how to SLIM your face (4 minute daily routine)

Hi everyone! Today I'm going to be showing you my gua sha routine that has slimmed down my face

has drastically changed my face shape. Here are some of the things you'll need. Now of course I'm

washing my face beforehand. I want to make sure that I'm working with clean skin before I do my

gua sha routine. This also helps wash away any dirt and debris that may be lingering, which can

make it harder for the tool to glide. I'm doing some skin prep as well starting with a toner. You

guys know this is my go-to one by Aquel. I don't think I can live without this, it's that good

It just makes my skin feel super clean and fresh. Next you're going to need a product that will help

the gua sha glide on the skin without resistance. So I like using a hydrating serum. I don't like

to use oils since I have combination skin and can be prone to breakouts but feel free to use an oil

if you have more dry skin. Okay, now it's time to sculpt our face

You don want to use it straight on like 90 degrees you want to use as much of its surface area as possible so I like to hold it around 45 degrees I first go under my cheekbones starting from my mouth to the side of my cheek going under the bone to define that area

I also like to glide it down to my neck for that lymph drainage. Next, I go under my eye in a slight u-shape toward my temple, then down my cheek

This is a great movement if you wake up with puffy eyes in the morning. This really helps to make the puffiness go down and sculpt the cheekbones

And then I will repeat all of that on the right side. Now I am mirroring you guys so if you want to follow along with this routine you can

And don't worry if your face becomes a bit red, that just means you're increasing blood

circulation which is a good thing. Now the key to gua sha is that you have to be consistent

Alright now we're going to move onto the lower part of our face, starting with the jawline

I taking the notched part of the tool and using it to carve out my jaw And again you want to finish the movement all the way down at your neck to drain all that limb fluid from your face It also not necessary to go super fast I sped up these clips so you guys can see the full routine but it important to take your time with this and be gentle

The slower you go, the better the results will be over time. I also like to gua sha my neck, so I'm taking the long edge of the tool to glide up

You don't want to go down because that can drag the skin, which we don't want

The neck is one of the first places to show signs of aging, so you want to treat this area right

And if you want those 90 degree shoulders, my trick is to use the notched side of the tool again to carve out your trapezius muscle

If you have tense traps like me, this is a great movement to help relax that muscle

I like to go right on top of the area as well as kind of on the back of my neck

Okay we have one more exercise left and that is the collarbones I taking the notched side again to glide from the inside of my collarbone to the outside
