These Things Make No Sense In Star Wars

Hello there, I'm your Walmart Obi-Wan Kenobi and I cannot do an Obi-Wan Kenobi impression

It just doesn't make sense. A bit like some of the things that I asked you, the What Culture

Star Wars community, that just don't make sense to you. I'm CJ, this is What Culture

Star Wars and here are 8 things that don't make sense in the Star Wars movies

Number 1, Stormtrooper armour. I mean, what is the point of the Stormtroopers actually

wearing armor one shot and they're either down or the dead it doesn't seem to actually help them

to function now i know it says outside the movies that it absorbs it and it helps them stay alive

but you really think that the empire care if the stormtroopers are dead or alive and even their aim

is absolutely shocking and it doesn't help them whatsoever the helmets are blocking their view

even so they can't even escape from evil doors. Now wouldn't it be easier if the stormtroopers just didn't wear armor

or even just not the helmets so that way their aim could improve

they could move faster and maybe they would actually stop the rebels in some sort of way

Just saying. Number two. Who's actually paying for the empire's budget? One of the saddest parts of growing up and getting a job

is realizing that most of the money you make you will never see again

because your government take it all in taxes. And I mean, I get it

We need firemen, hospitals, teachers and loads more. But who is actually paying the Empire

And more importantly, how much are they paying so that they can build not one, but two Death Stars

Now, the Empire was a recognised leader of the galaxy so could get the taxes in that way

But what about the First Order? Who was funding the First Order so much so that they could convert an entire planet

Like is money unlimited when you're a bad guy in the Star Wars universe

And maybe I've been on the wrong side all this time. Maybe being the bad guy actually does pay off

Number three Luke throwing away his lightsaber The Force Awakens is all about Rey journey to find Luke Skywalker and return his lightsaber I mean the whole plot of the movie was about finding them and they made

a huge deal about his lightsaber and the connection with the Force and even triggering visions within

Rey. And then we get to The Last Jedi where we finally see the importance of returning the

lights say about when oh wait no luke just throws it off a cliff and that's it within the first few

minutes of the last jedi the plot of the force awakens is just thrown away just gone like what

was the point of the force awakens if that was the case i mean was it symbolism of just ryan johnson

going you to the force awakens i'm gonna do my own thing i guess we'll never know number

Number four, the Sith rule of two. The Sith are evil and never seem to follow any sort of rules in order to get power

Well, except for one rule, it seems. There can only be a master and an apprentice

which to me seems pretty silly if you want to take over the galaxy. I mean, it worked for Palpatine anyway

but wouldn't it make more sense to have an army of Sith and then literally no one would even mess with you

I mean, it seems pretty easy to turn people to the dark side. It's even weirder when you think about Exegor

On Rise of Skywalker, we see that Palpatine has thousands of people hanging out around him

The Sith Eternal, who are a group of cultists who long for the Sith rule in the galaxy

and want to see the return of Palpatine, just appear. And more importantly, who was feeding these guys

How were they getting all of the stock they needed to build these super ships

And again, where is this budget coming from? Who's paying for all of this

Like, are these guys paying it themselves? But then how are they getting this money and they're doing their day to day jobs as well

And how are they getting to and from this place without anyone even noticing

I have so many questions about the ending of that movie. Number five, everyone being angry at Anakin

Okay, hear me out on this one, okay? Anakin was told from a young age he was the chosen one and would bring balance to the force The key word being here balance So at the time of Revenge of the Sith there is only one Sith Lord technically Darth Sidious

against hundreds of the Jedi and their apprentices. That to me is not very balanced

How can everyone be angry at Anakin when he actually did what was prophesied

and what the Jedi were expecting him to do and bring balance to the force and in the end having two jedi obi-wan and yoda and two sith

anakin and palpatine i mean that sounds pretty balanced to me and yes there were jedi who

escaped and there are sith that weren't involved as well but in the movies at that point there was

a balance anakin had done his job it just doesn't make sense why people are so angry with him

Number six, the New Hope torpedoes. These torpedoes to me don't make much sense

The torpedoes seem to make a 90 degree turn to enter the port when Luke fires it

Now, while the film suggests that Luke uses the force guided by Obi-Wan Kenobi's voice

and he even turns off his targeting computer. So how do these torpedoes know where to go

And also they start off really wide and then are side by side and then close together

and then they're separated and able to move perfectly into the hole when everyone else

misses. I mean how does a torpedo know which it has to turn to be 90 degrees and how does it know

which ones it just has to hit on impact and if they are so good at targeting how come everyone

else has hit the sides? I guess we'll never know if it was the force or was it just pure luck

Number 7. Why didn't Darth Vader search for Luke before Empire Strikes Back

Let be fair Obi didn do the best of jobs trying to hide Luke from his father Let look at some of these facts He took him back to a family farm which Anakin had visited before They let Luke keep his surname of Skywalker

It's also where Anakin grew up. And this place is full of outlaws

and all the Empire had to do was send out a bounty, and anyone with the name Skywalker would have flagged up in Tatooine

because that place is full of bounty hunters and outlaws and people you do not want to mess with

and the bit that bugs me the most is how did Darth Vader find out that was Luke in the X-Wing

and why hadn't he thought about this to begin with like was Darth Vader on like some sort of rebel

newsletter and get an email blast sent to him about well done Luke you blew up the death star

Like, how did you find out this information? Number eight, I am a Skywalker

Yes, at the end of Rise of the Skywalker, Rey has put it upon herself to become Rey Skywalker

But how has she decided this? She has absolutely no claim to the title

She's not related to them at all. If anything, her family is the opposition to Skywalker

I would have even accepted Ben calling himself a Skywalker instead of a solo for his ties to Darth Vader

Even the house on Tatooine wasn't even the Skywalker ranch or farm

It was owned by the laws. So where has Skywalker come from

She barely knew Luke. Leia was an O'Garner and technically possibly even a solo

So she spent very little time with Luke and yet she feels that she can take the moniker of Skywalker

so does anyone else find it very weird that she decided hey i'm gonna become a skywalker even

though i have no blood relation to it couldn't she have just became a palpatine and put a brand new

name out there and put a good name out there so there you have it there's eight things that myself

and fans just don't understand in the star wars universe if you have some of your own let me know
