'Thank you for making GB News Britain's number one news channel!', says Patrick Christys

I want to say a big thank you. You have made GB News the Number One News Channel in the country! We have overtaken the BBC for the first time! And Sky News is now a distant third!You know when we first started, people used to laugh at us about ratings. They'd say: Nobody watches GB News!They'd say to me: Oh you don't work for GB News do you?!Well yeh, I do, I bloody love it and I'm flipping proud of it! And now we're number one so you can stick that in your pipe and smoke it!There is an army out there, a peoples army, who have had enough of the status quo, had enough of being lied to be the establishment media and had enough of being talked down to.I think one of the really special things about GB News is that when you turn the TV on there's a good chance you'll see someone just like you, on the TV, doing the news, and you'll feel as though your views are represented.Thank you to everyone behind the scenes who works incredibly hard.Thank you to the bosses...for putting up with me for the last few years because I haven't always made it easy for them!But most importantly, Thank you to everyone who tunes in, from the people who were here right at the start, those who have it on all day in every room of their house, or the people who've only just joined us. I promise that we'll keep fighting for you!
