How to Dropship on Etsy (Step by Step) Tutorial for Beginners 2024

Hey everybody, welcome into this new tutorial

In this video I'm going to show you how you can make dropshipping here into Etsy.com

So it's going to be really really simple. I'm going to be using a lot of basic tools

It's going to be helping us to make some dropshipping so you don't have to worry about having too

much experience on the online selling, merchandise and all that. So we will be covering the basics so you can start selling into Etsy.com

Take a look here into this example. Here's the customer right in here

So let's say this customer sees your store and wants to buy an item, let's say for example

of a phone of $200. So the customer pays you $200. We have a connection to the supplier and the supplier are the ones who have the items

they have the phone. So we need to pay the supplier for the item, for selling the item

So of those $200, we're going to give them $150 so the supplier can send directly the

item to the customer. So at the end of the day, you are keeping $50 of the $200 of the customer

So now that we know how this dropshipping works, how can we do this into Etsy

Well Etsy.com is just as many places we can buy and sell our stuff

Now if you have an Etsy.com account, you just need to sign in

If you don't, well, I'm going to leave you a link down below guys in the description so you can sign up totally for free

And once you sign up, you want to go into this section where you can go into the start selling

So now that we have an account here into Etsy and now we can start selling

Well if you select the option that says start selling, it's going to be popping up this new plan of the shop preferences

We have to name our shop. We have to stock our shop. We're going to get paid

We can set up our building and our shop security. Right. So before we dig into this, let's see a website where we're going to be getting our supplier. Right

How do you know what to sell? Well, speaking about creating dropshipping into Etsy, I do strongly recommend you guys

to go into this great website called Printful.com. I love to use this application because there are a bunch of ways that we can earn money

and they, of course, have the dropshipping section here on demand. So if you scroll down, you're going to see here how the print on demand dropshipping works

So the only thing that happens here, we connect our store to Printful

In our case, we connect our Etsy store to Printful and then we add our products

And in here into the Printful.com, we can set those products and put our own retail prices

So what happens in here is that the customer buys from our stores as we just saw before

they charge for the fulfillment and we keep the profit of the total price

Then they take care of the order and control of the whole fulfillment process

Then the customer receives the order with our brand attached to it

And we're good to go. As you can see, connect Printful to the platform and marketplace of your choice

So if you want to work here into Etsy, you can do that. If you want to work with other places like Amazon, TikTok, eBay, well, you're totally

good to go there. But in this tutorial, we're going to stick with Etsy

So if you click in here, it says sell on Etsy with print on demand shopping

So what I want to do is to connect my Etsy store into Printful

So if you already have here your store, as you can see, here is the shop preferences

name your shop, shop your stock. So I'm just going to go into shop my country, shop currency, I'm going to go to save and continue

Now here is connect your Etsy store to Printful. There's a video if you want to check out here

I'm going to just do it real quick. I'm going to look down here, connect to Etsy button

So I'm just going to click in here. We need to authorize that I'd like to connect to our account

So if you want to read this, you're free to do it. All right

So now that we've already linked our Etsy shop, it says add your first product to start MX

So you can go into add product. And in here is going to be a lot of new products, my product templates, warehouse items in here

So as you can see, there are a bunch of tools that we can use in order for selling here stuff

So this is the really interesting part, knowing what to sell. So in order for doing that, I'm going to go back into Etsy and I'm going to keep my

Pinterest account already opened. I'm going to tap some keywords, right? So for example, let's try to use the word cat, cat t-shirt, and showing results for

cat t-shirts. So if you go into all the filters, you have to stick with this option

It says all items delivered to the country they're currently living and any price

And after you go into apply, it's going to be showing me a bunch of ads, of course, items

that are currently like the most trending here into this page. So as you can see, it says meow shirt for cat lover

I'm going to change this just for a second. So as you can see, there are like a little some fun of them

This one has 900 reviews. So now what I do here is to go into the Pinterest account

And in here, I want to look for the keyword, which is search into Etsy so we can start

making some designs of our own and sell that into Etsy, right

So I'm going to go into cat retro t-shirts and here is going to be appearing lots of

ways, lots of things that we can use. So as you can see, these are cat t-shirts

The one that we just saw on Etsy, this one looks almost as the same of this design

So now that we took some inspiration here, we can now create our design

If you already have a design, it was really simple. You just need to import that into your product listing and print full

But in this case, we don't have a design. So that's a way that you can just create your design

You can go into Canva.com where this place is totally for free, or you can go into Feeba

or another place where you can contract a freelancer and you can pay them to create

you a design, in this case, a vintage cat for a t-shirt

And then let's say you invest like five or $10 or more than two designs

And actually it's going to be like an investment because you're going to be selling a lot of those t-shirts, right

But if you want to mess around and you want to do this on your own, you can always go

into Canva.com. I'm going to create a design. I'm going to go into custom size where I can start from scratch and let's see what the

Canva tools have to offer to me. So now as you can see, I just add like a few elements

So my picture looks a little bit more better. So I kind of like this file

So now what I want to do is to choose here the share section and try to download this

item as a PNG file. So now I'm going to go into download

And now that my image has been downloaded, what I want to do is to go here into my print

full section. And in our case, let's head into some t-shirts, right

So I'm going to go into, let's say women's clothing, because let's say that our target

for today is tourists. Alright, so now that we choose our item here, I'm going to select my product

And something to keep in mind, let's say for example, the page asks us to submit our image

our design in a different dimension. So if you go into share, and you're trying to download with different size is going to

be asking you for a premium subscription of Canva.com. But what you can try your seven free days trial with the link that I'm going to leave

you down below in the description, you'll be having three days totally for free

Or the second option that I actually use a lot is to just go into my home section, I'm

going to use a new tab. And I'm going to choose here into the pixels, let's say that they're asking me for 5000, right

So I'm going to use this, this side, I create a new project

And now, what I just need to do is to copy all my elements and paste it into this new template

So as you can see, here's our t shirt. So let's say this is the left chest, they want to choose if you want to choose a center

a large center, a bag, a label where you can import your this side, you can totally

do that. Now, as you can see, here's our design. So I want to make this a little bit more big on something like this, I kind of like this

the side. Now that we are okay with that, I think it looks pretty good for me

And the backside, if you want to add something, you can do that my case, I just won't do it

But if you want to add a backside, you can totally do that. Alright, so now here we have to put all our details of our product

Here's the main markup image. Try to put a product title here

Now I'm gonna scroll down all my way up. So once again, you have to set your revenue and the currency that your country supports

Now as you can see, here is my product, customer card, unisex premium KBPT

And as you can see, here's the item. If I want to see here is the status on Etsy as a draft

So I can go into I want to go into my listings

And lastly, what I need to do is to go once again, here, I'm going to go into edit in

Etsy, if I want to place that already. So I can go in here, as you can see here, has been imported already my photos, the just

thumbnail, if a video if you want to add a video, so all the information that I wanted

to add is now available in here. So actually Printful do everything for me, right

So here's the price, quantity, the Printful key chains, delivery options. So as you can, as you can see, there are a bunch of options that was already successfully

done by Printful. So I lastly want to add this photo because I just use that for advertising here, my design here

So I'm going to go back into Etsy. I'm going to choose this image and I'm going to put it in here, set it to primary

And this is my thumbnail, right? So if I checked on preview, here's my listing, here's my cosmic cat unisex premium KBYT

And we have done that. We've done that here into design into Canva, this is how it's going to be looking

So I'm going to go and see my item here. So as you can see, it looks pretty good for me

This is the size guys and everything. And we are already into Etsy

This has been already listed. And here are all the size. I can see the highlights and description, the delivery and return policies

And this is the price. And if you go into your dashboard of Etsy, you will see that your item has been already
