How To Create Animated GIFs In Canva (2024) Step By Step Tutorial

How to make animated GIFs with Kanba. In this step by step tutorial, let's see how we can do this

Hey everybody, welcome to Techspress. My name is Stephen. In this tutorial, let's see how we can create an

actual account of Kanba, how we can set this up. And I'm going to show you in two ways, in a manual way, how we can

create an animated GIF and of course in a more animated and more easiest. So

both tools are totally for free. So let's get started. The very first thing you want to do guys is to go into kanba.com

I'm going to leave you a link down below in the description if you haven't created an account in Kanba

So once you get into kanba.com, as you can see here, I'm using a private section

So you're going to want to look out for the sign up totally for free, which is actually this one. And then whether you want to choose to continue with Google, with Facebook or an email

that is totally up to you. And here what you want to do is to import your information

hit to continue and what you want to do is to import your name and create your account

After that, you just need to provide of course a code and after that your account should be now created. In my case

my account is now being created here. So what you want to do, you don't have to worry about if you don't know how to use camera because I'm going to be showing you

in a very easy way how to get started. The very first thing you want to do is to locate the upper side on the right part

which says create a design and this one is going to be asking you

what is the actual stuff that you wanted to create. So if you wanted to create like a GIF

as an image for show shows or you want to create a GIF for video and all that

I can totally recommend you to look out for the custom size and here into the custom size, what I want to do is to start creating

10.0.0 by 10.0.0. Then I'm going to go for PX of the pixels and here to create my new design

Now this one is going to be like a squared form. So as you can see, this is our actual

blank canvas. So what you want to do now in order to get started is to locate into the left part

where is our actual elements. So I'm going to be showing you very, very easy how I can create an animation GIF

So let's say that for example, you wanted to add some click gear. So I'm going to go and search elements

Let's go for click and I'm going to go into graphics. So here into graphics as you can see, we already have

some sections that we can use for animated GIFs and this one are already being animated

So I can choose, let's say for example this mouse and I have this GIF

So I can just move, redrag like this and just leave it like that

And there we go. As you can see, this is my actual GIF. So now what I want to do is to export this GIF because this one is going to be

created like right away. As you can see, it was really, really, really easy to just do a GIF with an automated

animation. So here into share and here what you want to do is look out for download

Instead of mp4, let's look out for GIF. GIF and the size you want to leave like that and hit into download

Now as you can see, my file is now being downloaded and it's going to be really, really easy to cap this file into a

GIF file. So once this is going to be downloaded, what you want to do is to double click there and just want to make sure that your file is an actual GIF

I want to open a new page. So I'm going to show you the second way, like a little bit more manual way how we can do this using other elements that

are not animated automatically. So let's go back into elements and here let's say that what I want to do now is to animate a text

I want to go into save. I'm going to click this data side that we have just created. So I'm going to double click here and

this is my animation. As you can see, this is the actual file. This is a GIF and

of course, it actually works. So now I wanted to go back into the page number two. This is the

animation automatic. Let's go for auto and here in page number two, I'm going to go for animation manual

Now, let's go and look out for something more, a little bit more difficult to get started. So first of all, I want to change the background

So in this here, what I want to do is to change the background color. Let's say that I want to go for something like this, a little bit more

weirder than that. There we go. And then later we go into my elements

So here into elements, what I want to do is to create like a background that is actually moving, but once again

I don't want to focus a lot into the actual movement of my graphics

So let's go and look out for something like just like a pattern

There we go. So here I want to look out for graphics. Let's go for see all my graphics and now let's focus into some graphics that are not animated

So what I want to do is choose to leave this like that. And now down in here, let's say that I want to add like a text

So I'm going to go for, let's say this used stuffed and I want to change the actual color

Let's go for the same actual color of my element here. And I want to change that for hello and

delete this one as well. So now I want to do now, if you go into effects

you can do whatever you want to speak about your actual shape of your text

So I want to do something like this. There we go. So I want to change the actual movement like this

And I'm going to make this a little bit more smaller. So my animation is going to be the movement of my actual hello text

So I'm going to make this a little bit more like this. There you go

And there you have it. So now what I want to do is to choose the element that you wanted to animate

This one is going to be, of course, like a gif. So we go into animating to the upper side

And here, let's look out for some animation that we can use for the actual appearance of

my movement. So as you can see, I have the ascending, I have shift

I have a block, I have the type writing, I have the boast

skate. So that's totally up to you guys. If you want to choose whatever

let's say I want to choose bound. And here I want to choose this element so I can of course animate this as well

So I went to look out for something that can be more accurate to my actual other

animation as well. So let's go for this one. This one, actually this not works at all. So there we go

I think that this one is kind of worthy, but I want to do only into an enter like this

I'm going to move this like that. There we go. So once I have successfully done that

what I want to do now is to I have my, of course my animation, it is five seconds

So what I want to do is to change the actual timing. So I want to move this from five seconds into

let's say only one dot five and hitting to share. We'd go into download and here into all pages

use one to select the second page. So on select this one

he didn't do done and hit into, once again, the file type should be G I F and download

And there we go. So there's actually two gifts now that we have just created

And as you can see this, how it's going to be looking, it repeats constantly

So I think this one is going to be like much better for just one second or a

little bit less than that. And there we go. This is how we can create like a gift and to the actual combat. And once again

this is totally for free. Now, if you wanted to add, upload your own stuff, I can totally suggest to you to hit into uploads

upload by file. And here what I want to do is to add my custom video that I

have just created. So I can import my actual character. Let's say

for example, this one, this of course an image, but let's assume this is like a video. So I have this character here

I click here, going to edit the photo. It's not looking that bad

So I can actually make the animation. I can go into animate. I can go into photo animation, create the animation

just want to move like from one place into another one like this. And there you go. This is how it's going to be looking our actual movement
