Shopify Dawn Theme Customization (2024) Dawn Theme Design Tutorial

Welcome everybody into this new video of Tech Express. I'm going to be showing you how we can

customize the Don free themed into your actual store of Shopify. So the very first thing you want

to do is to get started with a Shopify store. Once you do have your actual store already been

enabled, what we wanted to do is to get started with a new customizable free themed. And to do that

what you want to do is to look out for the loved pilot, hit into online store, and this one should be bringing you now into Themes

Now, I'm getting hit into Build Your Store, and as you can see, I have this snippet

That is actually not looking that great at the moment. So what I want to do is to get started with something totally for free

In this case, we wanted to use the Don Boson. So let's go back

Let's go here into Themes, and if I scroll all my way, down I can see that we have the theme library. So into my theme library I can scroll just a little

bit down just to make sure that I have the proper free themes and as you can see we have the done

one. So what I wanted to do is to click into this done theme and I want to make sure that I have

all the elements that I wanted to add into my actual store. So as you can see, it is actually

looking really great. If you like what you're seeing in here, you can try the theme or you can

check it out the view demo store So I going to hear it hitting to try the theme And this one should be now adding the Don into my online store theme So I just wait a few seconds

This one should be taking me back again into my actual dashboard

And here I'm going to scroll a little bit down. Now here, as you might see, here's the current theme that we have just added

So what I want to do is to hit into Published, even though we don't have anything yet, but hit now into Published

And now I'm going to go into View My Store. So we passed from this into this

Really, really easy to do. Now we wanted to customize this actual theme in order to make this look a little bit more faster and integrated into all elements

As you can see, I already have my feature products. But what I wanted to do is to add, let's see, for example, my logo

go in here, I wanted to add more sections about my menu, I wanted to add a custom image

and I wanted to change the logo, the button of the actual product of buying

So let's go back into the theme section, let's go directly into Customize, and here into

Customize, as you can see now I do have this new section, which is the editor of Shopify store

So let's just get started with the very first part, which is the header

I click into Heather and I wanted to go and change this Let go for top center And now I going to try to change the scheme number one color I going to change this for the number four so it going to be

looking much more interesting for me I kind of like what I'm seeing here I can

change this menu then this menu you can just edit this for the folder menu for

example if you wanted to or just leave it like that to our store from let's say get

your 50% discount here. Now link directly into my collections of the homepage of course or the

products. So let's say only all products. There we go. So now I'm going to go back and there

we go. Now I'm going to click here and I'm going to change my first image. If you don't have an

image you can always explore free images if you wanted to and change this for one of the best

suits for you. In our case, let's go for chopping in sale. and let's use the best of the suits for us in our case let's try to import this one

you liked it hit into select and there we go it's looking great right you can add another

images if you wanted to do so you can make like a grid view so i'm going to go back here once again

go into my shopping and sales i choose this one and i choose into select there we go it's not looking

that bad so as you can see this is how we can customize here our actual dawn boson really really easy to

customize this for browse our latest product clicking to the element that you wanted to change and automatically is going to be popping out into the lid pot to the element that you don want it to see or to edit it for example

browse our latest product let's go for 50% discount and instead of

importing the product here which says shop all I click into the button and let's go

for buy now so I'm gonna hit now into safe and we can preview this into the

three dots and hit into view. So we passed from this into this. Really, really easy and

customizable and now it looks a little bit more professional. Of course there's a lot of things to

cover but we have now reached into let's say the basic professionalism way to get started with

the build of an online store. It is now your choice to add to delete to customize elements

blocks into your online store. You now know, how to customize your customed dawn theme. And if you want to change this for another theme

you can always go back, download it. And once you have download it, you want to go into PubList

and your store should now be automatically popping up and updated, depending on what is the element
