How to Create & Sell Etsy Digital Products in 2024 (Etsy + Canva Tutorial)

What is up everybody, welcome to this new video of Techspress

In today's tutorial let's take a look into how we can create digital stuff to sell

into Etsy using Canva. Now Canva is like one of the best tools that we can use to design

easy stuff for free and you can use it to sell it. Of course you don't want to use templates of Canva

and just leave those like people are just being created and then later on you want to sell that stuff because

that would be cheating of course, that would be taking the work of someone else and then later on you want to sell that because what I wanted to do

is to use a template of Canva and this template I wanted to make

this my own so I can start to sell this stuff. So in today's tutorial I'm going to be focusing into

how we can create a digital planner so we can sell this into Etsy

So what is a digital planner? If you go here into digital planners

you might see that there is a lot, but truly truly a lot of people

who are creating these posts that people are actually buying. So how do you know that people are actually buying

these products? As you can see we have the digital planner there is more than 8000 people who bought this product

more than 3000 here, we have 9000, 5000, 15000 and much more. So this is how

I make sure that people are actually buying this stuff and if I know

how to create this for free I believe that this one should be really

really interesting. Now for example I can see that there is a lot of templates that people are buying but

there is like not a lot in different languages so I believe this

one should be like a great opportunity for us. Let's see for example digital planners

into Spanish that would be, let's go for and as you can see still there is still not a lot

of people buying products of this into Spanish so I can create something like this into Spanish and then later on see if this one

actually works. So for example this one is into Spanish actually but there is only

one sale. So what I wanted to do is to go into Canva. If I focus into Canva and I want to go inside in

then later on I'm going to focus into search 1000 templates and I'm going to

go for digital planner. So it's going to be popping up lots but truly truly lots of templates that I can use. Once again totally for free

and then later on I can create my actual own template. Now we do have the magic design

The magic design will be helping us to create templates crafted with our

own media. Let me explain this a little bit. Let's say that I want

to open a new tab. Let's go for Mickey Mouse for example

what I want to do is just to make a quick demonstration

of what Canva can do with the images that we already have

with our own. So I'm going to save this image and I'm going to input here into downloads and then I'm going to go back here

and I'm going to choose the magic design. So choose insert media, choose files

I'm going to hit into my downloads and I'm going to choose my latest file

which is actually this one. So inspiring templates crafted with your media. It should be appearing in here. So based on the colors, based

on the style, based on the headlines we can create something. So for example here into the

style I'm going to choose, let's say I'm going to go here where it says

let's say something like Canva or FreeDoca and then later on here into the

headline, let's go for digital planner and the 2023. Remember that we are making this

into Spanish because there's not a lot of competition. Let's go for Planeador

Digital 2023 add to results, no results for media, please try another image. So what I wanted to do is

to not use this actual PNG file. I wanted to have some

colors and backgrounds. I'm going to hit once again into my uploads

I choose this image, I'm going to do this really really quick for you. And there we go

So as you can see I just uploaded a new image with a background and check it out

we do have this digital planner. So Pinterest pin Facebook cover, your story

a flyer, Instagram post, Spiral notebook, Pinterest pin so it actually works for me like a lot. So I choose

for example this one and hit into customize this template so this one should be sending me now into the template that was generated for me

and what I just need to do is to get started with my actual digital planner

so I'm going to use this image actually I'm going to make this a little bit more like this

instead of going with these, let's go for www.etsy.com fast forward slash, my store

this one, and I'm going to hit and make this a little bit more

smaller, I think I'm going to just leave it like that, make this more into the upper side

like this, and I'm going to use this image to use it for the actual title, the cover image of my

listing into Etsy. So I'm going to go back here I'm going to go into my shop manager, and here into my shop manager

I'm going to start with an actual listing. So let's focus here into Etsy listing

hit into listing once again, I'm going to hit now into my new listing, and here I'm going to

add a first photo, which in my case is this one so this is just like an example, and this is like an idea

of I can get my own idea of how it's going to be looking at the end of the day

my design. So once I have an idea of how it's going to be looking

my product, I think I can get started with the actual customizing

of the template that I'm currently using. So I'm going to go back

and to let's see, for example, this one, or this one, I'm going to get into

add a new page, I hit into the designs, and here into the templates, I do

exactly the same thing, I'm going to hit here, and I'm going to go for let's say

digital planner, and I choose a new template, or I can click into this new button that says

combat assistant, and here into search anything, I go with a digital planner, and here is a new

template, based on the design that I have created here so I choose this option for example, and as you can see, it doesn't look that

bad. So I'm going to open a new tab, and do the same

thing, let's go for digital planner once again, well now let's go for a digital calendar, because I wanted to

add something, and here have this new template, January for example so instead of having now this image, I can delete this

I hit into my uploads, and I'm going to use this Mickey Mouse stuff that we have just created, or just added

on the other template, so I'm just going to go into position, hit now into back, and there you go, so it looks

like great, right? So I'm going to go and change then later on the title, for example, Planeador

2023, there we go, so if I like what I'm seeing here, once again I'm going to hit now into share, I hit

into download, the three pages, a PNG file, and hit now into

download. So now I have just created the images that I can add

then later on I can download this file as a PDF file, so when people

buy this product, I can sell, I can send this I can send this PDF file. So here is my new images

I hit now into continue, and here now into open, and I just

hit into the X mark, and now what is left to be done, is just to

add the title, the description, the price, the personalization and there you go, so this is how it should be looking, my actual

digital product here. So with that being said guys, this is how you can get started
