This video explores four universities in China with published no-fee policies or application processes that do not list an application fee, while explaining where applicants should verify the latest requirements. 📚 **University Highlights:** **University of Science and Technology of China (USTC)** – Located in Hefei, USTC explicitly states that international undergraduate applicants do not pay an application fee. Students can also explore opportunities such as the Chinese Government Scholarship and USTC Fellowship, subject to eligibility and funding conditions. **Duke Kunshan University** – This joint-venture university offers an interdisciplinary undergraduate education taught in English and explicitly states that it does not charge an application fee. Merit-based scholarships and need-based financial aid are available, although separate financial-aid application costs may apply. **University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC)** – Offering English-taught degree programs and University of Nottingham degrees, UNNC states that no application fee is required for undergraduate applications for September 2026 entry. It also states that postgraduate research applications are fee-free, but applicants should check the policy for their specific program and intake. **Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU)** – This international university offers English-taught degree programs and an online application process. Its current international undergraduate application information does not list a university application fee, but applicants should confirm the payment requirements directly with admissions before applying. 💰 **Important Costs to Consider:** No application fee does not mean that a university is free to attend. Tuition, accommodation, health insurance, living expenses, visa-related costs, and travel can still add up. Also, an enrollment deposit paid after admission is different from an application fee. 🎓 **Scholarships for International Students in China:** Some of these universities offer merit-based scholarships, university fellowships, or other financial aid opportunities. Check each institution’s official website for current eligibility criteria, funding coverage, and deadlines before applying. 🏛️ **Why Watch This Video?** If you’re looking for affordable universities in China, this guide can help you identify institutions where you may avoid an upfront university application fee.
