William Randph Hurst endowed scholarship
0:02
at Belmont University 2025. This is in
0:05
United States. It's for bachelors. It's
0:07
full funding. It's currently open for
0:09
application and only five people get
0:12
gets it every five people get every year
0:15
but it's a very very uh generous
0:17
scholarship and you don't have to apply
0:19
for this basically. It covers full
0:21
tition, room or board accommodations,
0:24
books and additional fees. Belmont
0:26
University is not a huge university.
0:29
It's small. It's in Nashville. Nashville
0:31
is in Tennessee, right? I think so. So,
0:33
this place would also already be quite
0:35
affordable compared to a lot of other
0:37
places in uh the in the United States.
0:40
So, it's a good university if you want
0:41
to study in United States and especially
0:45
you don't have a lot of money to like
0:47
spend on your living costs. Uh so, it
0:50
would already not be very much
0:52
expensive. Uh but also you have a you
0:54
have a scholarship that you can apply
0:56
to. tuition is about $40,000 but this
0:59
scholarship kind of covers that. So we
1:01
have the like if you want to if you want
1:04
to see how to apply you can just uh
1:06
check out our links we have the
1:08
deadlines here there are other
1:10
scholarships as well as you can see how
1:12
many scholarships are there exactly
1:13
eight uh so yeah this is the university
1:15
it it's a good university so again the
1:18
scholarship covers full tion it covers
1:20
room or board accommodations it covers
1:22
books and addition fees doesn't give you
1:24
a living statement but again if you have
1:27
to cover your own living expenses uh
1:29
this is one of the better policies you
1:31
can pick in the United States. There's
1:33
there isn't any eligibility criteria
1:35
just be an international bachelor
1:37
student and there is no application to
1:40
talk about and if you have any questions
1:42
as you can see you can just leave them
1:43
in our comment section and as you can
1:45
see they're all answered. If you want to
1:46
get more information you can just click
1:48
here official scholarship page to get
1:51
more information. Yeah, this is pretty
1:52
much there are other scholarships as
1:54
well. You can get more information here.
1:56
Well, that's pretty much it. Not much to
1:57
say. Ammon, do you want to say anything
1:59
about this scholarship?
2:00
Actually, yes. So, there is one thing
2:02
that I find quite interesting about this
2:04
scholarship that they probably added
2:07
recently in the eligibility criteria
2:10
section. I think we don't have that on
2:12
our side because they changed it. One of
2:14
the requirements is a cumulative high
2:17
school GPA above 4.5 on a 4.0 scale. I
2:21
think if you read that you're you ask
2:24
yourself how would it be 4.5 out of
2:27
four. So if you if even if you get top
2:30
marks on everything you would still have
2:32
a GPA of 4.0 on a scale of 4.0. But most
2:36
cases where the cumulative GPA
2:39
requirement exceeds the GPA, it would be
2:42
a weighted uh CGPA. Which means uh that
2:46
if a course is considered challenging
2:48
that you have done in high school, say I
2:51
don't know mathematics, if you get the
2:53
full mark, if you get an A, the A would
2:55
count as a 5.0 rather than a 4.0. And so
3:00
this is throughout the years because
3:01
it's cumulative. So, you would need a
3:03
lot of A's in order to at least get uh
3:07
the 4.5. You can get more, but the
3:09
minimum requirement here is 4.5. So, you
3:11
need A's on courses that are honors or
3:14
that are considered more challenging
3:16
than others in order to achieve
