okay looks like we are live yeah we are um hi everyone it's Global scholarships
0:14
and I'm your host as I hope you're all doing well I hope everything is going great and today we are here with another
0:21
weekly live stream another Friday another live stream and I'm here as always joined by aan hi Amon how are you
0:27
how are things going with you uh hi I'm doing fine thank you how are you I'm
0:33
doing fine as well thank you very much so everyone if you're new here um we do this every Friday every Friday we do
0:40
live streams on both and Tik Tok and YouTube we share different scholarship
0:47
opportunities that are like open for application right now and you can ask any questions that you might have as
0:54
always so um we are as you can see we have both a YouTube channel and a Tik
1:00
Tok account and we share a lot of informative stuff on both sides so if you're interested you can check out both
1:06
of them now as you can see we are Global scholarships you might not know what
1:13
that is we are a platform that shares a lot of informative stuff about scholarships about studying abroad in
1:19
general about universities etc etc as you can see this is our website Global
1:24
scholarships.com um we also have a newsletter we also have a a consultancy
1:30
service but I guess it's full like it's not open for application right now you can see more about us in the About Us
1:38
section um so the global scholarships.com is a completely free website which uh shares a lot of
1:45
information as you can see I'm going to have to just like mess up the frame rate
1:51
here because this frame rate does not work uh let me just so that I can uh
1:57
show you so as you can see we have like courses scholarships we have guides
2:02
about different things country guides application guides uh guides to find uh
2:09
cheap and free universities more affordable universities um cost of living which is interestingly something
2:17
that you are all interested in but when I made a video about that no one watched it it's kind of odd so we have guides on
2:25
tests and documents like English proficiency tests standardized tests tests ET
2:30
documents so yeah uh we have quite a lot of guides here uh for example if you want
2:36
to study in let's say Italy you can just click here and as you can see we have a huge selection of guides about every
2:45
different um topic that kind of uh that
2:50
studying in that country includes like higher education uh we have choosing a university like best cities best
2:57
universities best English taught universities best programs or applying
3:02
to a university that's uh we have complete guides etc etc so we have a lot
3:07
of information here also one thing that is kind of in my opinion a little unique to Global scholarships we have the
3:15
resources section uh where you'll see scholarship stories so
3:20
basically uh Global scholarships find uh people who received scholarships and
3:27
have then then we have those uh scholarship recipients to share their stories as you can see we have quite a
3:35
lot of them uh and they're growing like we like new and new people are uh being
3:40
added here so you can click on any one of these and like read about their
3:46
stories learn about their stories for example this person Sim Safar um they
3:51
are in University of Cambridge they got shaving scholarship how did they get that scholarship like what's the
3:57
scholarship about what is their education background where did they come from uh how did they apply for the
4:04
scholarship uh what what they would have done differently and what advice um yeah
4:10
it's live I think it is live or we live um hi suip um if you're hearing this
4:17
it's probably live right now so yeah um so and like what advice they would
4:25
give to new people people looking to uh receive scholarships so yeah we have all kinds of information
4:33
hi there s Welcome to our live stream uh we are here to like share
4:38
scholarship opportunities and if you have any questions is that possible to find scholarship for Stanford I think I
4:44
will apply without scholarship uh because I will have higher chance for acceptance
4:51
uh says Kuran mentality so uh first of all let's look at Stanford I think um
5:01
I think you are referring to a financial aid uh because like you say you're
5:08
chance of being accepted is higher so they have two one is financial aid the
5:13
other is graduate student assistantship I'm going to assume you are looking for uh the financial aid aan is um Stanford
5:22
need aware I'm not sure you you probably have that information
5:35
um Amon you are
5:49
muted yep you're still muted I cannot hear you Aman if you can hear
5:55
me um yep go ahead can you hear me yes
6:01
okay um yeah so I believe that Stanford is nether aware and it's one of the
6:07
universities that uh cover 100% of the students needs so
6:13
whoever is admitted is probably guaranteed to uh get a fully funded
6:21
scholarship uh provided that they need it so uh you're right so what do you think
6:29
about Kiran mentality like they say uh they want to apply to Stanford but they
6:35
will apply without scholarship like without financial aid uh because like they believe they will have a higher
6:42
chance for acceptance like what do you what advice would you give about that
6:47
yeah that is true all need aware universities already tell you that
6:53
uh they tell you that they are need aware in the sense
6:59
that your financial need would result in uh a lesser chance of getting admitted
7:08
so I guess if you want to improve your chances of being admitted you can apply
7:13
without applying for financial aid yes so of course um now for people
7:20
who do not know much about financial aids so um a lot of United States um
7:25
universities offer financial aid they basically cover uh most of them well let's say some of them cover 100% of
7:32
your demonstrated needs so basically the amount of your financial needs that your family cannot cover um so like this is
7:40
for example one of them financial aid uh and their need blind universities and um
7:46
need aware University so basically uh if a university is need aware and you apply
7:51
for f like apply to the university with um a requirement of financial aid it can
7:58
lower your chances of being accepted accepted to the university um but if they are need blind they just don't care
8:04
like if you are going to admit it uh you will be admitted whether you need financial aid or not so that's what need
8:11
blind and need wear meets um now of course one thing about Stanford is that they have very high
8:19
tuition piece it's about $60,000 every year so like of course
8:25
Kiran if you have enough uh funds to cover that uh um like I think that would
8:31
be a better idea uh to increase your chance of acceptance uh but if you're
8:38
saying yeah I don't want to apply for financial aid because it will lower my chances but I also cannot cover so I'm
8:44
looking for scholarships um the university does not give any other scholarships so you might want to look
8:51
for other scholarships perhap perhaps um like um maybe institutional scholarships
8:58
maybe other scholarships as well go to Global scholarships.com we have like government scholarships uh under the
9:04
scholarship section uh hang on actually let me let me show you one thing you can do you can go to Country guides um hi hi
9:13
there Kimberly I'm going to get back here in a second and so I'm going to get back you in a second as well so you can
9:18
go to uh study in United States we have a lot of guides here and in
9:28
the scholarship opportunity section you will see the current open scholarships pobite um 19 best scholarships etc etc
9:37
you can look into those those are not given by the university but Stanford does not give any other scholarships uh
9:43
to undergraduates so I think what about 90% scholarships ask uh ask Kimberly do
9:51
you refer refer to like I said 100% And you are asking for 90% ones if
9:59
you can give us a little more information uh like if you're asking there are there specifically 90%
10:05
scholarships that are perhaps need blind um I'm not sure I get that question so
10:11
if you can ask it a little bit more detailed we can help you better so sudip asks I am disabled I want to apply in
10:18
Europe but I have problem in English requirement test I cannot walk and write but use electronic device such as
10:25
computer mobile Etc very well I have completed MBA y um Aman I would have to
10:32
um defer to you on that like you would have more information on what kind of opportunities and chances sudip
10:42
Hasa i' see I'm seen you yeah go ahead sorry
10:48
so in in Europe
10:54
um for one uh the tuition is free and for two I I believe that I have only
11:03
seen in the United States scholarships that accommodate uh many people in including
11:10
people with disabilities so you might want to look into that as far as
11:16
universities in the United States are concerned because there are uh scholarships specifically for people
11:23
with disabilities uh but I haven't seen any in Europe so any Europe although tuition
11:30
is free uh you would need uh to be able to
11:36
support yourself during uh your degree so for the
11:42
duration of your degree you need to be able to support yourself um yeah so that's that's
11:51
basically it uh I have looked into European scholarships but there aren't
11:58
even that many lot loone so scholarships that accommodate a wide range of
12:05
people uh just concerning the previous question I was on Stanford's uh website
12:11
and they said they're need blind for most but a few International students
12:18
they didn't really uh specify what kind of international students they
12:23
don't uh offer need blind admission to but you might want to look into that so
12:30
if you want to apply with uh financial aid so you probably
12:38
can do that uh I can see the exception on their website I have tried looking
12:43
but um there isn't much but for the most part they said they're need blind rather
12:49
than need aware all right so um Kiran if you're
12:55
here so apparently they are um need blind also sudip one thing that might interest you might be um that I've just
13:03
shared a video uh on both YouTube and Tik Tok that are like three best
13:09
universities in Germany that are offering um online courses perhaps that might be something you are interested in
13:17
um so like you might want to look into that too uh we have like like if you're
13:23
if your um aim is to get an get a very good education from a University in in
13:29
Europe rather than going to uh going and maybe perhaps staying in Europe um so if
13:34
you're mainly interested in education that might interest you as well they have like they have kind of High um
13:41
tuition fees uh but also you don't have to go there and spend a lot of money on
13:48
uh living costs of course that's that that's another thing so I like that's
13:53
because you asked about Europe as well so uh mza Meera SHI I'm going to call
14:01
you Meara asks I am international student grade 12 student currently in
14:06
high school what opportunities outside USA I can apply to well there are there
14:12
are a lot of uh opportunities for Bachelors um like not that many USA by
14:20
far uh offers the most scholarships uh but you can look into our videos uh we
14:26
share currently open scholarships and you will see there are a lot of scholarships in Canada in Australia uh
14:34
some in Europe Europe does not have that many scholarships we have scholarships in um Japan South Korea China and Taiwan
14:42
has very uh comprehensive scholarships a lot of people are not that interested in
14:48
those universities those countries but uh both China and Taiwan has a lot of very comprehensive scholarships that
14:54
cover a lot of things and like some of their scholarships are are also for
14:59
programs that are taught in English or French it's not just uh Chinese so you
15:04
might want to keep that in mind as well maybe that will um interest
15:10
you um hi there I'm not sure why are you calling me
15:16
sister but um I'm not sure hi Elliot so
15:22
first of all hang on a second Elliot and NM we'll get back to um Aman do you want
15:28
to say anything about this like Meara asks there are 12 uh grade and what
15:34
opportunities they have outside USA like do you have anything specific that you might want to
15:43
recommend uh not really no because the possibilities are endless it just
15:49
depends on you and where you want to study uh what your financial situation
15:56
is uh so this is basically it if they mean
16:02
opportunities in in terms of scholarships then I would say that
16:07
outside the US there there aren't that many uh scholarship opportunities
16:13
although education is more affordable um but other than that the final decision comes down to what you
16:21
want where you want to go many countries would require learning
16:28
a new language or uh would require
16:35
something basically um they would require for you to adjust
16:42
in a certain way so it all comes down to that it's a
16:47
personal decision rather than something you can narrow down for a person okay
16:53
thank you very much um hi Chad Champion I will call you Chad Champion um um so
17:00
yeah um also you can make ourselves look at these like we have you can use our
17:05
Search tool to find schoolers ships in different countries you can use our filter someone specifically asks are
17:11
there any scholarships that you might know for people with d syndrome I've never heard anything
17:18
that's specific do you know anything
17:25
Aman um not on the top of my head no okay very well thank you very much um
17:33
I'm not sure Elliot if you are here still here uh just give us a little bit more information about what you want to
17:40
study where you want to study uh about yourself maybe we can help you a little better um Chad Champion I will come to
17:47
your question in a second and I'm asks I'm wondering something I'm B2 so I
17:52
really want to visit other countries but am in high school how can I visit other
17:58
countries so that's a very uh very general very broad question I think B2 uh you mean B2 like
18:07
you have B2 level in English um Amon this is not really strictly a
18:13
scholarship or education question uh but is there anything you want to say about
18:20
this um your level of proficiency in
18:26
English uh has nothing to to do with your ability to visit other countries I
18:32
think it wouldn't even count if you need a visa to apply to another country so
18:39
they wouldn't take it into account I mean I don't really see the
18:44
correlation between the two maybe like they can apply to um like exchange
18:50
student programs uh it might come in handy in like those I'm from turkey and
18:56
a lot of people uh in the university and College uh wants to see other countries
19:02
uh they usually Erasmus for example is the first thing that comes to mind uh like maybe it could come in handy there
19:09
uh or any other Exchange program perhaps I mean yes but uh just looking
19:17
at the question I like visiting doesn't strike me as studying so I'm not sure if
19:23
that's what what they're looking for but for study in I guess B2
19:29
is the minimum required level to be
19:35
admitted to any program uh most of the time unless it's a a demanding program
19:41
in terms of language where you need a higher level but for most non-demanding
19:49
programs that don't really require a deep understanding of English B2 could
19:55
be uh good enough so they say they also from turkey and they're they ask for
20:01
studying so like one advice I could give you is like try to get as much
20:06
information as you can on your specific studying topic if you're in University
20:12
or you want to study um because like I have I have quite a few um friends who
20:18
went to Europe uh with arasmus or other like exchange student programs and there
20:24
are a couple of things they are interested whether accept you and one of them is your language and the other is
20:31
your language proficiency and the other is like how much uh do you know about your specific subject of course I am
20:39
like I studied international relations so like our chances are were a little bit higher uh so I think in Turkey from
20:46
Turkey that's the best you could do also um I think like now might be the best
20:53
time to go and like if you want to go out and do like if you can get Visa and uh like Turkish Lura has the highest
21:02
amount of uh purchasing power it has ever had and it will ever have probably
21:07
so yeah like if you can get a Visa uh for now like at this point of time going
21:12
as a tourist might be a good idea uh but if you want to go for studying I think arasmus might be your best chance H
21:20
hyderi uh I will get back to you in a second but first Chad has been asking a
21:25
long question don't do you don't off any full I think they mean do you know of
21:32
any full funded bachelor's programs in mechanical engineering sorry taught in
21:37
English adding onto my question I'm looking for these programs outside USA
21:43
I've already made a list for universities inside USA thank you um so
21:48
they are looking for bachelor's mechanical engineering
21:54
taught in English outside USA that's very specific so so um Aman do
22:01
you do you want to take like uh you want to give it give an answer to this we can
22:06
also look at use our Search tool I mean that's the best way to find
22:11
these scholarships just use our Search tool yeah I kind of advise you to use
22:18
our Search tool so when you choose subject as the me mechanical engineering
22:23
um the first scholarships that you will get they are the ones that specifically
22:29
mention mechanical engineering like these ones this is in Singapore this is in hang on let's choose Bachelor
22:37
2 right so this is in Singapore Science and Technology undergraduate scholarship
22:43
it's full funding uh you know what let's choose full funding too because you spe
22:48
specified full funding um yeah this is full funding in Singapore this is in United States in
22:55
United States this is in United States this isn't Tokyo merit scholarship but as you can see this just says all
23:02
subjects it doesn't say mechanical engineering so when a university says
23:08
that uh a specific scholarship is for all subjects that means all subjects
23:13
that they offer so this is University of Tokyo uh this is a merit scholarship
23:19
it's full funding for Bachelors um so you would need to go to the University's
23:25
website and see if they offer mechanical engineering if they do it means that you can apply uh for the scholarship through
23:33
mechanical engineering um Hassan poite then H says link it's Global
23:39
scholarships just Global scholarships.com go to Global scholarships.com and here it is like
23:45
homepage you don't have to register anything pay or it's completely free um
23:51
if you have a country in mind if you have a program in mind anything you can just type that let's say United States
23:58
right you can just choose the country choose the institution let's say you want to study in Yale Yale you can choose that or you can
24:06
just hit enter without choosing anything and then you can use our filter uh
24:13
filters are these visible yeah okay they're visible like degree location
24:18
scholarship type scholarship type basically means um M me high there um
24:23
you asked can I apply with 60% I I did not understand that question I kind of uh doubt uh aan understands
24:32
that question either can you give us a little bit more information like what do you mean by that like what what do you
24:38
want to apply um what is
24:43
60% um Aman like do do you understand the question or like if you know what it
24:51
means I kind of understand the question but I don't know what they're trying to apply for I think they mean 60% GPA yes
25:00
but I'm not sure if it's for University for scholarships for specific scholarship so I think we need more
25:07
information yeah if you give us a little bit more information what do you want to apply 60% I also thought that it's like
25:15
GPA uh could be I don't know English proficiency or something else just like
25:20
give us a little bit more information right so yeah these These are meanwhile these are our
25:26
filters so we have scholarship types maybe some people are kind of new to whole scholarship thing and they might
25:32
be asking what is full funding what what's the so um we have three types of
25:38
scholarships partial funding full tuition full funding Chad Champion says thank you for
25:45
that information the main problem I was having was researching all of the requirements in the various countries
25:51
some of these uni or government websites are quite conversome yeah that is that is one of the issues you will have to
25:59
um deal with like struggle with the offer paid uh one-on-one Consulting
26:04
Services we do offer Consulting Services uh but it's not open for application right now I think it is still um kind of
26:13
let me see yeah so you can check
26:19
um periodically if you want like under about section we used to have like
26:24
consultancy services but like um I think couple weeks ago uh we had enough
26:31
students and so they decided to stop uh new people coming in uh so we do not
26:36
offer it momentarily but like Global scholarship does have a consultancy service so yes as you said like
26:44
government websites like it's very cumbersome maybe you could uh specifically focus on just one country
26:51
or like if you have just pin like the more you pinpoint what you want uh
26:57
easier be and you can also now again we have
27:03
like I think this is a really useful part of our website uh like we have
27:08
country guides and you can get a lot of information about the a this is horrible
27:14
okay this is better um like if you choose let's say China right uh like you
27:21
can get very specific guides about the education Pro process uh applying to
27:26
universities applying scholarships and even like things like uh work opportunities types of Visa how to get a
27:34
Chinese work visa for example etc etc um you can get more information also of
27:40
course um like maybe you can focus it a little bit like maybe two or three
27:46
countries that you might think and there are like we are a very We Are YouTube
27:54
page uh with a very broad um area so like can I get a it's Global
28:01
scholarships.com I can share if you want like if you have a spe if you are asking for a specific University or scholarship
28:08
uh but it's just Global scholarships you can just go right now and you will see pretty much the same page um there are
28:14
some YouTube channels uh that are sharing information specifically on that
28:19
country going to that country and like how the process exists so you can look
28:25
into those um see like a couple of videos a couple of channels that might
28:31
give you the best information because usually those people are the people who
28:36
went through the entire implication process so that might give you the best
28:41
idea um so manme did not come back to us
28:47
with the rest of the question um there is one more yeah
28:54
Elliot no not Elliot Elliot um um there's one more question
29:00
that we ask for more information I believe I apply so many
29:08
times you're very welcome uh Chad we are here every Friday if you have any
29:14
specific questions if you kind of like narrow it down a little bit and uh want to ask a question specifically about
29:20
that also let me give you another um advice so let's say uh you interested in
29:27
studying in um you know what ped let's say un of
29:33
ped okay so you can go search peda go to our page um if you're just interested in
29:40
the school maybe you're interested in the scholarship every page we have under
29:46
here we have a comment section all right so as you can see this is one comment um
29:51
you can just leave your question here um any page doesn't matter could
29:58
could be a scholarship page could be a um university page and Y who is the
30:03
founder of global scholarships will answer your question um but I haven't
30:08
seen any question going unanswered in the comment section which is kind of uh
30:15
crazy to me since this is just like a website a free website you don't have to register or anything can just leave your
30:22
question and he will answer all of them this is where I would put my question so
30:27
like um that's the best advice I can give you if you have a very specific question you
30:32
can just leave it here and he will answer it for you of course you can ask us either uh narrow over the question
30:40
the better we can help you I apply so many times says Lara I think it's Lara or Lara if you're
30:47
from Turkey it's Lara [Music] um could you specify it a little bit
30:54
more do you like are you asking apply to uh or do you apply to a lot of
31:01
universities um have been applying will apply I don't think I have understood
31:09
that quite as well so let me see something okay
31:17
now I don't see any new questions right now so let me just show you how
31:23
are uh like scholarship page and Etc or general uh Search
31:31
tool hi uh I don't understand what language that is I know Turkish and I know
31:39
English uh if you know French like that's a little bit I can understand but uh not not that language sorry so let me
31:47
show you one scholarship um right so this is one of the scholarships
31:55
that we'll see this week it's open right now hang on
32:01
yeah you live in Turkey huh great so uh this is financial aid
32:08
program at Trinity College 2024 2025 it's a Trinity College in United
32:14
States as I said a lot of universities in the United States have these financial aid programs as you can see no
32:21
specific nationalities no specific subjects or anything admission deadline seems like it's passed
32:28
[Music] um okay so you've um graduated three years ago I
32:36
think from the University with your bachelor's degree so you're a
32:43
graduate I understood like I'm with you so far uh but then do you have any
32:50
questions so admission oh okay just 3 months
32:55
sorry why why did I why did I think of that as year that does that looks
33:01
nothing like Year sorry um so admission deadlines are passed but uh don't mind
33:07
that because it's just the first early decision the second early decision ends in January 15 so you still have time if
33:14
you're interested in this school so basically this is our how our page works
33:20
like we have scholarship summary gives you all the information we have coverage here this covers full cost of studies
33:27
again as I said um it covers how much you would need um and we're going to see
33:32
that in a bit more depth when will the Turkish economy sink um well it has been
33:39
sinking for quite a while if you're asking when it will hit the bottom um I
33:44
don't think anybody knows uh but I fear that we'll eventually witness it all
33:51
together um I guess it will be fun to watch for anyone but us so you you can
33:57
just click here on Trinity College to go and see about the university the page that we have right
34:05
and we have like a lot of information here about where it is the population number of
34:10
scholarships um admission process deadlines um tuition fees and
34:16
Etc again you can leave your questions here see all that's helpful and financial aid
34:24
basically uh you need something called CSS profile so here's how the process
34:30
goes now you go and apply to the university now Trinity Trinity College
34:35
as quite a lot of universities um in the United States they offer say they accept
34:41
something called common app so let me show you that common application again is a
34:48
platform um sorry that you can nice s I'll check it out later good
34:54
Publications thank you very much if you have any other questions uh you might ask them here or again in
35:01
our uh comment section so common up is a platform where you create a profile and then use that profile to apply to more
35:09
than a thousand colleges uh a lot of them are in the United States a lot of universities in the United States accept
35:15
applications through common app I have done a few tuition video uh tuition
35:21
tutorial videos on applications it's like it takes maybe an hour to uh um
35:28
like create your common app profile but again you will have to write like essays
35:34
etc etc it's a long process but like easy to create a profile so you create a
35:39
profile on Common App and then go use that to apply to tr College all right so
35:45
when you apply to the university you let them know as they say
35:52
here you let them know indicate your intention to apply for financial aid on
35:57
your admission application so you use com up to apply to the university and when you apply you let them know that
36:04
you will uh you will be requiring financial aid all right and then as a
36:10
second step you complete the something called a CSS profile now CSS profile is
36:16
another um platform it is it stands for college
36:21
scholarship Services each year CSS profile unlocks access to more than 10 billion dollars
36:28
in non-federal Aid to thousands of students so basically it's another platform that you create a profile you
36:35
give them information about your family's income your financial situation your taxes and etc etc etc and then the
36:44
university takes that information uh CIS profile enables our
36:50
office to calculate a fam's demonstrated level of need so that we can build a financial assistance award customized to
36:57
you and your family basically they get take the information and they calculate
37:02
they estimate how much um financial aid you will need to be able to um study in
37:08
that school and if you get it that is how much you get paid like if the univers decides that you will need let's
37:16
say $60,000 uh to be able to uh study in
37:21
that University and your family can only contribute maybe $220,000 uh so they will will give you
37:29
the rest of that um money like $40,000 and that's how pretty much the
37:35
thing like pretty much financially thing works of course this is assuming they cover 100% of your demonstrated needs so
37:43
yeah we get more information here specific uh circumstances divorced or
37:48
separated or special circumstances etc etc you can look into these but this is
37:54
uh in general how financial aid works they get the information about your financial situation and they decide okay
38:01
you need this amount of money and we'll give you that so that's what financial aid is this is like it's why this is
38:10
classified as full funding because it covers more than the tuition fees it covers pretty much everything uh that
38:16
you might need so
38:23
yeah um I don't see any other questions Aman do you want to add anything maybe
38:29
correct me on something uh that I made I may have had a
38:36
mistake no you haven't it was a really comprehensive explanation so I I don't
38:42
think you can add anything to that okay thank you very much so yeah guys so this
38:48
is for example this is a very typical scholarship uh that you might see in the
38:53
United States again we've talked about like uh near blind and need aware um
39:00
universities need aware universities like if you apply to the university uh stating that you will need
39:07
financial require financial aid sorry it might lower your chances of being admitted so yeah this is one of the most
39:15
um typical scholarships that you will see in the United States another one of them is a graduate scho gradate
39:21
assistantship another one of them will be just basic uh Merit based scholarship
39:27
so if you are interested in studying in the United States as a bachelor student
39:32
this might be your thing so this was the first one I wanted to see today this is
39:37
open for application right now by the way both the school and the scholarship because you apply for the scholarship
39:43
while they apply to the university so let me show you another one since we don't have any questions
39:51
right now so so this is free to at Technical
39:58
University of drin um now we've talked about um Europe a little bit usually you
40:05
don't get that many Scholarships in uh Europe specifically
40:10
Germany um but they like generally tuition fees are quite
40:18
lower much much lower than uh United States or maybe Australia United Kingdom
40:24
is kind of unique in that aspect they have higher tuition fees than uh the
40:29
other parts of Europe like France Italy um and Germany but they also also have U
40:37
more kind of more uh scholarships as well so in Germany Germany is quite um
40:43
unique in this aspect um public universities do not charge any tuition
40:48
fee so it's free education now this looks like a scholarship free tuition at Technical University of dresen but like
40:56
it's all so like more than a more than a scholarship it's just uh free education
41:03
and there are no tuitions if you go click and click at the University and go see the University's page you will see
41:10
um it's just like T tuition fee is free it's just free so in a lot of German
41:16
universities the only thing you will need to worry about will be uh your living costs your rent and etc etc which
41:23
can be something between €700 to ,000 um according to the University's
41:29
estimates universities usually German universities usually are very uh deliberate on that like they give you
41:36
very specific um living cost estimations like from what you will
41:42
probably be spending on rent to other like groceries etc etc so this is one of
41:48
those Technical University of treson it's a good University in Germany um
41:53
it's full tuition meaning it covers your tuition fees you don't don't pay tuition fees so that's it's very straightforward
42:01
um we have deadlines here no subjects no specific nationalities doesn't
42:07
matter and you don't apply for anything by the way also there is not that uh like will I get this scholarship or not
42:14
uh if you're admitted to the university you just don't pay tuition fees it's not like uh you might be admitted to the
42:20
university and then don't get this that's that's not something that happens
42:25
so we have some eligibility criteria not in secondary study course not taking remote study course and not taking
42:32
special courses so we have deadline here and etc etc now when you see the
42:40
university one thing that might uh you might notice is that they only have one
42:47
scholarship as I said since they give you basically free education usually
42:52
German universities do not uh offer any additional scholarships as just said you
42:58
get free education so yeah um but you have like
43:03
institutional um scholarships let me show you something so when you go to
43:09
guide no scholarships uh you will see popular government scholarships and Germany has one of the
43:17
most popular government Scholarships in the world which is called Dad a lot of
43:22
people are interested this as you can see we have like 24 comments in our page
43:27
um it's a very comprehensive very good scholarship in a country that basically
43:33
offers you free education so like if you can get an additional scholarship it
43:38
will help you quite a lot considering you will have to pay something between 30,000 to
43:44
$60,000 just to get education in United States this might be very very helpful I
43:51
also have like a couple of friends studying in Germany usually they they just get a job maybe a part-time job or
43:59
something and it's just that that's it like you don't have to pay extremely high amounts of money to the university
44:06
and you get a pretty good quality education so let's see the university a
44:12
little bit like where the university is what it looks like um Technical University of Dresden usually Anyan kind
44:19
of um correct me on this but like usually when I see people who want to go
44:25
and study in Germany it's it's not like um they want to go and study in a specific um city in a specific
44:33
University in a specific program maybe they're interested in like engineering and Etc like they have a vague program
44:40
in mind but they usually just want to go and study in Germany like that's my
44:45
observation uh just I would like to study in Germany says P yeah that's that's pretty much it like people want
44:51
to study in Germany have a very broad idea of like wanting to go and study in
44:56
German correct me if I'm wrong on this
45:02
Aman um yeah generally people don't have any
45:07
Universities in mind but I don't think it's exclusive to
45:13
Germany uh it's for most countries where people just want to study in the country
45:19
but they don't know what university they want to apply to or what specific program they want to apply to they have
45:26
like three four programs in mind um yeah so I'm not sure if it's
45:33
exclusive to Germany but it's definitely a thing in general yes yeah like maybe
45:40
it's that like um there are a lot of people want to go and study in Germany uh but like for example a lot of people
45:48
know very specific universities in the United States uh like they like
45:54
universities in the United States are very famous like they're very well known maybe it's not like that like it's also
46:00
like that in uh Japan and South Korea too but in Germany like you don't you
46:06
don't see a lot of people naming universities all that often so yeah uh
46:12
it's a good University um you can just it's in Dron it's kind of close to how did I mess
46:19
that up it was copy paste how did I paste it wrong okay never mind so it
46:26
it's it's here close to czechia and Poland so Eastern side of the Germany um so this is oh no hang
46:35
on yeah this is the University if you're interested in German language also Germany is a good opportunity for study
46:42
your Bachelor yeah they like in general have a high um high quality of Education
46:50
um I have more than a couple of friends who went there like it's not extremely
46:56
difficult for example people going from I would classify turkey as an Eastern um
47:03
higher I think uh dasham I'm not sure how to pronounce
47:10
your name is it dasham Tash is that how it's pronounced
47:17
could you like give me uh like guide on
47:23
that so um what was I saying yeah I would classify turkey as kind of like an
47:30
Eastern uh country so like there are a lot of things that are very different to Germany uh hi there dasam um welcome to
47:39
live stream to our live stream so uh but like it's not like it's not extremely
47:44
difficult uh so like none of my friends had a lot of difficulties about just
47:49
like going adapting being able to live there so yeah language might be
47:55
something to keep in mind it's it's kind of a difficult language so yes this is
48:01
what the university looks like it's a good University and that's pretty much it not
48:08
much else to say about this it's a good University you go um English is English a English is
48:16
not my first language uh I'm Turkish I'm from Turkey even though there are some
48:21
people in the chat that uh insist that I'm from Tunisia no I'm from
48:28
Turkey so yeah this is how like this is very again just like financial aid was
48:35
very typical of the scholarships that you will find in the United States uh free tuition is very typical of the
48:41
scholarships that you will find in Germany so uh just free tuition like you
48:49
pay about €300 every semester though keep that in
48:54
mind um which is about which comes to like 600 uh every year uh which is not
49:02
that expensive compared to I know $50,000 in United States so yeah well
49:09
that's pretty much it um these are like couple of different
49:14
types of scholarships um that are open right now for application um dasham
49:22
welcome to the live stream but do you have any questions or like do you want to ask anything because otherwise um if
49:29
you don't have any other questions in general guys will be kind of ending the live stream is I heard so much people in
49:35
Germany Turkish students I guess yeah there are a lot of people going a lot of Turkish people going to Germany um
49:43
because there are already a lot of people in Turkish people in Germany um
49:48
like there was there was a I got one okay I'm waiting for that question T now
49:54
so um in s I believe um a lot of Turkish
49:59
labors uh workers immigrated to Germany like Germany was looking for um workers
50:06
so like there's a huge population of Turkish people in Germany already and like kind of there is like an also a
50:13
relationship between Germany and Turkey um kind of like a close relationship even though countries and cultures are
50:20
so so much different so different than each other um yeah so it is is one of
50:27
the first places a Turkish student college student will want to go um maybe
50:34
behind United States so yeah there were a lot of people in ger Turkish people in
50:39
Germany um like most people I know who went to went abroad to study U they went
50:47
to Germany which kind of makes sense if you think about it like it has a very high
50:52
level of Education it's kind of close um not that expensive I joined here late so
50:58
I don't really know what you said about but I know you can guide me
51:04
I'm 17 and going to graduate in 25 if you
51:09
have specific questions I want to be electrical engineer what advice can you give me I'm a civil engineer in my
51:16
freshman year says roach in my skin my English is all right and and I'm not and
51:26
I'm con considering on studying abroad what are your recommendations so we have
51:31
two questions that are kind of similar um so first let's go for
51:37
dasham um you want to be an electrical engineer GPA is three well if your GPA
51:45
is 3 you're first of all like if you can get it high like up to 3.5 or something
51:51
it's it will be great um because otherwise Merit Scholarships might be a little bit difficult to get
51:57
and if you want to be an electrical engineer electric
52:04
engineer you can use our Search tool to see like if you maybe you have a
52:10
specific country in mind and like there are a lot of yeah electrical
52:15
engineering uh you can choose the country this one for example is in Singapore it's a really good scholarship
52:22
Science and Technology undergraduate scholarship and where are you
52:28
from H that has specific countries though not every nationality is eligible
52:34
so you might want to look at look at how comprehensive this is it gives you a selling in Award of $200 Singaporean
52:41
dollars living stien a one-time computer allowance 100% of tuition fees a runt
52:47
trip plane annual Encompass accommodation ET it gives you so much so if you can give us a tiny bit more
52:54
information about like where you want to study and Etc uh we might be able to you're from Mongolia hang on was it is
53:01
Mongolia here yeah it is so you can apply to this if you want to study in
53:07
Singapore um like scholarships being more specific I think is always better
53:13
because like it kind of Narrows down filters a lot of uh potential competitors hey can you
53:21
suggest some country where bank statement isn't required for students I'll get back to in a second David so um
53:31
what advice can you give me I'm a civil engineer in my freshman year maybe the
53:36
states or Western you I'm Turkish um so are you looking for RO Roes in my skin
53:43
uh just let me know are you looking for a scholarship that uh you can apply to a
53:50
as you are like as a freshman student for your second uh year or something
53:56
or um maybe you want to transfer to another University or do you want to
54:02
leave the university and apply to another University as a freshman student once again like a first year student and
54:09
then uh get a scholarship because those are very different things I think aan
54:14
can give you a better idea in Turkey how does get in the college or university so you want to continue your
54:21
second year abroad so you want to get a scholarship as a transfer student
54:27
um so em I've seen your question hang on a second so you want to be a transfer
54:33
student you want to transfer to United States or Western e EU um so Aman what
54:40
do you think about this they their English is all right they are freshman
54:45
student in uh turkey they want to transfer to perhaps a university in the
54:51
United State or Western Europe um like what advice can you give them
55:00
um so freshman as in bachelor's
55:05
degree uh I think like since they say they want to continue second year abroad
55:11
I think it's fresman univers I believe so yes so in the United States there are
55:18
definitely scholarships for transfer students and it's a a separate section
55:25
on the University's website it so you need to look at universities that offer scholarships for transfer
55:31
students um that's the only way you can get
55:37
scholarships as a second year student so you're not there are scholarships that are offered to current students which
55:43
means students who are actually studying at the University um and there are scholarships
55:50
for incoming International students which means that first time uh first year freshman students and then there
55:56
are scholarships for transfer students which you would be interested in so you should be looking for that and you can
56:05
go from there so I'm not sure about Eastern Europe but or Western Europe uh
56:12
but uh for the United States there are definitely scholarships for transfer
56:17
students okay thank you very much IM you can look at at that link that's the link
56:23
for this search results these are all the scholarships for masters that we have in hang on I need to um solve a
56:30
little puzzle so my live stream won't end um yeah you can look into those
56:36
David asks a very specific question can you suggest some country where bank statement isn't required for student
56:43
visa do we do you know any
56:48
aen um I don't think there are any uh if you need a visa you would need proof of
56:55
uh your financial situation I don't know of any country that just doesn't require that uh most
57:05
countries require a blocked account and others require a proof of fund so either
57:11
way you would need to prove uh that you have enough funds to
57:17
support yourself during your stay at the country unless you have a fully funded
57:23
scholarship which means that whichever body that granted you the
57:29
scholarship will be in charge of your finances in that case you don't really need to improve
57:36
anything okay thank you very much so hang on poo asked in Turkey how does get
57:41
in the college or university so basically you go through your high school education four years ah hang on
57:49
that's changed though um I don't know there are Central uh tests that you go
57:55
through I think like first it was one just one test and then it was uh like two tests at the end and
58:04
there there was every year for the second and third year right now I'm not sure I think like there is but there is
58:10
a central test I think it's at at the end of the high school and then uh you
58:17
like based on the score you get you can apply to universities and they pick
58:24
according to uh the highest scores all right thanks for the info I'll do my research have a great rest of your
58:31
stream thank you very much um also keep in touch you might want to go to our YouTube channel we share a lot of like
58:37
open scholarships and Etc how to study in this country and that country blah blah blah
58:45
um yeah so Ahmed asks well says actually
58:50
I'm Egyptian and I'm studying medical engineering in turkey and I want to leave there and I want to start in
58:57
us um I don't blame you like pretty much every University student in Turkey I
59:03
guess would want to do the same thing so I don't really like I don't think we have a specific um advice that we could
59:10
give you since you will just start yeah like if you are planning to start from zero uh like it will be just you will
59:19
just be a firste student so like if you are if you want to uh study the same thing in the United
59:26
States you can just uh let's say what is it medical engineering can just medical
59:34
engineering this is the subject right let's use all of our tools uh filters why not so
59:42
Bachelors let's choose Bachelors I failed to do that great
59:47
mechanical engineering oh did I did I read that wrong no okay sorry um
59:54
mechanical yeah mechanical engineering uh let's say
1:00:00
United States okay so these are the
1:00:07
scholarships you have available the first ones are usually the one that
1:00:12
mentioned mechanical engineering specifically this is partial funding for example um you might also filter
1:00:21
for um sorry
1:00:26
so let's choose Egypt but now it kind of it's kind of
1:00:32
broken uh you cannot filter for both nationality and subject because it
1:00:38
breaks the source tool I'm
1:00:43
afraid right uh Bachelor so for all
1:00:49
nationalities there are 900 when I add Egypt becomes more than a
1:00:57
thousand I'm not sure how that's possible that shouldn't be possible um so yeah most of them do not have
1:01:04
specific nationalities so you can look at any of these you can also filter for let's say um full funding but if you
1:01:12
filter for full funding uh most you will see will be like financial aids financial aid need-based financial aid
1:01:19
International Financial Aid we've talked too much already on financial aid
1:01:25
scholarships uh in this live stream basically uh they give you a a
1:01:32
scholarship based on your specific financial situation so other than that
1:01:37
not much to say because like if you are clearly your plan is to just leave your
1:01:44
education that you have right now the school and the program and start as a
1:01:51
first year student which kind of makes you just a first year student uh it's pretty much the same as any other first
1:01:57
year student there are a couple of differences I believe like I think there are a couple of scholarships and
1:02:03
universities very very very few I believe uh that will not accept a few if
1:02:10
this is not your first program I'm not sure Aman what do you think like are there any a lot of
1:02:16
differences uh starting as a first year student after uh uh leaving another
1:02:22
program or not I imagine
1:02:28
not yeah I don't think so there there are no actual
1:02:33
differences can I check business yeah you can check in Business Administration why
1:02:45
not yeah it's just you you're basically a first year student uh you didn't have to uh tell me how much you
1:02:54
want to leave my country but it's fine I kind of understand your
1:03:00
pain what do you think city of London University
1:03:07
um city of London University is that a university or are
1:03:13
you I don't think that's a university is that a university or are you asking for
1:03:18
like uh universities in
1:03:23
London okay I don't think that's that's a university that is in our database
1:03:29
um Aman do you know a school called city of London University I only know the University of
1:03:36
London but that's that's
1:03:43
C City University we have something called City University of London and St
1:03:48
George University of London okay so this is the page
1:03:56
um is this what you're asking about uh the person without
1:04:02
name you're full of mysteries today uh okay so this
1:04:08
is I think you might already have an idea on how much information we have on
1:04:13
this school City University let me search it
1:04:19
as just City University we do have it in our database
1:04:31
okay so so what do you think about
1:04:37
that H yeah here it is sorry the name kind of threw us off a
1:04:44
little bit so this is the school they have many scholarships eight
1:04:51
scholarships tuition 18,000 it's kind of normal for
1:04:58
London um some scholarships so for undergrads one
1:05:04
partial another partial um keep in mind London is
1:05:10
extremely extremely expensive uh my cousin lives there and everything
1:05:16
everything costs money everything is expensive like the moment you breathe you have to pay the city or something
1:05:22
Soul Behavior scholarship so Soul behaviors here's a full funding but it's for PhD
1:05:29
another full funding Masters in PhD David I I see your question I'm waiting
1:05:34
for you to finish it partial funding partial so a Aman what do you think
1:05:40
about this University like can you give them any
1:05:47
insights um in terms of what I'm not sure what kind of insights they're looking for
1:05:54
yeah can you give us a little bit more information like what angle are we asking foran says I live in Turkey but I don't
1:06:02
I don't know how to speak you don't know how to speak Turkish because that would be difficult in Turkey um not a lot of
1:06:09
people know how to speak English in Turkey uh like that must be really
1:06:15
painful do you have a question Aisha uh maybe we can help you with that David says management information system
1:06:22
business information system cyber security management BBA Bachelor of investment management Supply Chain
1:06:28
management focus with it business or these subjects have enough scholarship in Europe at undergraduate
1:06:36
program H now like you might want to look at
1:06:43
Netherlands because if you see like there are a couple of scholarships in Netherland in general um Europe does not
1:06:51
have that many scholarships um so like the your best
1:06:56
bet would be just go to our page use our search Tool uh search for those uh maybe
1:07:03
search for countries that might be your best idea I'm not sure if aan has
1:07:10
information specifically on those programs and whether they have a lot of
1:07:15
scholarships um also you you said enough I'm not sure what your um
1:07:23
criteria is for enough uh there are scholarships that offer for every program that the university offers
1:07:30
but like maybe if you have anything more specific about the country about the university um Aman do you want to say
1:07:37
anything about this like can I think you can read the question right um yes I
1:07:42
think the short answer is just no as you said there there there aren't
1:07:48
many Scholarships in Europe as education is already affordable other than the UK
1:07:56
which I no longer consider part of Europe uh I mean it is geographically
1:08:03
but other than that it's it's no longer uh part of it at least
1:08:11
politically uh since brexit anyways uh
1:08:16
the point is education is already affordable enough like you pay a
1:08:22
contribution of uh 80 to probably 200
1:08:29
EUR per semester which is very very affordable um you just have to have the
1:08:38
means to support yourself yes during the time you study there um there aren't
1:08:45
many scholarships even partial ones they're quite rare uh so if you really
1:08:52
want scholarships you need to apply for governmental scholarships offered
1:08:58
by the governments of European countries uh mainly France
1:09:06
Switzerland uh the Netherlands so if you want to see
1:09:11
government scholarships you can just go to Global scholarships under the scholarship
1:09:16
scholarship section we have popular government scholarships you can just click on these and see more uh like what
1:09:23
whichever you are interested in in Europe sorry for interrupting you am if you want to go
1:09:29
on uh no no worries yes so they the last country I wanted to mention was Germany
1:09:34
and you already mentioned that at the a yes so this one okay thank you very much
1:09:40
Aman now um let's go I live in no okay first Anish asks I
1:09:46
want to find USA college scholarship so you're in Turkey um you want to go to USA pretty
1:09:54
much the same with Ahmed who said who asks I told you how how can accept take
1:10:01
accept in mechanical engineering in USA so basically uh you can use our Search
1:10:07
tool to find scholarships uh but again let me just give you one example on how
1:10:14
it works let's let me show you very quickly financial aid which is one of
1:10:21
the uh most common scholarships that you will see in uh United States for Bachelors so
1:10:30
basically you can just hang on you can just go type in United States here and see all the scholarships different
1:10:37
scholarships have different criteria uh different Target or Target let's say
1:10:43
targets uh so there are need-based scholarships there are Merit based
1:10:48
scholarships so Merit based scholarships obviously they depend on your uh like
1:10:54
your scores your like high school GPA etc etc and need-based scholarships as
1:11:01
you can see like this one need-based eight they kind of depend on whether you actually need that scholarship but again
1:11:08
to be able to accept it like admit it to the university you still have to have like good grades and etc etc so yeah
1:11:16
this is um if you want to see like what you can do to get
1:11:21
scholarships in United States you can just go to our website guides
1:11:29
oops go to study in the United States and see is the see these um
1:11:38
guides see about the financing your situ uh studies applying for scholarships how
1:11:44
to profile have to file a CSS profile etc etc uh like it's very
1:11:50
broad um like I don't think there would be a lot of things to say about like in
1:11:55
general have to find Scholarships in uh United States Aman do you want to say anything it's kind of a broad subject at
1:12:01
this point because they want to just uh leave their education in Turkey I think that what Aisha also wants to do and
1:12:09
just go find Scholarships in United States for undergraduate students do you want to say anything about
1:12:17
that um yeah as you mentioned it's quite the broad
1:12:24
subject but uh it's really hard to narrow it down because it's quite a
1:12:29
process um and you're leaving from one country to another maybe they're already
1:12:36
an international student right now I'm not sure if they're domestic or International right now but it it's
1:12:44
quite the process is not really straightforward
1:12:49
um I also don't know their their timeline here if they want to do this
1:12:55
immediately if this is something they want to pursue next year because uh fall
1:13:01
admissions have already passed uh for most universities and for
1:13:06
most scholarships and this is the period where most scholarships are offered so
1:13:12
you probably have to wait until next year around this time uh but the
1:13:20
application would be would start in August so you would probably
1:13:25
uh would have finished by now and you're just waiting for admission
1:13:31
results um it's quite the long process and I think if you want to start just
1:13:38
start right now start preparing everything and uh you should be fine
1:13:43
okay thank you very much um hi dasam um welcome back if you left I found
1:13:50
something crazy but I'm not sure it's legit can you analyze it please okay you tell me what it is perhaps we can so um
1:13:58
our nameless viewer asks I would like to study in there but I am concerned about the quality of the lessons they are
1:14:05
referring to City University City University of London um quality of the
1:14:12
lessons I wouldn't have anything to say about that Aman do you want to say anything about like do you know of the
1:14:21
University not really I mean I wouldn't be able to tell you anything about any specific
1:14:28
University to be honest right uh this just comes down to extensive research
1:14:34
into the university maybe you can uh look on LinkedIn for students who
1:14:41
graduated from that University and then look for the program you're trying to
1:14:47
pursue and then contact those students ask them what their experience was like
1:14:53
would they recommend it because I don't think you can really take any
1:14:59
kind of advice from anyone online just be it us or anyone who writes a review
1:15:06
unless they have been to the university and studied there so I guess the best place is to just look for alumni who has
1:15:15
studied at the University or students who are currently there uh those are the people who can help
1:15:22
you make an informed decision uh when it comes to uh studying at the
1:15:28
University so they could put your mind at ease about the quality of their curriculum or anything you're concerned
1:15:37
about okay thank you very much um
1:15:45
yeah so dasham says I found something crazy but I'm not sure it's a legit can
1:15:50
you analyze it please if you can get it across to me
1:15:55
um I can look into it but we're kind of pushing the limits on our time here so
1:16:03
faster would be better sooner would be better but um all
1:16:11
right I think this this is kind of near the end of our live stream everyone
1:16:16
unless dasham send something very very interesting thank you everyone everybody
1:16:21
for joining us today we are here every Friday for live
1:16:26
streams um on both YouTube and Tik Tok the same hour sorry we come with a couple of
1:16:34
new um scholarships that are available at that point of time open for
1:16:39
application and you can come and ask any questions that you might have in general um Aman is the expert here I'm just a
1:16:46
lowly just lay man uh here to just host the live stream so if you have any
1:16:52
questions you can come and ask like if a lot of our viewers are coming back to
1:16:58
our live streams maybe uh like a week or two later so you can keep in touch
1:17:03
through our live streams other than that we have uh a YouTube channel we share a lot of informative stuff uh we share
1:17:10
things like uh application tutorials scholarship tutorials how to find Scholarships in a specific country uh
1:17:17
for example we started doing I'm not sure if they will do well but like every scholarship in a specific School uh how
1:17:24
to study for free in a spe specific country etc etc also every Monday we
1:17:31
share currently open scholarships we give you like four or five very good scholarships that are available at that
1:17:37
point of time uh they're just one to two minute videos uh very quick um if you're
1:17:43
interested they would help you a lot other than that we don't have anything
1:17:49
else to talk about really for this week um just before ending the live stream
1:17:54
Aman I want to thank you for joining me here today um thank you for having
1:18:02
me okay um thank you everyone for joining if you're watching this on VOD
1:18:07
after the live stream thank you for watching until the end and we'll see you next week at the same day at the same
1:18:14
hour and bye have a nice week
