How to CLOSE ACCOUNT in COINBASE 2024 Step by Step

So, welcome everybody into another coinbase tutorial

In this tutorial, let's see really quick how we can close our account permanently if you

no longer want to use this account. So before we continue, I strongly suggest you guys, if you have a few balance into your

assets, you have a few assets, a few tokens into your account

I strongly suggest you guys to convert all your tokens from just one token and send it

into another crypto wallet that you're currently using so you won't be losing your money

So now that you don't have anything pending into your account, you want to look for your

icon from your account and go into settings. Just in case that you just want to lock your account for a few minutes, for a few days

for a few weeks, you can go into the security section, scroll down until you find the lock

your account. But if you just want to continue, let's go ahead

Now what we want to look for is for the privacy section. Now as you can see, it says your account from Coinbase

So what we want to do is to request a deletion here

So request deletion of some or all my data. So if I click in here, it's going to be asking us for what's going to be happening here

This is what we have to be aware of. So you may want to read all this information right in here

And then you select this option and says delete all of my data and send request

Once this is done, you're going to be receiving an email confirmation that you successfully

sent a request for deleting your account and Coinbase is going to confirm that

After the 30 days, you won't be able to access your account and your account will be deleted permanently

So you just need to be really, really aware of that. And once you receive your account, guys, it's a matter of time to wait till the Coinbase

remove our account permanently. In my case, I won't do that because I don't want to close my account
