Lifelong drummer sets records for stick flipping and hitting

My name is Eric Carr and I hold the following world record titles

Most drumstick spins in 30 seconds with one hand. Most bass drum beats in one minute

Most drumming backsticks executed in one minute. Now I have all 12 of these world records right here

I have quite a bit of experience drumming and the reason I even attempted all these records was actually for content for my YouTube channel

So in my search for the next hit video, I decided to take on some of Guinness's World Records

I've been drumming for 26 years. I started in the elementary school band and just fell in love with it right away

I then went on to major in music performance, got my master's degree

I won a spot in the United States Marine Corps Drum and Bugle Corps

And now I do content creation, playing some of the craziest and wildest drum solos you have ever seen

So the way I trained for all these records is put on the metronome

So when I'm trying to flip my drumstick, I want to be exactly in time

We got 100 beats per minute right here. Flip, flip, flip, flip

I'll bump the tempo up a little bit. We're at 110 here

So flip flip flip flip And I just keep going until I see if I mess it up or not Yeah Consistency is key when practicing these records Getting all of my flips just in time as fast as I possibly can go without making mistakes

The hardest one to break was definitely the most drumstick flips in 30 seconds

Now this was actually a record that I had previously broken with a score of 55

but then somebody else broke it with a score of 65. Yeah, that is quite a lot faster. So I had to really work to get my stick flipping up to par. That one was tough, but I got it

I am a very competitive person. You know, I want to be number one

I want to be the very best and I strongly believe that that mindset is mandatory when you're trying to break a Guinness World Record

You need to have the drive and also the discipline and motivation to really push yourself

128. I am very very proud of all 12 of my Guinness World Record titles, but I'm still hungry for more

I honestly think that most experienced drummers could break any of my records if they really put the time and commitment into it

Challenge you all to break my record. I do believe that everybody has at least, you know, some drive to be the best

For me, breaking all these world records, it's a huge sense of accomplishment

Who knows? Maybe you will break a Guinness World Record in the process
