How to Add a Gallery to Shopify Shopify Pictures tutorial

Hello everyone, welcome back to another video. I hope you all are doing great and are having an amazing and absolutely incredible day

In this video, we're going to be talking about how we are going to be adding images and photos to our gallery in the easiest, most simplest way possible

We're going to be walking through this and talking about it in great depth and detail. So without further ado, let's get straight into it

Now to start things off, what we are going to want to be doing is we're going to go ahead to our content section over here

Okay, and once you go into your content section, over here you're going to start adding different images that you want to portray in your gallery mode, right

So that add content, again, go into your content. You can go into your files as well if you want to

And once you go into your files, here you can see you have different images

And you can upload different files of media. you can upload different categorized media files

which you can obviously add different types of variations for. And in those variations, you can add different types of detailed media if you want to

So it creates a general idea of how you tend to work with the whole gallery stuff

So let me give you an example of how the gallery widgets are actually made

So once you've done this for yourself, let me show you what comes ahead of this

So after doing this, you're going to come to online store. And once you go over to your online store, over here, let's say I'm going to click on customize, right

So it's going to take me into my store customization and into my store customization, you're going

to start seeing different sections down here. So let's say I'm going to add a new section

Okay, so add section. And once you click on add section, it gives you different things over here, right

you image with text image banner you can add a slideshow you can add a gallery collage okay Now obviously when it comes to adding a photo gallery for yourself I don think anything makes more sense than adding a collage okay

So a collage can be added by doing this, or you can add different slideshows as well if you want to

A collage would relatively make more sense, considering the amount of photos a gallery has

So you're going to add a collage like this. And once we've added a collage, you know, it's going to give us different things like multimedia collage, et cetera, et cetera

So first of all, you're going to change the texting of this. So we're going to change it from multimedia collage to, let's say I'm going to call it product

Or you can call a catalog category. I'm going to call it catalog gallery

Okay. That is what we're calling it. So once you call it catalog gallery, you're going to call it

you're going to choose your heading sizes, okay? Then there's your desktop layouts

which side do you want the bigger picture to be, et cetera, et cetera. Then once you've chosen the necessary things

it's going to give you the card style where you can use individual card styles or style all as product cards

And once you do that, there's the color schemes. Okay, you can change your color scheme like this

And then obviously you're going to add your catalogs or your collections

one by one. Okay, and to add the certain collections that you have

you can obviously go into your theme setting and you can keep different stylings

which can be a standard styling, it could be a card styling, you know, whatever you want to go with

You can add them in your, you know, preferred way over here

But for now, I'm going to click on save. And once you click on save, to add your images or to add your image gallery

you can slowly one by one start adding your pictures. So as you can see, I have this picture over here

I'm going to click on Done, and it's going to add it. And look at that

So it just added the first picture Then we can add the second picture Obviously you can choose a product I have this product over here I going to choose that I going to select

And there you go. Then you can add a collection down here as well

Because if you add a collection, it adds the whole damn gallery over here

So pretty incredible, right? And then obviously you can add more blocks into this catalog or more blocks into this collage as well if you choose to do so

So that totally depends on the work or the type of styling you want to go with. Okay

So just add as much great detail as you could possibly want to

And once you do that, from there, just click on save and let's see how our store looks right now

So I'm going to go back. And once you click exit, I'm going to go into the viewing of my store over here

And once you click on view store, here you can see you start getting your products, you start

getting and there we go here's your catalog gallery now people can obviously go ahead and check

this photo out they can check the product out they can go into the collections you have so pretty

amazing pretty incredible stuff so yeah uh that's pretty much about it now obviously you can

uh simply just go ahead and uh you know add collage as your gallery collection but the more fun part

about all of this is that you need to create collections for yourself to add a whole gallery in there

So first of all, obviously, as I said, go into your content, go into your files, and add all the

necessary products that you can or the necessary products that you could possibly have

Okay. And once you've added the necessary products, from there, what you are going to be

doing is you're going to go ahead into your products. When you go into your products, obviously

once you add your products added you going to go into your collections and you going to create a collection for these types of certain products So I have a collection called New Deals and Products okay And in this collection add all the products that I have

Now, to add the products that you have, you're going to go into products. Let's say, have these products over here

So you're going to come down where it says collections, choose the collection, choose this, click on save

And the fun thing about creating collections is that you can get all the details and descriptions and the images that it has to provide

you with all the media, all the variance. And as you can see, your search engine listing looks like this as well

So pretty incredible stuff. So once we've configured this, we're just going to go on back

And once we go on back, basically that is how we're going to set all these things up for ourselves

Right. So yeah, that's the basic gist and that's the basic idea of how all of this is going to work

So yeah, that's the basic idea of how you're going to add a gallery to your Shopify

Okay. And again, it's a really simple concept. And all you're simply going to want to do is you are just going to go ahead, add photos to your content or media, and then just start adding them in your collage of collections. Or you can even add them in, you know, your basic product image banners or collapsible content widgets. So just search the different sections that you can add. Okay. And once you search the different sections, you can add, trust me

it's a piece of cake to work from there. So yeah, that's the general idea of how you are going to be adding your Shopify gallery

to your actual Shopify store. And again, that's pretty easy to do it
