Hiroshima Japan: My Day In Port #shorts

what did I do on my cruise stop in

Hiroshima Japan well first I got off to

see the famous Atomic Dome this is now a

UNESCO world heritage site and it's

become an iconic symbol representing the

atomic bomb that was dropped during

World War II on the 6th of August 1945

over 140,000 people died in Hiroshima

90% of buildings were destroyed and this

is one that remained in part it's now in

an area called the peace Park filled

with over 60 memorials there's also a

museum that shows and tells the stories

of people that died or were injured and

all about atomic bombs personally I

found it a little bit too much a bit

harrowing and I couldn't stay there very

long so I escaped had a cup of te in of

sandwich at a cafe across the road and

pondered it all so then next I went to a

way more peaceful spot which is the shuk

Japanese Gardens they were also

destroyed by the bomb even though were

many hundred years old and they've been

rebuilt accurately they're stunning then

headed back to the ship for our next
