How to Track Any Shopify Store (Step by Step) SimplyTrends Tutorial

Hello there, if you want to track your computers

into Shopify or if you just want to track a Shopify store that is not yours, you are in the right place

so let's begin, let's do this really really quick I'm going to leave you guys a link down below in the description if you don't have a Shopify

now for this specific video, we are going to be using this website, this platform called SimplyTrends

so this is an insight we can receive insights for any Shopify store, any store

that was created inside a Shopify store is going to be appearing in here

so thank god that this application appeared in SimplyTrends, so what we want to do is

to sign up, head into start for free, I'm going to leave you guys

a link down below in the description so you can create your account totally for free and you

might get a great discount also with Shopify and SimplyTrends application, so

you want to choose to enter your email, to register terms of service and consent to receive, actually I don't want to enable

this, after that I just want to head into next once I do have my account already created, I just need to

verify my email with a verification code that was entered into my email as almost

every application that you are signing up, so I'm just going to do this

real quick and then we can get started, alright so now I'm going to

head into next so we can be ready to go, and let's see

how we can get started here into SimplyTrends, so we can try

to spy in a specific store right away, now for example if you already have the name of a store, of a Shopify

store, you can click in here and we can find the store that we want to track, but if you are not

sure, let's say for example that I want to look for sharky, something like that, here you're going to

be appearing different domains that are already added, created with the Shopify store, so what I

want to do, let's say for example that I want to look for the sharkyslipper.net

now this requires the Chrome extension, so what you want to do is to install the free Chrome extension, if you are not

into Google Chrome, this extension it won't appear into your store, so what you want to do is to have already downloaded

the Chrome platform, so once you are into the right platform, into the right browser, you need to add this

extension into your browser, it won't take you more than 10 seconds or maybe a little bit less, so once the extension has been

added correctly, browse and spy on any Shopify website anytime so what we want to do here is to exit

here, go back into our main sales tracking section and reload the page, so we can start tracking the store that we

wanted to look for, now in here I do have the name of the

store, the number of the products, the tracking cycle, the sales tracking store left, and the

buy sales channel stores, now in here I need to upgrade to the pro version in order to see more tracking stores

depending on how many sales tracking stores I want to search, the price

is going to be going up, but what I want to focus now is into the store inside, so once again I'm going to go

back and I'm going to try to find a store that has

been created with the Shopify store so as you can see here is the name of the store, here is the number of

products, here is the tracking cycle, and here are the sales tracking store left, so if I head into

the bu store inside it's going to be sending me into the inside of

the orders of this website, so if I go into the website just

to see if this one is active, here as you can see here

is Black Friday sale up to 60% up everything, women's sales men's sales, this one is called yumsharks.com so I can see

there are a lot of products of Jim's stuff that you can buy, so if I scroll all my way

down, here you can be seeing here that we that this website has this options available

of the social media stuff, of the payment method the gift shop limited, so I'm pretty sure

that this is a Shopify store, so I know that this is a Shopify store, so now that I'm

ok with that, I can go back into my store inside, and here is the

statics, so I have the monthly orders, I have the monthly revenue, here is the country where the store has been created, has been listed

the country rate, this is really important speaking about the traffic rank and all that, the last published

product was a few weeks ago, the first published product was 3 weeks ago, 3 years ago actually

the average product price is $35 here are all the number of products that they have in stock, the category

ranked in the United States, there are 136, so this is like a very

great store, the global ranked and the highest product price so if I do want to track some sales

or I want to watch some products, there are actually a lot of insights, there are actually

a lot of steps that I can take a look in here, so I can go into products

and I can try to filter those for best sellers, like for example this gift card

of $10, it's like the best selling stuff, or I'm going to get into live orders, but speaking about the live orders, can only be

looked into an updated section, so I actually don't want to do this at the moment, because this

it's not that interesting to watch so if you want to pay for that, I mean it's totally ok

for you, but I'm just going to stick around with this limited stuff that we have

this is traffic, this is something that I really love to watch every time I go into

Sample Trends, speaking about the traffic, I can watch the monthly visits of a time, month till the last

month, so in here I can see the traffic of the country

which people are watching this website so I can see that this website is popular on the United

States and in the United Kingdom as well in here, and here's the age distribution, so if I

do have a niche related into this competition all of this information is really really useful for me

I can try to aim for this age distribution with this specific

audience, so I can try to improve my sales speaking about the same niche that my

competitor has, and the same thing speaking about keywords speaking about traffic distribution, speaking about the social media

traffic distribution, so I can try to do so much more from

YouTube for example, and send them in my store referring sites, so it's really useful
