How To Create a Popup Banner To Shopify

Hey everybody, welcome to this new video of TechQuest

I'm gonna be showing you really, really quick how to add a popup banner into your Shopify store

Really, really easy to process. There are actually lots of way that we can do this

So in order to get started, what I wanted to do is to go directly inside my Shopify

So here into Shopify, as you can see, here's my actual store, right? So let's focus and open a new tab

Here into new tab, what I want to do is to go into elpsite.com. This one should be helping us a lot

to create lots of templates, lots of stuff, lots of themes for our Shopify store

So what I want to do is to create an account. Once you have created an account

the process should be really, really easy. Just create an actual widget. So you don't have to pay absolutely for anything

Just those tell you if you are like a little bit worried about this

So now here into the app catalog, what I want to do is to look out for some popup

So I'm gonna go for pop, and here as you can see, you have an actual popup

So I click this option. And now we have this template. And here as you can see

you can choose the one that fits for you the best. So let's say that, for example, I wanted to offer something into my store

So I choose this one. I hit into continue with this template

and this is gonna be popping up this new builder section where I can start to edit my popup

So you can see this how it's gonna be looking, my popup. If you don't like it, you can edit it later

But in my case, I'm just gonna leave it like that. So once you have successfully do this

I'm gonna hit into okay. And now once again, we wanted to focus into the free version

because we only have one website and we only have one popup website

Let's focus into the free version actually. You're gonna hit into select, and now it's gonna be asking to copy and paste this code

into the desired place of your website. So this is the part where it's really, really important

Took a lot of attention, guys. If you don't know anything about coding

it's really easy, but do as I am just saying step by step

So first of all, I'm gonna copy this code. I go back into my Shopify

We are totally okay here, right? So go into your online store, focus into themes

So now that we are here, focus into the homepage. I wanted to show everything into the homepage, right

Into the very first page. So here into homepage, I'm gonna hit into add section

So really, really important, we are into the header, add section. All right, so let's go into add section

And here, I'm gonna look out for custom liquid. I'm gonna click here, and I'm gonna paste my liquid

that we have just created. And automatically, it should be appearing here

our custom liquid, our stuff here. So I'm gonna hit now into the three dots

I'm gonna hit into view, and just wait till the pop-up comes out

There you go. So as you can see here, it is appearing. If you want to see this into the actual whole page

you can go and change your actual widget. In my case, remember that I choose this one

into the right part, but you can change it for whatever you are looking for
