0:00
what's up ladies and gentlemen this is
0:01
David Benjamin from WellStar Reviews and
0:02
Healthy Wild Free today I'm reviewing
0:04
the Heart and Soil line of supplements i
0:06
got the Gut and Digestion the Skin and
0:10
Nails and the Bone Matrix so I'm going
0:14
to review each of these supplements
0:15
today for you share the upsides and the
0:17
downsides and why I actually don't buy
0:20
my regular organ meats uh supplements
0:22
from the Heart and Soil Company so
0:24
little backstory on the Heart and Soil
0:26
Company my sister in Washington and my
0:29
mom in Michigan both have been taking
0:31
heart and soil supplements for a while
0:33
and I've been taking an organ meat
0:35
supplement and just not from Heart and
0:37
Soil and I was always like why do they
0:39
love this brand so much i don't
0:40
understand what their fascination like
0:42
they would always be like getting these
0:44
products and I like I'm in the health
0:45
and wellness world i buy supplements all
0:47
the time i take supplements all the time
0:49
and it wasn't until I actually got these
0:51
supplements and started understanding
0:54
the formulating the labels and the
0:57
effectiveness of these products that I
0:59
sort of had that aha moment so let's
1:02
break them down one by one and once
1:04
again I still don't take my regular
1:06
organ meat supplement from Heart and
1:08
Soil and I'll share with you why but
1:09
I'll also share with you the upsides and
1:11
downsides of this brand and what I like
1:12
and don't like about these individual
1:13
products so first and foremost uh I
1:16
actually got the skin and nails and bone
1:19
matrix uh formulas first and the reason
1:21
I got the bone matrix was because uh
1:23
ever since I started going to the gym uh
1:26
late last year late 2024 my right wrist
1:29
would just crack and pop
1:32
and right now it's not at all uh I will
1:36
say there have been a few things that
1:37
I've done besides the bone matrix i've
1:40
started taking sulfur MSM as well uh but
1:43
I have noticed very very very little
1:46
cracking and popping in my wrist ever
1:48
since I started taking the bone matrix
1:50
so I'm going to start by reviewing this
1:51
formula uh it contains calcium in the
1:53
form of microchrystalline
1:56
hydroxipatite MCHA uh phosphorus New
2:00
Zealand grass-fed bone matrix which is a
2:02
glucosamic glycans type one collagen so
2:05
only type one bioactive bone peptides
2:09
which is really fascinating trace
2:11
minerals such as boron strontium and
2:14
maganesees so uh what I like about this
2:17
formula first of all is the bioactive
2:19
bone peptides in the whole bone matrix
2:22
uh the glyco aminoglycans and the
2:25
minerals boron and uh what else yeah
2:29
just like collagen peptides minerals cuz
2:33
boron helps calcium absorption so I like
2:35
that it has boron in it because with the
2:37
calcium in the formula I like that it
2:39
has boron to at least help the
2:40
absorption however the formula is 58% of
2:44
your daily value of calcium and I think
2:47
that's a little bit high i actually
2:49
don't recommend that my clients take
2:50
calcium in supplement form simply
2:52
because the body stores calcium unlike
2:55
magnesium and these other minerals which
2:56
the body burns through very quickly so
2:59
750 millig of calcium 300 milligs of
3:02
phosphorus i like that it has phosphorus
3:03
too because once again phosphorus helps
3:05
calcium absorption so um but it has
3:10
double the amount of calcium and then
3:11
the whole whole fed bone matrix which
3:14
includes the gly g glyco amoglycans type
3:17
1 collagen bioactive bone and peptides
3:18
and trace minerals is 3,000 millig so
3:21
the majority of this formula I like i
3:22
just think the calcium is a little bit
3:24
too high and uh I don't really think we
3:27
need calcium in supplement form so
3:28
personally I would take that out uh but
3:30
like I said it helped me out my wrist
3:31
isn't cracking nearly as much it cracks
3:33
a little bit but this along with
3:35
phosphorus really helped out so if you
3:36
have bone or structural challenges in
3:40
your body that's a good product worth
3:41
taking so I'll set that aside for now
3:44
moving on to the next one skin and nails
3:47
i like this formula it is really cool
3:50
because it contains New Zealand
3:51
grass-fed cartilage 1200 mg the trachea
3:55
collagen scapula collagen bioactive
3:57
peptides once again and
4:02
crotetin sulfates i may have said that
4:04
wrong new Zealand grass-fed bone marrow
4:06
and grass-fed a little bit of liver in
4:08
there as well uh so the the basically
4:11
the marrow the different types of
4:13
collagens and cartilage and the
4:15
bioactive peptides i think this is a
4:17
great formula uh my skin looks amazing
4:19
right now and I've been utilizing this
4:21
along with a little bit more like the
4:23
sulfur also helps as well sulfur and
4:25
vitamin E uh and then just olive oil as
4:28
well um so I have noticed my skin be
4:29
healthier with this my nails i pick my
4:32
nails so it's hard for me to tell uh but
4:35
I just cut my toenails today and uh they
4:37
do they did seem pretty healthy so I
4:39
noticed a difference with my skin and
4:40
that but not as much with my nails I
4:42
guess I would say so I like that one and
4:44
I think that formula is great and I
4:45
honestly wouldn't change anything with
4:47
that formula moving on to the third
4:48
formula gut and digestion now looking at
4:51
those two formulas um I would encourage
4:53
you to understand the health products
4:55
that you take the supplements that you
4:56
take and the order in which you take
4:58
them and the reason for that is because
5:00
I long story short ate a bear not like a
5:04
living bear but carcass of a bear in
5:07
Vermont last year when I was living in
5:09
the mountains and uh I am in Texas now
5:12
and I've been around a lot of dogs and
5:14
dogs are like notorious for parasites
5:16
and I actually got a bear parasite in
5:18
Vermont and I believe I've gotten more
5:20
parasites from the dogs that I've been
5:22
around so I've had a lot of gut health
5:24
challenges that I've had to circumvent
5:26
with a lot of different things and I've
5:28
been throwing the kitchen sink and
5:29
everything I know as a health and
5:30
wellness coach at my gut health to get
5:33
it back in line and I recognized that
5:36
taking the bone matrix or you know the
5:39
uh skin and nails from heart and soil I
5:42
it was helpful and nice because I did
5:45
notice some differences but I realized
5:46
my gut health wasn't really absorbing
5:48
protein that well and it just wasn't
5:50
absorbing nutrients that well uh like
5:52
for example I was swallowing papaya
5:54
seeds pole whole and pooping them out
5:55
not to get too graphic but you're
5:57
supposed to digest and metabolize those
5:59
so what I realized was I needed to get
6:01
the gut digestion formula which I got
6:04
and this contains a variety of it's New
6:08
Zealand all New Zealand grass-fed tripe
6:10
stomach uh intestines pancreas liver and
6:14
spleen and I really like this formula
6:17
because the stomach intestines pancreas
6:20
liver spleen these are you know your
6:23
main gut health and digestive health
6:25
organs uh you know your liver for
6:27
metabolizing protein and fat your
6:29
pancreas your blood sugar levels your
6:30
intestines are super important and a lot
6:33
of bacterial challenges in the
6:34
intestines so the the gut lining the
6:36
intestines are valuable the stomach as
6:38
well and then the spleen is sort of
6:40
overlooked and it's such a small thing
6:43
uh but I've had assessments through
6:45
Chinese medicine and my spleen has been
6:46
a little iffy at times so uh I really
6:49
like this formula i think it's very
6:51
whole and complete and uh it works
6:54
really well and my gut health has
6:57
thankfully i think I'm starting to get
6:59
over some of these recurring challenges
7:01
that I've had with my gut health uh and
7:03
get back on track i am and uh it's I'm
7:05
very grateful for that so this company
7:06
is exceptional uh I can see and I'll say
7:09
so really what I like about this company
7:11
I think my least favorite of these three
7:13
bone gut digestion skin and nails is
7:16
even though I've experienced benefits
7:18
from the bone matrix it's just that I
7:19
don't like the 58% daily value of
7:21
calcium in there I think it's too high
7:23
so but other than that I mean this
7:25
company's fantastic what I like about
7:27
this company compared to other brands
7:28
and I'll share with you uh the organ
7:30
complex supplement that I take here in a
7:32
minute is that it uh heart and soil has
7:36
the greatest biodiversity of nutrients
7:39
from cows from you know uh different
7:43
well I think it's mostly cows I think
7:45
they're pretty much all cows I could be
7:46
wrong with that but uh getting the most
7:49
grass-fed bioavailable nutrients from
7:52
you know everything from like the gut
7:53
digestion your stomachs intestines
7:55
pancreas liver spleen your collagen your
7:57
peptides uh you know all these different
8:00
things it gives you a lot of
8:01
biodiversity of nutrition and this
8:04
nutrition it's not only biodiverse but
8:06
it's bioavailable meaning your body can
8:08
absorb it quite well because we are not
8:10
plants we are biological moving beings
8:13
more similar to cows in our cellular
8:15
structure so therefore we absorb these
8:17
things better so with that being said I
8:20
love this brand and I don't know why it
8:22
took me so long to get turned on to it
8:23
uh like I said my sister in Washington
8:25
and my mom in Michigan both take
8:27
products from this brand and now I am
8:29
too clearly and I think they're really
8:31
fantastic so I'll put a link below to
8:33
them along with a discount code and now
8:36
the reason why I don't and probably
8:39
still won't take my organ meat
8:41
supplement from Heart and Soil and I'm
8:42
going to take that from the company
8:43
Paleo Valley the reason for that is
8:45
because Paleo Valley within their
8:48
formula I did the math and it's once
8:51
again it's all grass-fed as well their
8:53
formula I really like this formula
8:55
because their organ complex is liver at
8:58
the top 2700 mg then heart 540 millig
9:03
then kidney 360 millig so it really
9:06
prioritizes getting liver and then heart
9:09
second and for me I just see that as
9:11
incred incredibly valuable and I've
9:13
tested different organ meat grass-fed
9:16
supplements on my metabolism in
9:18
particular I have a device that tests if
9:20
I'm burning fat or carbs and I have
9:22
found that this supplement gives me the
9:25
best fat burning state that I can
9:26
possibly be in and it just works
9:29
incredibly well and it's a little bit
9:32
more costfriendly than the heart and
9:34
soil supplement that essentially
9:35
contains liver heart and kidney as well
9:37
so I get a little bit more bang for my
9:39
buck in terms of the grass-fed uh organ
9:43
meat supplements and organ meat you know
9:45
liver heart kidney whatever so it's in
9:47
terms of like my main organ meat
9:50
supplement I take Paleo Valley's organ
9:52
complex and I'll put a link to this
9:54
below that'll give you 15% off but for
9:57
more specific and granular uh nutrients
10:00
in the body for my gut or skin nails
10:03
joints things like that heart and soil
10:05
has everything that you need and
10:06
unfortunately Paleo Valley doesn't have
10:08
that so I save a little bit of money
10:09
with this and this you can get uh I
10:12
think I have a link that's like 15% off
10:13
so you'll get 15% off Paleo Valley and
10:15
then uh like 10 I think it's 10% off
10:17
Heart and Soil so check those out below
10:19
i'll put them in the comment section and
10:20
if you want and if you like these
10:22
products and you're into uh you know
10:24
grass-fed animal products and things
10:26
like that you'll probably love this
10:29

10:32
