How to install Google Tag Manager into Shopify

I'm going to be showing you step by step how we can do this really really simple. The very first thing you want to do is to go into the tag manicure.google.com

In here you want to sign in using your actual Google account and then what you want to do is to create an account so you can

score start to create a tag so you can then import that into your Shopify

So let's go into create an account. In here it says account name, you want to choose my company

country, share data and all you want it to. And here into the container name you want to choose the name of your

actual Shopify store and then after that you want to choose the target

platform. In our case we want to look out for only webbed and hit into

create. After that it's going to appear in the terms of service agreement

So you want to scroll all the way down, read all of this, accept

the data processing terms and choose yes. There we go. So lastly what you need to do is going to be like really really easy

We need to install the actual Google tag manager. So you don't have to worry about

if you haven't done this before, it's going to be like really really easy. You just need to do the copy

and paste process. We have to do all of these elements. You don't have to be intimidated

about that. So let's go into paste this code. I'm going to go

into copy and then what I want to do is to go into my actual Shopify

store, which is actually this one. And then I wanted to go directly into my

online store. Here into online store, let's go into themes. And here into themes, what I wanted to do is to edit the

actual code of my theme. Once again, you don't have to be intimidated

by that. It's going to be like really really easy. So click into the three dots

and hit into edit code. So it's going to be popping out the actual code of our actual theme file

So let's go and click into theme.liquid, which is actually this one

And as you can see, there's a lot, really really a lot of stuff. So once again

if you go back into your actual section, it says paste this code as high and the head of the page

is possible. So I want to go where it says head. You want

to go and paste it down in here, or what you can do is to paste it down where it says meta, which is actually only the name color

So which is I'm going to copy and paste. Really really easy. Once again

I'm going to go now into save and boom, we're actually good to go. Now

what I want to do is to go back into Google Tag Manager and do exactly the same thing

Paste this code immediately after the opening body tag. I'm going to

copy this and I'm going to locate my body. Usually, this actually body type appears after the 240

So for example, I'm going to go back here 247. But if you don't find that, you can go into control F

and here where it says find, you want to look for the word that says

head and hit into next. So of course, it took me into the 247. So here

what I want to do is to click here, paste it and hit into save. There we go. So as you can see, it was really

really easy to do that. I want to just go back here into Google Tag Manager, hit into

okay, and we have now done that. So let's just go and

just reload the page and we're actually good to go. With that being
