TP-Link launched the Tapo DL130 smart lock on Amazon on June 8, 2026, introducing touch-free palm vein recognition to consumer home security. The TP-Link Tapo DL130 uses near-infrared palm vein recognition and carries BHMA Grade 2 certification.
It integrates with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Samsung SmartThings, and supports fingerprint, app control, PIN codes, Bluetooth, voice assistants, and a physical key. Locally encrypted biometric storage and failed-attempt protection support secure access.
A built-in door sensor enables automatic locking, while the Tapo app provides remote lock control, status checks, alerts, activity logs, and permission management. A dual-battery system offers up to one year of operation, with backup power and USB‑C emergency input; MSRP is $229.99.
