The former lawyer for the victims of billionaire paedophile and disgraced businessman Jeffrey Epstein has told LBC he "questions everything" following the suicide of one of his victims Virginia Giuffre. Spencer Kuvin told Tom Swarbrick that often the "initial story is not the truth". Guiffre, 41, was found at her farm in Neergabby, Australia, where she had been living for the past few years. She sued Prince Andrew for sexual abuse back in August 2021 - she claimed the Duke of York had sex with her when she was 17 and had been trafficked by Epstein. Ms Giuffre and Andrew reached an out-of-court settlement in March 2022. On Monday, Mr Kuvin said: "Statistics and research shows there is a much higher incident rate of suicide among childhood abuse victims, sexual abuse victims particularly. "It would not be surprisng unfortunately if she ended up taking her life. "What I would also say though is that with that case of Jeffrey Epstein and all of the people within his orbit, "It just requires a certain amount of introspection and investigation to make sure that this was in fact what people are saying it is. "I question everything and anything that has gone on in this case for many years because often times what we've found is that the initial story is not the truth.
