Stuntman performs backflips whilst in a full body burn

My name is Ryan Looney and I am currently the holder of six Guinness World Records titles

And now the most backflips in 30 seconds while completing a full body burn

And I'm going to talk you through the video of me doing the record attempt

I was freezing. I am wearing a couple of layers underneath that that are soaked in a gel and put in a fridge for

24 hours so it helped protect me from the fire but at the same time I was I was extremely cold

coming in here is John Mulvey from Hank Stunts he is the great stunt coordinator who kept me safe

throughout this so that's me of course on fire essentially at this point all I'm concentrating

on is moving getting the backflip done straight on to the next one so we're seven seconds in

and I've done two backflips so far so I'm on good track to beat the previous record

As you can see I'm on fire and I need to move quickly. I need to keep moving, the oxygen's

burning up around me. If I don't keep moving I could find it very difficult to breathe and

find the heat a bit too overwhelming See there are parts that are actually falling off what I wearing and burning in the middle of the mat there And you can see if I pause it quickly that the back of my sweats that I was wearing at

the time are actually falling apart. At this point I was sort of thinking, you know what, I'll keep going

John shouted, down, down, down. Those are them that I actually luckily didn't have any major injuries

My successful record total was seven backflips in 30 seconds while engaging in a full body burn

I did this record I was like oh my goodness there's a whole other world here that I hadn't

even considered and there's so many records for full body burns that I didn't even think I could

even have a chance at even touching. So now that I've done this record, I've kind of got the buggy

in. And I'm kind of thinking, I could do more. Not that bothered if someone breaks it. In fact

I would actually really like if someone went and tried it because it was really difficult for me

And the whole point of records is that they're going to be broken. It shows that we're ready to push the boundaries. It's incredible what humans can achieve
