So basically I decided that whilst I work really, really hard, I wanted to play as hard and go on what I call like side quests

We were basically shooting from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. every night in Las Vegas for 10 days

we were all kind of like in our own little world and I basically realised

you don't really need sleep you're fine you fine well I actually been watching your new series Lucky it absolutely brilliant and I been thinking Lucky could do with a nice relaxing evening I can say what so small

Yes. But I think what was so fun about it is I've been lucky enough to do a couple of action movies

No, I think I tend to go for, I'm quite earnest in my real life and so I tend to go for honesty

and that does actually get you really far. I learned that when I was young, I was always really honest with my parents and it meant

that I got away with everything because I had the blanket of I was honest about it It didn even occur to me to do that Yeah sorry I cut you off What were you going to say My mum used to do the thing where she go she know the truth already and be like

Without giving too much away, there are times in the series you're really rooting for Lucky

but there's others where you feel a bit conflicted about being on her side

is that a challenge to make Lucky likeable? I think that's only really a question that's ever asked of women

and I think that was part of what I enjoyed about this character

because centrally I do believe that Lucky is a good person but she has this incredible ability to get by, survive and technically thrive

based on the misery of others and she has to use that sometimes in order to to benefit herself but she is morally conflicted

i love being able to shape how something will feel for the audience because there's so many

different cues when you're acting which i adore you're just not let in on as many parts of the

decision making process and so that feels really stressful as dangerous as she is every person's

lucky it's not going to go the way you think it will I absolutely loved a lot of the fighting and action scenes

And it wasn't like the usual Hollywood big sound effects over the top

It felt very real, sometimes almost quiet. You've got an amazing background in ballet

Does that help with the choreographies? Is it the same sort of plie, punch? So much other than sometimes when I'm learning a piece of choreography

um no I I love it so much and actually ballet really helps me in general with a scene because
