How to Buy a Domain on GoDaddy Domain (2024) Step by Step Guide

So you want to get your domain using GoDaddy

In this tutorial, I'm going to be showing you how you can do this. The very first thing you want to do is to have an actual account

So if you go into GoDaddy.com, what you want to do first of all

is to focus into the very first section of the site here, which is Domain Names

So if I click here, I can look out for search for domain names

So once I'm in here, what I want to do is to type into the domain that I want to purchase

Let's say, for example, Texpress. I'm going to hit into Search now. Now, after your research, it's going to be showing us a bunch of stuff that we can choose

In this case, for example, .com, .mx, starting from $2.99 for the first year

So as you can see, it is not that bad. If you're OK with what you're actually seeing here, what you want to do is to type Make it Yours

So this one should be added into the actual card. As you can see here, we have the actual domain registration

What I want to do is to type here and choose one year

So I can have the actual first year for $2.99, which in this case should be equal to $32.99 in MXN

Now it's going to be asking us to sign into our Google account or into a GoDaddy

In this case, we don't have an account. So let's go ahead and go into Create an Account

This one should be sending us into a new pop-up to create an account. So let's go into choose Continue with Google

Now I'm going to go and choose my company account, which is textpressvideos at gmail.com

In this case, I don't need the domain protection just for now

Let's go over to start your website for free. Scroll a little bit down. Make sure that we don't have any credibility into Microsoft 365

So let's go into No Professional Email, go up and continue to the card

Really easy so far. Lastly, we're going to fill all our registration information in order to continue

And after that, let's go into Save and Continue. Lastly, in order to complete my purchase, what I want to do is to make sure that I have my one year appeared in here

You don't want the full domain for now. You don't want to enable this one, only the actual new domain registration

So all the domains come with a website builder, which is actually awesome

Let's go here into I am ready to pay. Lastly, here we have once again our information

So we have two items, my domain registration and my website builder

This is totally for free, of course. Lastly, choose the payment method that best suits for you and hit into Review Order

Let's do Complete Purchase. Now I'm going to hit into Continue. Skip for now

And here what you can do now is to customize your site, connect to an existing site or set up an email address

I'm going to do this later. And I want to make sure that I have access to my full domain

I'm going to hit now into my dashboard. Let's hit into Domain

And as you can see, here's my domain. I'm going to hit into Domain Settings
