[Music] hello everybody and it's a huge big welcome
0:14
to think just mut myself there unmuting myself um hope you're well loads and loads of people here which is always
0:20
fantastic uh lots of regulars as well um so just a couple of housekeeping things
0:26
as always before we get started um uh if you have a question remember just write
0:32
the word question IDE in capital letters because that makes it easiest for me to
0:38
see uh amongst all the chat Etc um and I wanted to do a bit of couple of
0:44
follow-ups from last week so you remember last week I spoke a little bit about how we were back from the group
0:50
Cruise so this here is um hopefully you can see no it's not coming up anyway
0:56
it's supposed to come up but it's not coming up um you should have come up with the picture of the group Cru there
1:01
we go uh they eventually appeared the shy Souls that they are um so that was most of our the group Cruise gang now I
1:09
I mentioned last week that we had uh various Raffles and prizes and some of
1:14
the prizes were the cruise Maps like behind me so and a couple people I mentioned there that we had an exclusive
1:20
One of a Kind only Cruise map made so uh I thought I would actually show you that
1:26
so I think I showed you that last week that was sort of the digital version with the logo there so Jim and Chris actually won
1:32
it so very nice because they also have some of my merchandise there H they've now received it and they've got it hanging up in their recently renovated
1:40
sort of kitchen area so it looks pretty cool that just remind if you ever interested in Cruise Maps if you do the
1:46
cruise maps.com TFT uh you get 10% off thanks to Will and Matt so it was great
1:52
um that that arrived uh the other thing uh just talking about merchandise is one of the big hits when I was on the group
1:59
Cruise were those uh bears at the very top there um they're out of stock so but
2:04
I've now got a little dog version if you're ever interested in that tips of Travelers SL doog two weeks today I will
2:11
be flying off to Santiago for my next trip which is an anarctica trip um my
2:17
third time down to Antarctica probably my last time before I completely bankrupt myself I'm very excited that's
2:23
the tiny so you go to Santiago um up here which is where you kind of huddle then there's a charter flight which goes
2:29
down to PTO William which is still in Chile um then we're going to Forkland to
2:34
South Georgia which I'm beside myself excited to revisit Elephant Island and and back so it's an 18 night just remind
2:42
that um what I do when I'm on those is obviously post like Instagram stories um
2:48
uh so that's a good place to kind of follow as well and also what I do is I post um updates either video or uh posts
2:56
to on my channel members and patrons as well so just bear in the mind I'll obviously talk a little bit more next
3:01
week about the cruise and the various plans on that so all that said let's get stuck
3:07
into the questions there was a couple of questions that popped in uh even before we started getting in early so maybe
3:13
I'll tackle those first and then I will um say hell as we go through uh so Tracy
3:18
had asked the question asked us a lot um am I planning to go on an Explorer
3:24
Journey's Cruise um you'd love me to give my opinion um I'm only going next
3:29
year I think I booked in April next year and it's just because I plan my cruiser so far out in advance like I just booked
3:36
a couple into 2026 already so that's the earliest that I would go I'm also sort of going on Explorer 2 um so that when
3:43
that comes out and I'm doing like a Barcelona Canary Island so I'm looking forward to that next year I'm trying a
3:49
couple of the new lines so I'm also in February I'm doing the crystal trying Crystal they revamped Crystal because a
3:56
lot of people ask me about that trying like the new silver sea ship silver NOA and so on a lot of those are sort of repositioning cruises is one way of
4:03
making them more affordable Leslie W have you ever struck Visa or passport
4:08
complications combining crine excusions with s ports like Shanghai um the short answer LLY is no obviously heading to
4:16
China you need the Visa you need to get an advance you won't be able to board the ship anyway without a Visa um and I've had no problem so we for example
4:23
when we last to Shanghai which I guess was well before pandemic days we did self- exloring um but you know going
4:30
through passport control and with all your visas is that's all sorted so no issues at all I'll face that next year
4:35
actually because I'll be going to China on that um that Crystal one that I was talking about which I'm very excited
4:41
that's one of the reasons I chose it a repositioning as a reposition from Tokyo but they going VI Shanghai there's not that many cruises uh going to Shanghai
4:49
as they were pre- pandemic so looking forward to that Chris um been following
4:55
the Gat and lake levels uh which look like they're kind of rising uh so be good the uh the canal in December so
5:02
yeah Chris I remember you going on the um the across the Panama Canal um so
5:09
that's I'm doing that in December on uh p on uh region grander that is one that
5:14
marks coming but CH have a so that's very good news about that by the way so I actually saw there was there was a a
5:20
release today by the Panama Canal Authority not today this week which said
5:25
next year they have I think 244
5:31
transits booked by cruise ships um a lot of those are obviously reposition cruises as they move between Alaska and
5:38
the Caribbean 244 is what they have booked so Chris has a question around
5:44
our space here because I think it only limits amount that you can do there what is the best land to you recommend in Panama I know you can go and see the
5:51
Gaton Lakes locks uh Chris one of the things if you're doing the transit um
5:56
and you do actually have an Excursion option I would actually recommend there's a very great Excursion into the
6:02
rainforest where you you go through the old Panama what it's called now like a town which used to when the US used to
6:09
run the whole Peno Canal there was a little town there which has now been converted more to local um you know
6:16
buildings and workshops and things but you go through there and then you do a great one of those um little carriages
6:22
that take you up over the top of the rainforest you can get to walk through the rainforest uh it's really cool so
6:28
that that's what I would uh that's what I would actually recommend um it's a really great one um you can also get
6:35
some excursions to go and see the new locks there a viewing plat area on the new locks I was looking at that um
6:42
because actually I have we've got the the group Cru in 26 are going to the
6:48
Panama Canal but I'm actually going through the Panama Canal again in April I'll talk about that another time um so
6:55
uh you know what what's happening and on that so um I got slight distracted this
7:01
so the call was coming up just trying to turn down um but but that was what I really remember sorry I was talking
7:07
about the the new lake so um the new locks so you can go and see the new locks but the reviews were very um bad
7:15
of the viewing center for the new locks so keep an eye on that um because that would be really inter because obviously
7:21
you then get to see the new locks as well uh Mike um asking the question as Cru seem to continually raise gratuities
7:29
do you believe 100% of the gruty goes to the intended Personnel is the house cut taken is there another Revenue stream so
7:35
Mike I get asked this quite often it's quite hard to get a straight answer from anybody but basically I do talk about
7:40
gratuities in last week's video which people don't understand really that gratuities have become the buffer uh for
7:48
Cruise Line uh salaries that they give the crew in most cases so they'll
7:55
normally tell the crew when they come board to the contracts you'll earn let's say a hundred but part of that 100 is
8:01
made up by the gratuiti so uh you know the gratuiti you're paying is basically
8:06
getting them the wage that they're expecting so it's not really a bonus if you like it's not on top of what they get that's the case on most cases um so
8:15
uh you know it may be that in the whole pot of things there there's a mix within that there but they don't report it as a
8:21
separate line item so we don't really know but it's really important to bear in mind that gratuity is increasingly
8:28
not a bonus for the crew it makes up the salary they're expecting to get that's really kind of important to understand
8:36
Steve how good to see you Steve um I think you were driving last week so we had no questions for you if I remember
8:41
correctly um on your last Antarctica trip they Dr do drove into the ice so
8:48
you could go exploring is that a p thing with a Chance your upcoming uh silver sea will do that assuming conditions and
8:54
Hell strength so a couple of things um so it's not a ponant thing specifically
9:00
I have seen some other lines do it like Seaborn for example I don't know whether
9:06
it's a silvery thing or not now one of the things that because we're going right at the beginning of the season and
9:12
there's a lot of ice so the Ice is very you know lot a lot of the bays are smaller than they are lateer in the
9:18
season because there's a lot of ice which is you know sort of extending out so probably there's more ice an is is
9:24
kind of stronger so be interested to see whether um silver sea do that or not but it's not upon on thing it other lines
9:31
have done it and I've seen lots of pictures um and some of the promotional material that uh cbor issued for their
9:39
uh Venture and pursuit show them doing that um de asking the question what type
9:46
or style of luggage do you use I wonder if I should do more on my luggage because I've been asked this a couple of times uh I was asked this actually I
9:52
think on the group cruise and uh other so I'm a huge fan of a brand called away
9:59
so they started I think originally as sort of one of those um uh you know startup uh you know you know you kind of
10:07
I it's it's G on my my it's gone from my head uh Kickstarter kind of thing so you
10:13
you know and it came out of that so they're incredibly robust really strong and also but very light so I have um a
10:21
like a carry-on away bag which is fantastic then I have a medium one and I also have a large one so um I'm a
10:28
massive fan of away so it's literally called away they used used to only be able to buy them online they do have some shops like they have one shop in
10:35
London and a few places they do have some rock sacks and things I I don't actually have one of their Rock sacks I have another rock sack which actually
10:41
came across um I on Instagram the brand but it's just very good it's slightly padded because I take L of my cameras in
10:47
there and it's quite big but away is basically uh is is my kind of brand of
10:53
choice Bobby made it for the first time Granite Bay California Mark's here which
10:58
is great to see so Mark I will Mark and Anette I'll will be seeing in a couple of weeks time in fact probably two
11:03
weekends time um because I know that they're going to be uh on that cruise so
11:09
Chris is here um which is great who we showed uh with the map Blues here as
11:15
well oh Debbie is here as well which is great so Debbie is uh is a patron across
11:21
New Zealand way if I remember correctly I think it's New Zealand you're in yeah um at 3:00 a.m. in the morning wow
11:26
Debbie that's a real dedication so Debbie's a been a a great Patron follower for a while and um what's great
11:34
actually um Debbie is one of the people on Patron who will send me messages and questions and lots in to and fr probably
11:39
people don't take advantage of that as much Mark is asking the question Jay and
11:45
I just did our Azamara cruise on onward love the cruise but RAR seeing the ship is getting old particularly in the state
11:51
rooms Furniture is Dreadful will they update so Mark they have made no news
11:57
about that I did see they just recently changed their CEO I can't remember the lady's name who's taken over they
12:03
brought her in from luxury hotel side um and she spoke about how you know once
12:10
she can turn Asar know they were sold by ro Caribbean bought by kind of a private
12:15
Equity kind of setup uh private company um and what she said is when she can turn asamar into profit they will look
12:22
at new builds but she certainly didn't talk about any plans for updates and
12:27
revamps so uh it just be that she didn't mention it or wasn't in the article that I read so there haven't been any
12:33
specific news on that um I guess maybe the clue was when I turn a profit kind of thing so maybe you know that's her
12:40
Focus really is on uh you know building building the line up but that's my perspective so certainly no news on that
12:46
and I I will keep an eye for that I am a lot of people have asked me to go back uh on asamara because I went not long
12:53
after the pandemic and uh they was still kind of struggling and and people feel
12:59
they've got much more into their stride do mind to write the word a question if
13:05
you do have a question so I don't miss it um Andrew I didn't miss it luckily um
13:10
uh excited to learn from you about taking my first cruise to Mediterranean so Andrew what I will do in fact I need
13:16
to write and write a little note for myself as I did last week is I will pop in the show
13:22
notes um I will pop in the show notes some links to two videos around cruising the
13:29
Mediterranean that I have one of which is around how you go around choosing a med cruise and the second is around the
13:36
best ports the ports that you should really focus on so um because it's quite complicated and there's a lot to talk
13:41
about I will put those so if you wait you know maybe four or five minutes after the end of this live stream or you come back tomorrow or whatever you'll
13:47
find those links in the the show notes Francis is here who was on the group Cruz
13:53
Sharon um and ck2 making the point that
13:58
you know that is the buffer uh it's really important to note that which is you know in reality in my personal view
14:05
gruties is just a a um a way of making
14:11
us feel that we're paying a low of fair because in reality it's what it makes up what the crew gets paid and what they
14:17
their contracts say it is our part of our Fair which is why Cru lies you know Auto gr Auto add it or whatever I mean
14:25
it would just be much better if over CR line put it into the fair and and stop playing that game with all look really a
14:31
little bit cheaper I think my personal perspective a PS um I can't actually answer this so if anyone can that would
14:37
be great we're cruising on Seaborn Ovation next year how is Solace we're a little disappointed that they removed
14:42
Thomas Keller so I have not been back on Seaborn since they started rolling up Solace I've seen very mixed views around
14:49
it obviously uh what Seaborn have done for those who don't know is Thomas Keller which is kind of a celebrity chef
14:55
that they partner with they used to have a Thomas Keller restaurant and he would would create various menus AC dishes and
15:01
menus across their other restaurants uh on the ship uh they' sort of taken that out and replace it with their own brand
15:08
uh I guess maybe it's a cost-saving thing maybe it's a control thing I don't know but very mixed views of the moment
15:14
is sort of a mediteran concept so if anyone in here who's been on Solace been on SE and tried Solace please please
15:20
please let PS know ah Neil is uh on cre too great to join in fact someone who
15:26
was on uh Janet who was on the group Cru is that sh on Queen Murray 2 with you um
15:32
she spent a little bit of time in Boston and instead of flying back like we all did Back to the UK those from the UK she
15:39
uh jumped on the queen miror too and she's posting lots of uh stuff on Instagram and Instagram stories uh and
15:45
it looks like you're having a very calm flat Crossing it looks really really rather nice
15:51
um the short answer to this is no um taking virgin v cruise from Miami I only
15:57
have a a backpack can I walk from downtown am to the Virgin Port no it's it's it is actually quite far uh also
16:05
you've got to go through tunnels and things and I don't know whether the pedestrians are allowed for those tunnels I would just get an Uber it's
16:11
not very you know an Uber from downtown Miami won't be that much you probably find this you know depending on the I
16:17
don't know if you're local but a lot of the hotels also will have shuttle buses and things as well um so I would check
16:23
that but I'm pretty sure you can't work because there's a little bit of in Miami you can actually just drive in there's not something how much security as you
16:29
go I think you might struggle to walk in but uh to me it just seems a little bit far uh to walk in because you got to
16:35
walk across those um that sort of bridges and all sorts of things oh wow
16:41
okay so David is here he's sitting with his uncle Seth Goin In Paris next you
16:46
take Community from La Hara to New York first time in Queen girl any suggestions for some special to do or EA in the
16:52
Queens so Seth is somebody who uh I have seen in the past gives talks on I wonder
16:59
is Seth talking on on the ship does amazing talks um on Queen Mary 2 uh on
17:05
on the various kod ships so I don't know whether it's a working trip for Seth or or a a vacation I suspect it's probably
17:12
a working trip so in terms of Queen Grill obviously very nice um they have
17:18
they have a lot of uh you know you obviously they'll have things that you can order there anyway um we've never
17:24
gone particularly Rogue so if you've got a particular thing that you really like um I would so for example uh Mark uh
17:31
can't really have dairy but does like you know desserts and things and has always wanted to have like a baked Alaska so he got them to make kind of a
17:39
vegan based ice cream baked Alaska for him uh the night that they were doing baked Alaska um the other thing that is
17:46
really good although I think they actually have it as standard on the menu is something like crepe cetes is good
17:51
chat Briand is great probably one of the nicest things that they do though David is is the DOA Soul so you you know that
17:59
is actually on the menu so I would actually really focus on the dool it is absolutely magnificent they come at your
18:04
table um so any of those things I do by your table with the Flaming so they they'll do that they'll do duckle range
18:10
uh they'll do the Crepes cets that I mentioned cherries jubilee those are the ones that post come to mind have a great great trip and say hello to
18:18
Seth um Pete this is a bit like how long is a piece of string to be honest uh but
18:25
no that's not talking up Rish I thought you were ask a slightly different question when a ship is in Port overnight what time do you usually have
18:30
to be back on board thanks so Pete um if we're talking ocean ships in most cases
18:36
in fact every time I've been on any ocean ship overnight you can come back any the passengers can come back any
18:43
time you want obviously you need to check that so you can go out out all night raving come stumbling back at 6 o' in the morning 3 o' in the morning or
18:50
whatever or if you want to go what you know eat lat whatever obviously you need to check that on the ship but I in all
18:56
cases um you know even you know when we like we had a couple nights South Africa even on this trip when we overnight in
19:03
Quebec what was interesting though I actually saw though that they had a uh crew had to come back uh I think by 2:
19:10
a.m. when we were in Quebec which is the first time I've seen that normally they're more flexible on crew and I
19:15
always joke often when we got overnights in ports the next day the crew are all bit fuzzy because they've been it's the
19:20
one chance to go out and party and and do stuff on land overnight but generally speaking uh anytime on river cruise
19:28
ships when they're overnight um again it's the same but you normally have to have a code to get in but normally the
19:34
the the both the port security and the uh ship Security will be uh all the time
19:42
so um but obviously you need to to check that uh Steve p is it worth asking for
19:48
an upgrade on the Christmas cre to you can ask but they probably will laugh at you to be honest uh that Queen Mar 2
19:54
christas Cru if you're talking about the one that heads out on the 22nd of December is always sold out um you can
20:01
and also you say you can ask obviously but normally upgrades will be done well before the trip so they can not have
20:07
moved into that bidding system where you will get an email whether there's availability or not with a chance to bid
20:14
to upgrad so they now turn upgrades into a money-making thing they may upgrade some people if they want to shuffle
20:19
people around uh based on status I mean it's definitely worth asking what I would do probably you know worth asking
20:26
what I would probably do though Steve is I would go uh the next morning uh you know the
20:31
first morning and ask if there are any upgrades available if someone hasn't arrived uh for any reason and they've
20:39
actually had to sell with some cabins not full that may be a better chance for that specific Cruise because that is a
20:44
very popular very sold out Cruise it's a fantastic cruise by the way it really is
20:49
uh it is great uh Jacob for Gary or audience good
20:55
as other people might know uh does Norwegian Cruise Line typically only release the Haven bit up cabins only on
21:02
the week of selling since they're preum product no Jacob they will issue those when they issue all the others so
21:07
certainly when I've sailed uh in heaven before uh it's come out you know maybe a
21:13
month before if I remember correctly you know a couple of weeks before but they will come out at the same time because
21:18
they'll also let people who haven't booked Haven uh to bid to go into the Haven as well so uh you know when
21:25
certainly when I went in the Haven or any of them I got those those a couple of weeks before I want to say a month
21:32
before it might be might even be a little bit before that because obviously by that stage they pretty much know what
21:39
what they've what they've what they've solved along the way uh lots of people saying hello Lena Danny real villain uh
21:46
Ken the short answer to the question is no I've got no plans to sell on a Lura for those who don't know Laura is the
21:52
second of the new sort of um uh v o
21:57
Oceana vist it's it's a similar ship I don't have any plans my next oana trip is actually
22:03
on Riviera Christmas 2025 from Sydney to papetti just as an just as an aside um
22:12
if anybody ever wants to know what cruises I've got lined up if you go to my uh blog tipsfor travelers.com
22:21
uh uh you'll see across there a little tab called future Cruisers and there I
22:27
list all the Cruisers that I have currently booked so some you go there you'll see stuff some that I haven't
22:33
spoken about like Cru that I've booked that I'll talk about next week for example um so uh you can also so if you
22:40
ever want to uh keep a tabs on me or you want to see if you're on a cruise you people often drop your saying are you going to be on such and such a cruise
22:46
you can check there and see if I'm going to be on your cruise if you are make sure that you let me know um Amber has there ever been an
22:55
emergency situation on any of your cruises that affected all passengers um Amber there's been a couple but nothing
23:01
l l luckily and touchwood it's any serious we've had a couple of uh we've
23:06
been woken up in the night with some situations where there's been a fire or you know fire alarms um luckily one was
23:14
a small far put out once uh once was a false alarm um have there been any
23:20
others we've never had ones where we've had to uh I've never been on a cruise I've been on 117 cruises so far and T
23:27
would I been on one had never will be on one we've had to actually then go to the uh the must
23:34
station uh the other one we were told St in your cab and wait for uh you know
23:39
information the other one which was quite interesting it's not quite what you're asking but when we
23:45
did the um I guess it was Queen Mary 2 when we were going from
23:51
Sydney up to Dubai um a couple weeks three or four week Cru I think it was four we Cru at that time there was a big
23:57
issue with Pirates so we had to do pirate drills where uh you know they
24:03
would the ship would go all dark and we had to sit in the hallway and they would showing you how they would accelerate the ship and escape and stuff some
24:10
drills around that that affected everybody but it was um it it wasn't a
24:15
real one as you say Jerry saying great to see your group Cruise well yes so it was really really good i' I'm just um
24:22
the edit of the sort of telling the story of the group Cruise just needs a bit of tweaking and stuff uh and then
24:28
that will be out um uh probably the week after next or so I might send it out to
24:33
the people on the group Cru before that um but uh you so it was it was really
24:38
great CHR uh ah good hope you're having a lot good
24:44
time at work and it's not too busy all the way over there in Seattle um Journey with
24:52
Josh J having to live vicariously through you these days as I got a new
24:57
position and cont sorry to hear that hopefully you can get more traveling away um Steve recommending monos uh I
25:06
don't know that brand maybe I do just reminder if you've got a question do uh
25:12
r with question so I don't miss it because otherwise I sort of do end up missing them let's have a look Jean I
25:18
think this is a question we're deciding on next River Cruise we're thinking France or Eastern Europe we're active in
25:24
our mid-60s we like not having an American Centric Cruise do you have a
25:30
recommendation if you don't want an American Centric cruise and you are feeling quite adventurous and you know
25:37
take a look at crossy Europe they are a French line they have I think they cover more ships than anybody they have Fleet
25:43
as biggest Viking but I think they cover more ships I've been on them a couple of times but you need to bear in mind you might be only you know if there's two of
25:51
you I'm guessing you might be only three or four of you English speakers the rest will be French obviously Europeans are
25:57
much better at having English as a second or third language than we are at having another language as our second language but they do have some very
26:03
interesting itineries uh they also although if you're booking from outside they do tend to offer a package with
26:10
excursions um but you could also do do more pick and mix excursions they do have more kind of adventurous excursions
26:17
um so so I would take a look at those I mean the Eastern Europe itinerary there's some I don't ofr the Europe do
26:24
but I've done emeralds uh from uh Budapest uh to Bucharest way um all the
26:32
way to Budapest it goes a little bit further and emerald are quite an more active thing but they are much more
26:37
us-centric the same with Avalon has more active excursions am waterways has more active excursions but they are very the
26:45
the the people on them will tend to be quite um more likely to be from the US
26:50
in reality um but did take a look across Europe and look at the tinies because uh you will
26:57
find them kind of interesting um I've done even a canal barge trip with them
27:03
where there was 15 people and I was the only English speaker uh there was most people spoke English there was one
27:09
couple that didn't speak English at all and that was fantastic um that was really great um let's have a look Paul
27:17
good to see you here Paul I'm going to gothenberg Copenhagen and Christians out
27:22
next summer are any must sighted these ports and is it possible to DIY it's very possible to DIY at all of those I
27:29
would strongly encourage the Hop On Hop off bus uh they go to all the sites I think they're all I can't if there was
27:34
one in Christian stun I think there was if I remember correctly but Hop On Hop of bus will be the way to go in those
27:40
and I pretty I think you'll probably find that you can book those through the cruise line but it's better to not book
27:46
them through the cruise line and book them when you go out because they will just charge you a premium for those in terms of musty sites
27:53
um I would say uh I would just do the hop on uper
27:59
bus it would take you to all the key places um that would be that would be my tip yeah I saw this KB I saw there's
28:06
lots of issues on this so K in the UK um good to see you here just got back from
28:12
our Anthem Cruise bad weather made us miss three ports out of five both of us had Co oh no I'm sorry to hear you've
28:17
got Co that's terrible I'm beginning to lose faith in cruising so really sorry to hear that I did see quite a lot of
28:23
people posting about Anthem really unhappy uh sort of blaming the Captain I
28:28
mean the captain normally would make decisions based on safety so I guess you
28:33
forget about attacking the captain that but it is you know obviously getting into ports is very unpredictable and
28:39
missing three out of five is pretty bad I know people were very very unhappy and sorry that you had co uh hopefully
28:45
that's a a quirk more than anything else I guess um this summer of the Year particularly
28:51
I guess this is sort of in the UK I think it was UK kind of thing you the weather starting to change it's it's not
28:57
great so hopefully you're not feeling too rough with covid uh and you get you know much better you get better really
29:04
quickly um Neil So Neil's asking a question on Facebook um I live stream
29:10
this on LinkedIn and Facebook as well as on YouTube I have the option of doing on
29:16
Instagram but on Instagram it I tried it it's very complicated I have to start doing all things once it goes live so I
29:22
decided not to bother uh Neil anyway we're ke kunas but looking for a premium
29:27
Lu line that offers smaller ships in some different ports of call any suggestions so Neil um I would look it
29:34
depends a bit on budget but I would look at Viking because Viking
29:40
um have a big focus on classical music they have a big focus on enrichment they
29:46
will have a couple of speakers on board at least two a historian and speaker some that's more than that so if you
29:51
like you know that kind of um uh enrichment side their ships are around
29:56
about a thousand um passengers they are quite a bit more expensive they do include some things like beer and wine
30:02
at meals and they if you're looking in the UK uh and if you are in the UK any
30:09
tips of spelling because include if you're in the UK they include gruties they don't in the US um most of the time
30:15
they will include one Excursion so they would be a good one to look at because they're very close the second one I would look at is Oceania um which then
30:23
very focused on more the dining kind of experience they have a little bit enrichment not as strong as um as kunard
30:30
do what you if you're a big dancers so you will you won't get the dancing there so if you are you know uh like the
30:37
ballroom dancing and you like the dressing up side take a look at Fred Olsen again if you're in the UK Fred
30:43
Olsen uh relatively small ships they bought two ships uh from Holland America during the pandemic they're getting very
30:49
good reviews at the moment in fact the video I've got comes out tonight after this might help you as well Neil because
30:55
I talk about the the cruise lines that are getting the best and worst ratings at the moment but Fred alsson if you're
31:00
UK based is another good option because if you like the dressing up side much more formal
31:08
um here we David says Le 46 times to the lectures in French oh very
31:14
goodu um I didn't know that he was a a French could do that in French very
31:21
impressive um com back to my thing about uh of he saying that we're all bad at
31:26
second languages Uh Kevin fruitbat 001 K just SP release voes for 2027 10%
31:35
saving is that normally a good deal or should we wait but risk losing the choice of site so Kevin generally speaking the the best prices that you're
31:42
likely to get is by booking when itineries are launched because the way the cruise ships and cruise lines work
31:49
is through Dynamic pricing so they you as demand grows the prices will go up
31:54
now certainly uh just after the pandemic in the Run of pandemic when demand
31:59
wasn't as great you would sometimes see for some cruises it would start to go down after particularly after the 90-day
32:05
thing however these days uh as you will see in all of the major Cruise Line
32:11
groups are reporting they're selling over 100% capacity so they're filling their ships on most itineraries uh and
32:17
particularly in places like the Caribbean there's a few more exotic ones that aren't filling and some of the you know Ultra Luxury aren't necess selling
32:24
at 100% because they don't want to Discount fairs so generally speaking the best price you going get is when it goes
32:30
uh and as you say you're going to get other things that can choose your suets and crws and stuff so I would definitely
32:35
do that I would track your fairs um I have an article on my blog around Fair tracking tips travis.com fair fair
32:41
tracking Kun not however are really really bad at matching I have had some success in the past getting upgrades but
32:48
lots of people recently when they have seen some fairs going down they haven't booked at the beginning uh kunard not
32:54
really moving uh at all uh bicar did you get special custom
33:00
teddy bears made for your last group cruise I see the cute teddy behind you wearing a shirt with your group Cruise logo oh that's a nice good segue thank
33:05
you so yes what I'll tell you the story of this so yes I did is the short answer so I did get uh I got five bears made
33:14
for the group cruise and as you say with the group Cruise logo when I got to the
33:19
group Cruise uh I'll bring up an image actually when I bring up an image when I
33:26
got to the group Cruise there were only four of these um and what I discovered is Mark along the way had um had sort of
33:34
poined one of those um because they are incredibly cute now um I think at the
33:40
beginning I was mentioning so I the ability to get bears at the moment is out of stock I can't get more Bears um
33:46
but I can get this very cute dog uh with just the Travelers logo on so that you can order at the moment just.com doog
33:54
it's about $20 um at the moment and certainly when the Bears come back in I will definitely bring the Bear get more
34:00
bears and maybe look at a specific logo or something for the Bears the Bears were a huge huge big hit um so I need
34:08
you know I wasn't sure so it looks like I need to do more Bears um so I will do those when they come back in in stock um
34:18
so thanks to that little segue there um so I thought I I thought i' uh have him as like a standard on the make him work
34:25
as it uh let's have a look um sorry doing that I jumped a little bit
34:30
so let's go back down K kunard savings Teddy Bears
34:37
um uh just want to write the word questions so I don't miss anyone but
34:43
Zach I have a Mis chice any tips of traveling with a large group or charters on the ship so I'm guessing what you
34:48
mean is if you're not part of the group or the charter um and this can be very frustrating because uh if it is a very
34:56
large group so I have been on some for examples on a regent Cruise in the Caribbean it's only
35:02
a 400 passenger ship but there was a group of about nearly 200 on it from Forbes and it was a little bit
35:07
frustrating because sometimes some of the venues would be closed because they were doing an event you know we had on
35:12
even on the celebrity Eclipse there was a large um Group by Park West you the
35:17
art people they had some VIP people and most nights they would close off the Sky lounge or many nights have Close Up the
35:23
Sky Lounge which is the nicest Lounge where we want to have our drinks for the group so I don't have any real uh you
35:30
know tips as such unfortunately I mean one of the things I if you want to check out it's hard to find if there's a large
35:35
group there is if you look at a site Cru thefind.com you can sometimes check if
35:41
there like to be if you're booking a cruise you can check there if there's going to be any big Charter or group on
35:46
there uh as a thing what I also do some if I'm going on a cruise if you put the name of the ship and the dates in it
35:53
will show up if there are any group Cruisers so for example if you'd put in a while ago celebrity eclipse and the
36:00
dates of my group Cruise you would have found actually uh you know posts around the fact my group is going to be on
36:06
there now we were only 68 69 people counting me um so you know there wasn't
36:13
um you know we weren't that disruptive but I don't have any real specific tips other than if you find the group are
36:20
intruding I would talk to the the um you know the guess services or the hotel
36:26
director if things are getting a bit out of hand because they can kind of swamp the whole
36:31
event uh good question any surprises or good suggestions for future group cruises
36:38
from the post group Cruise survey so M man 547 across there in Seattle so um
36:46
good point so in terms of the group Cruise survey um any new I think no there was
36:54
anything new uh which was which was good there was more in terms of improving or
37:00
building on things so the the sense um like we had to visit Boston and the meet Boston pre-event so I certainly for the
37:06
Panama I will look at trying to build in some pre Cruise event a couple of suggestions just in terms of managing
37:13
the group dining on the first night perhaps allocating people tables um a
37:18
little bit more um what else was there um I can't
37:24
remember it was more kind of fine-tuning stuff so that was kind of good I dramatically different so lots of little
37:29
suggestions on how I can improve things I'm trying to think if there's anything I missed I feel like I've missed something there oh that was the other
37:35
thing and suggestions that I as well as just doing you know I did we did you
37:40
know we did three meetups uh two of which had quizzes as part of them a Q&A actually maybe building in some more
37:46
thing where I do more talks about something so for example maybe with the Panama Canal I might do a combination of
37:52
quiz and talk around pan Canal something like that so maybe me talking more about
37:57
a topic so that was kind of that's interesting I really thought about that uh Mel T we're looking at an
38:04
article for January 20126 considering hertig grutin or Seaborn heavy C Artic and if so what would be the biggest
38:10
factors to consider increasing so Mel just making a note here so yes I have been to
38:15
Antarctica twice I'm going again in two weeks time as um on Silver SE um so uh
38:23
what I will do m is was a lot to consider so I will do is in the show
38:29
notes um of this live stream I will put some links to some anarctica videos
38:34
where I talk about um you know things you need to know how to choose a cruise line what to take what to consider how
38:40
to choose the itinerary and so on um I will leave you with one or two key things one of which is if you're go to
38:45
an Arctica obviously it is very expensive uh and I would strongly strongly strongly recommend if you
38:51
possibly can afford the time and the money to make sure that you do an itinerary that that goes to the South
38:59
Georgia so I'll bring back up uh the itinery that I'm doing so you want an
39:06
artillery that takes you to South Georgia South Georgia just is rammed P
39:11
of wildlife this is where you're going to see your colonies of 400,000 Penguins so for example we went
39:18
to sandwich Bay sandwich Bay you know 450,000 Penguins the next stop in the
39:23
afternoon there was 250,000 Penguins There Was You Know elephant SE seals all
39:28
sorts of stuff so if you possibly possibly possibly can please you know try and do that so that that's the one
39:35
the one the one tip I I would I would I would uh I would I would add sorry I'm GNA miss
39:40
your um the other thing I would say Mel is just double check the other thing you
39:47
want to make sure is you want to go on a ship that takes 200 or fewer passengers
39:52
to get the maximum amount of Landings so you want to just check on H grutin that
39:57
it's one of the ships because they have different ship sizes but it is one of the ships um that is 200 passengers or
40:04
less because you will have less Landings less outings so Seaborn obviously with
40:10
Pursuit and Venture I'm guessing that's what they do personally I am very uh Pro
40:16
silver SE because I think they have some probably some of the best uh of the
40:22
Expedition teams so that's why I went silver the first time I went Pont which was fantastic uh uh for all sorts of
40:30
reasons and but I'm going back to silvery so I'd strongly suggest you add silvery into that link but soon take a
40:35
look at those videos as I said might be five six minutes after this um they will be in there um Alan I don't have any
40:42
experience with star Clippers um they are very appealing they've approached me many times um asking me if I will go on
40:49
them uh I don't as you know do press trips or free trips so my just be no but I have them on my list to do and I
40:55
really would like to do them and they there ships uh you know look I don't
41:01
want to say basic because that's not what they do I mean they're not as luxurious as some of the other sailing
41:07
ships from what I can see um but they really do look amazing um so I don't have any experience I'm afraid
41:15
um Alisa has a question my team are spoiled they're done Japan and Korea and
41:21
the Mediterranean very nice you are definitely you definitely spoil them we like Port heavy sailings and Hate the
41:27
Caribbean do you have suggestions for a next area to go um so I I do so Lisa I I
41:35
have I'll also put it I'm going to put it in here I'll WR on my list I have a
41:41
video which I will add to the list which is um I can't remember the exact title but it's something like must see place
41:47
it's sort of like a bucket list but I don't like the word bucket list uh for some reason so it's kind of like the
41:52
musty places um the one that came into my head Lisa was South America because
42:00
um they you know particularly from a cultural perspective you get really interesting mix of cultures because
42:06
particularly most of those will go to you know varying countries within South America um I'm guessing if you've done
42:12
like Japan and care you're probably okay with doing two weeks or so kind of cruises there's a whole mixture of those
42:18
also you can combine those for example uh with the Panama Canal Transit potentially um but the South America is
42:25
definitely one I would look at because I think you know there's lots of very uh you know you can they tend to have a lot
42:30
of ports depending if you choose the right itinery uh great cultural stuff sometimes you'll overnight so you can go
42:36
deeper into the countryside for example um that would be that would be probably
42:42
that's the one that sort of came first of all into my head obviously Alaska if you haven't done Alaska that would be another more
42:49
mainstream one with many more options that would be another good one and you might I mean you might want to do the
42:56
oneway trip which goes from seid down to Vancouver kind of thing because they tend to have more kind of ports in there
43:02
and you could if you really want to go more adventurous is do more um Expedition kind of one so in Alaska they
43:09
both htin and uncruise small ship uh do more Expedition ones but have a look at
43:14
that video because I think that might um that might uh that bucket list video
43:20
might help uh Julian hi good to see you here from the group Cru any tips of counting the after effects of phantom r
43:27
on dry land get a cruise I think it's called M BK I'm just settling after a
43:32
fun group Cruise so J was as you said was on the group you know I don't so if
43:37
anyone does have a thing I only ever had it once and it was in my early cruising
43:42
days where I did feel that kind of movement and I don't know any solution so if anybody has a solution for that um
43:50
definitely because that's quite a while after the group Cru that you're still feeling that other people like Heather good to see you Heather um
43:58
caught on Co on two different cruises that's not good um so let's have a look Kevin another
44:07
sorry another sorry question another sorry um I'm probably missing what that
44:13
is but anyway my sister's doing her first cruise this New Year's Eve on Queen Victoria it's only five nights but
44:19
notice it's more expensive than a normal five nights is it worth extra money for having New Year's okay so definitely
44:24
Kevin without you know those Christmas and New Year's cruises are definitely more expensive because demand is so high
44:30
for them so yes it will be significant more expensive they do a great job I mean I've been on uh I only me on Queen
44:36
Mary 2 on New Year's Eve but they do a great party they'll do a special um event know the dinners are normally very
44:42
nice when we've been there they've had like you know streamer things and hats and stuff you know special menu uh big
44:50
balloon drop stuff um so it should be really good fun but you right they are they are pretty
44:57
uh uh constantly uh yes Mark making the point around um the fact that you know
45:03
the hood ships are bigger um and you know you waited short but also you
45:08
because you're only allowed in Antarctica 200 people at any landing at one time it does severely restrict what
45:15
you're doing as well um so uh and also you know what what's
45:20
important like Mark me the point around see what the ships use so for example they will normally only sell with 200
45:26
passengers so they will not sale full so when I've been on some Seaborn ships that actually take some ships that went
45:31
to the Arctic and Antarctica they can carry more but they only carry 200 passengers down there which is quite
45:38
important uh Pete have you ever done the trip from clang port to the Patronis
45:43
Towers yes uh we have although in reality what we we did um but we hadn't
45:49
pre-booked for the Patronus Towers so very important if you haven't pre-booked make sure you if you're going you
45:54
pre-book the tickets um what what we did Pete which is what I'd recommend you do
46:00
is if and I'm pretty sure the Cru will offer it the um quala Loa on your own
46:05
because that way you know you're on their bus out there they have a guide and you have an emergency number if
46:10
you're stuck and you know you don't have to panic about coming back because you know that they will uh they'll keep a
46:15
track of that bus if it's running late or there any problems so we did it on our own so if you so strongly strongly
46:22
recommend you pre-book the Patronis Towers so we went to Patronis Towers it was sold out we couldn't get so we actually went to um there's a
46:30
there's another Tower and I can't remember what it's called it's like an old post office tower thing we jumped in
46:36
a cab because we just Googled that and we went to that Tower and you got great views across qual Lumpa um and then we
46:43
we did lots of stuff on the the undergrounds really easy to use some great markets there but there's definitely enough time and I would
46:48
really strong we were really annoyed that we hadn't been hadn't been more uh more
46:54
um more more organ ized which is unlike me but anyway Heather have you ever
47:00
visited a shipyard yes my daughter is studying abroad in Hamburg and be considering a May worth when we go to visit her oh yeah if you possibly can
47:07
they're fantastic now I've been fortunate enough Heather when I have been to a shipyard is um they were
47:13
always with the cruise line so I've been to see a ke
47:18
laying twice uh and the shipyard I've been to
47:24
see uh silver sea ship been cut in half in another Shipyard and I have been on a tour where
47:32
we oh yes I've been on one two no I've been on three kills actually um so it's
47:37
it's really really fantastic um I've actually been to the Maya worth uh one
47:44
which is really interesting because it's so massive and they build the big ships is the one I'm thinking of um so uh you
47:51
know definitely if you can it's really really good they do you know the the Cruis L we got probably in some of the
47:57
areas like we went right underneath the ships and stuff like that which I don't know whether those tools will do they do
48:02
have some viewing platforms when we some of the Norwegian ships were being built they had some viewing platforms we could
48:07
look down into it and they had various things like markups of the cabins and they explained stuff but also just
48:14
walking through and seeing it was just fantastic so if you can I would uh I would I would go for
48:20
it Ian I didn't know actually by the way your daughter was studying in Germany I didn't know that um Ian what are your
48:25
thoughts on infinite balconies I am not a massive fan of them because I like good oldfashioned balconies um for those
48:31
who don't know infant balconies are particularly On The Edge class ships celebrity other ships have them as well
48:36
with sort of the balconies in your cabin basically has a window that slides down I like a balcony even though I don't use
48:42
a balcony as much as I should um so they are very 5050 um they definitely make your cabin bigger so I guess if you're
48:47
doing like a transatlantic or something they make more sense because you have a bigger thing but I would always choose a balcony even on those ships that have
48:54
them I would always choose a balcony if I possibly can over an infinite balconies Michael ask if I live in
48:59
America now I live in London more bears please um so yeah when they come back in
49:04
stock I will let people know um I just want to write the word
49:11
question so I don't miss it but I didn't miss Dan Danny is getting married on H America Alaska Inside passage conning St
49:16
cre congratulations any tips I mean Danny I'm assuming that you're working with Holland America so either a travel
49:23
agent or whether's working with them so I would just make sure that you're working with the cruise line um and then
49:30
you know and whatever package they're offering you if you're taking people with you Danny um I would make sure that
49:37
you're talking to H America as a group so they do have um some group packages
49:44
uh which throw in various extra perks Beyond just that um uh you know the
49:51
wedding package uh and I can't remember the numbers but I was also looking recently because planning ahead for my
49:56
next grp Cru which is on H America and in they have a thing called Gap points which you get allocated certain points
50:01
that you can allocate versus various things and they do have some packages there if you know so if you're going if
50:07
if you're getting married and maybe I don't know a couple of people you know friends and family are coming with you um uh make sure that you through your
50:14
travel Agia or H America getting that set up as a group because you will get extra uh goodies thrown in Jerry asking
50:21
the question will Mark be uh on a live in the future hopefully yes um I haven't
50:27
seen Mark for about a month now so I was off of my group Cruz he's been away on
50:33
holiday uh so there just an overlap he actually comes back tomorrow which is why we're doing the live stream today
50:40
because he rises back from Vegas uh 3:30 in the afternoon so I'm going to go and fetch him from the airport him and his
50:46
uh friend Graham he's on holiday with um that's why we that's real that's the only reason we're not doing the live
50:51
tomorrow by the way so yes he will hopefully be now the problem is of course I'm not sure when because uh you
50:57
know I have one more weekend then I'm away for another month off on Silver sea H what we will probably do if we don't
51:03
do before is we obviously on Regent at Christmas time so you know we might do
51:08
some live streams when we're on Regent because I found particularly when we're on cruises together those are the ones that are the most popular because then
51:14
you can get his perspective or my perspective but yes he will be on uh I'm not sure if he'll be Keen coming on next
51:20
weekend but I'll certainly give it a try he might be watching this because the call I was talking about earlier that I if you were here earlier when I refused
51:26
to call um that was that was actually uh him calling because he'd forgotten that
51:32
I was on a live so he might be watching this hello Mark if you're watching um wow this looks like a long one so let's
51:39
see if I can answer it um you had a question about Pio being very strict about insurance will deny boarding if
51:44
you don't need meet their requirement I have family from abroad and they have difficulty to meet those criteria
51:49
minimum 2 millions and cover a pre-existing condition the website says all your guests must have insurance do you think they could deny entry for not
51:56
you could guess we have Cruise insurance but not two millions so Jing obviously uh you know you need to just double
52:04
check with pno so you know don't just take my word for it um what's very
52:09
important is my understanding of the rule that pno have and canot have is that anybody who's booking a cruise uh
52:17
who's a UK resident booking through a UK travel agent falls into that criteria if
52:23
you've booked coming from abroad it's a recommendation however however you should absolutely clarify that with your
52:29
travel agent or P um you know one thing I would say uh which may or not help is
52:35
uh although kunut have the same rule no one ever asked to look at our insurance uh and I've been on kunut a couple of
52:42
time since they have it and have never been asked to show it um so uh but I
52:47
would Absol double check it but it depends where if you book so I don't know whether they how they booked that
52:53
trip so a lot of it would would hang on that so but I know for example I'll use
52:58
an example there Paul and Carol who have their group Cruise you know Paul and Carol love to travel they have their
53:04
group Cruise next year in May there's quite a few people coming from the US Etc people who booking on the group
53:09
Cruise because then the US just you know insurance is is advised whereas I who
53:14
going on that cruise must have that insurance so that's that's pretty that's pretty
53:20
important Heather we're cruising on princess out of Boston next summer will you happy with your pre pre- Cruise
53:26
Hotel would you recommend something different I didn't no I was staying at the dagney I wouldn't stay at the dagney
53:31
again uh I was it wasn't particularly nice it was it was very it was very
53:36
hotels and Boston are very costly um so I wouldn't recommend that um there was other people
53:43
staying like uh Mark and nette was staying down closer to the port and the
53:50
names gone from it um I did stay afterwards by the way at Intercontinental I used points said
53:56
Continental that was very nice I really like InterContinental but that's kind of kind of very expensive but I had points
54:01
so um that's also why I didn't say it before it was too expensive but the dag was very expensive so I wasn't very happy with that so if anybody else from
54:08
the group cruise and other people from the group Cru who stayed the dagney didn't like it either um so um no so I'm
54:16
trying to think if um if I think Mark your hotel was pretty good I think so I don't know if you if you're still here
54:22
maybe you can suggest your hotel if uh if if possible
54:28
um although I haven't got anything booked but I do want to definitely try both of those um but I haven't got it
54:35
booked and I keep playing around with dates and stuff but um it's not booked but I absolutely do have that on on my
54:42
list um and Hopey Francis hopefully you've answered your question on H grutin um they they have very nice ships
54:49
they are very good Expedition but as you say if I guess if you heard the discussion around the disad gages you're
54:56
going to have fewer uh Landings um so actually going some it's interesting
55:02
when I booked um one of my trips when I was looking at one of my trips when I actually was booking uh I didn't book it
55:08
through Sarah I booked it with um a polar travel agent expert they kind of
55:14
were talking me out of going on hoi gron for that reason um if I wanted lots of
55:20
Landings um about SE dream um
55:28
so let's have a look Sherry moaning because Sherry originally was due to to
55:34
come on the trip but she had to cancel she going to a wedding H's here great so HTI fantastic to see you HTI um is
55:40
always traveling these days um as doing actually I've been following her trip um she's doing Canada New England on H
55:46
America looks it looks like you're having a great time so far so great to see you H great to see you here uh let's
55:54
have a look ah someone else is on cruise it's great lots of people are actually on uh
56:00
cruises at the moment and of course the great thing now of course with starlink is uh increasingly um uh you know increasingly
56:09
withall L you can hi Rondo also a group Cruiser what is the threshold for you to choose to
56:16
fly business or first class as opposed to economy so first class um my criteria is if I get upgraded is is my criteria
56:24
or if I get um uh you know um some C about so for
56:29
example I'm fortunate enough that I'm I am permanent gold on ba so that's from
56:36
of my corporate days mostly so I I have permanent gold uh tier so um that often
56:43
means that I'm quite high on kind of an upgrade list so um I've recently got a
56:48
upgrade voucher because I got so many tier points which me I could upgrade to that to be honest with you Ronda I um I
56:57
and this is going to sound terrible I only travel business um because I was horrifically
57:04
spoiled come back Point earlier in my corporate days so for 25 years I
57:09
traveled a lot Long Haul I would be traveling maybe two or three times often a month long haul and it was always
57:15
business although we had incredible policy at one point where if flight was over 12 hours which was often because I was going to Asia we could travel first
57:22
class so I got very sport on business plus that is also built up a mass massive pool of Air Miles which I still
57:29
have a massive pool of air miles so I will always find a way if possible to go business so I've had this discussion
57:35
with other people on the group cruise I would um I would uh uh I would cut back
57:41
on other things to go in terms of business I will often uh you know
57:46
because I plan so far ahead I will often book flights the minute they come on because again like flights are cheaper
57:52
at the beginning so because I know like for 26 like I've just booked flights for uh uh trips that I've got a year
58:00
from now so when flights come on I book them I play around a lot with air miles I use my credit card uh to pay for
58:06
everything so I have a bridge credit card so I get lots and lots of points um and what's really important you get a
58:12
companion voucher so often when Mar and I travel is it's half the amount of miles or I can go on a flight for half
58:18
the amount of miles so I I do a lot of that kind of that kind of stuff so um
58:23
but particularly anything L haul I I will go business if if it's in Europe you know if it's a shorter thing so
58:30
anything that's over kind of six you know five four you know maybe five or six hours I will always go business if I
58:37
possibly can um and I will always go one world so you know whether it's CA or fer
58:43
or American or whatever so that I'm adding both tier points and stuff so I play that kind of game now I have the
58:49
advantage because I travel a lot um I can sort of play that kind of play that kind of game play that kind of game a
58:56
bit um that does sound terrible but I will often I had this discussion with some on
59:02
the group Cru because I would I would do I would cut back on excursions for example do more self- touring um or
59:08
obviously I don't buy the drinks package because I don't drink alcohol so I would play around with some of those those
59:15
those elements if I possibly can um so so Sher said a married residence
59:22
in which was sounds pretty good um um cop has a lots of good suggestions
59:28
coming through uh oh that's
59:34
interesting our internet on Ocean Vista in the med was EX in Morocco where they blocked it that's interesting I hadn't actually thought about I hadn't actually
59:41
heard about blocking line so was that I guess would have been staling so I don't know whe have they blocked is stalling
59:47
not allowed to operate in Morocco or was that the cruise line or something very interesting had actually seen that before I need to perhaps explore that a
59:54
little bit a little bit more more interesting Jim said it's Seaport Hotel Bost so some great tips there in terms
1:00:01
of various hotels right so we have churned through it luckily I think I've actually managed to answer every
1:00:06
question that was asked hopefully which is very unusual so just a couple of things in a couple of minutes this week's video we'll go live which I'm
1:00:13
looking at the best and worst cruise lines by category at the moment I've gone and I spent time like churning
1:00:19
through and looking at all the ratings for the last n months and I talk about the very best the very worst uh in the
1:00:25
cruise land so hopefully that helps um I will be back next weekend with a live stream which will be back on Sunday the
1:00:32
usual time have a great rest of the week um try and watch that video um and stay
1:00:37
safe and and see you soon
