Army Tests Off-Road Hydrogen Fuel-Cell Truck • Colorado ZH2

U.S. Army TARDEC (Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center) is testing the Chevrolet Colorado ZH2 to evaluate its off-road capabilities. The Colorado ZH2 is the the most extreme off-road hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle ever made by General Motors. Soldiers from the 4th Infantry Division and 10th Special Forces Group exercised the demonstrator to evaluate the ZH2's power (torque) responsiveness, silent mobility, high exportable power, and fuel cell technology.
