How to make a free e-commerce website with free domain and free hosting

Hey guys, welcome back. If you are looking to build your website for free

and you're looking to build a WordPress website and you might be wondering, hey, WordPress is pricey, how can I get that for free

Well, I have a little life hack for you guys. So let's get into it

Now, the first thing you want to do to get started is head on over to Pantheon.io

So Pantheon.io is a platform that allows you to deploy WordPress on your website and you can start building with WordPress

for free. So to get started, simply head on over to Pantheon.io

then click on Start for Free on the top right. Once you click on Start for Free

you can create your account and you can just input your basic information

I've already registered my account, so I'm just going to log on

And once you have created your Pantheon account from here, you can actually get started with building your website

Now, the first thing you're going to see is going to be your Pantheon dashboard

And how does this relate to your actual website? Well, you are going to build a site on Pantheon and then deploy WordPress on it

So this is going to be your empty dashboard. And once you see your dashboard over here

you're going to click on Create New Site on the bottom left. And once you click on Create New Site

Pantheon will start creating a website for you and you can enter your Pantheon

site name, whatever Pantheon site name that you want. And then you can choose the region for your site and click on Continue

OK, so this name is already taken. So now I've chosen a different name and we're going to click on Continue over here

And after that, you're going to choose your CMS. So from here, you want to choose WordPress

because that is the website builder that we want to use. So we're going to click on Deploy over here

And once you click on Deploy, it will get started with building your website with WordPress

So it's going to take a couple of seconds for WordPress to be completely deployed onto your CMS

So after waiting a couple of minutes, our WordPress has been deployed

So once this is complete, you're going to click on visit your Pantheon site dashboard over here

Now, after you do this, this will actually show you your Pantheon dashboard

And you might be wondering, this is not WordPress. Well, once your Pantheon site dashboard has been created and it has deployed

WordPress, you're just going to click on site admin or visit developmental site

So if you just click on site admin over here, you can get started by setting up your WordPress site

So you're going to click on English and click on Continue. And once you click on Continue

you can get started with entering your site title. So let's say our site title is going to be Vivian

And then I'm going to add my username. And after I've entered my password, I'm going to enter my email address

And then you can choose your search engine visibility. So if you're still building your site

you can choose to discard search engines from indexing your site. However, we're just going to leave it as it is and click on install WordPress

Now, once you click on install WordPress, you're going to click on log in

And then you're just going to do the same thing where you're going to enter your username and then you're going to enter

the password that you created and click on log in. Now, once you log in, you will see your WordPress dashboard

And you did not have to pay to use WordPress at all. You're doing it directly for free using Pantheon

Now, after this, we're going to start building our e-commerce website. So to do that, you're going to click on plugins and click on add new

On your left toolbar, you will find plugins and click on add new. Once you do that, you will see your search plugins on the top right

And over here, you're going to search for starter templates. So once you search for starter templates

what this platform allows you to do is that it helps you in building websites

or stores that are simple, easy and effective. Now, you're going to click on install now

And what this allows you to do is that it integrates these templates into your WordPress site so you don't have to go

through the tedious steps of building each individual page. Now, you're going to choose your page builder

Let's say we want to use the Elementor editor. And then after that, you're going to choose what type of website you're building

We are looking to build an e-commerce store. So we're going to choose online shop. And then after that, you're going to see

multiple different templates available, you have tech startup, marketing agency. You also have clothing store templates

jewelry store, sports store, bookstore. So let's say I want to build this one

This is a brand store template. And once we have taken a look at the preview of this template

if it looks good to you, you can get started with customizing it. So we're going to click on skip and continue

And there are some default color schemes you can change. So let's say I want to change the basic

color scheme to pinks and blacks like this one. And I like this color scheme a bit more

So I'm going to choose this one or this one like this. And then below that, you have your font

Let's say I want to choose these fonts instead like this one

Now, after that, you're going to click on continue and then you're just going to enter some basic information about yourself and then click on submit and build

my website now in a couple of seconds, the teams will be loaded

An Elementor will be added into your WordPress dashboard and then it will

just load up this entire template onto your website. So it's going to take this template and make it your website

And then you can begin by customizing your website. Now, one thing I like to include is that

the fact that you are supposed to integrate WooCommerce and this will this

starter template is actually going to help you in integrating WooCommerce. And it's going to be super easy for you to set this up

If you are looking for a simple way for you to set up individual flows

you can see importing card flows fails due to a parse JSON error

And you can choose to close this up, exit to your dashboard and choose to download WooCommerce in itself and then

Elementor in itself if you are ever having issues with this. So you're going to click on set up my store

I'm just starting my business like this and then click on continue just to set up

WooCommerce because sometimes your templates might have issues if WooCommerce is not preinstalled onto WordPress

So I'm just letting WooCommerce install itself and then I'll reinstall my template

So now the WooCommerce integration is asking whether or not I want to use

the same account that I have on WooCommerce, so I'm just going to click on connecting my account so it connects my account to this particular WordPress

site that I'm building and now it's just connecting my account. And once this has been completed, I can go into my WordPress dashboard

and you will see now that I have all of my basics integrated

You can see I have my marketing, my Elementor templates, WP forms appearance

Now, once I have all of this added, I can go directly into my product section

or just go into WooCommerce and then click on add product, click on physical product over here and you can start adding your actual products

that you have. All of your basic steps have now been completed. And now you just have to input your actual information

So let's say I have my product name painting. And then after that, I have the regular price and the sale price

And then after that, I have my inventory like this. And let's say the quantity that I have is one thousand and one hundred

And then after that, I can add a short description. And then after that, on the right side

you have previews draft how your actual product is going to appear. I'm just going to click on publish

You can also set your product images. Obviously, you're going to do that for a real product

You're going to click on add product gallery images and set product image, click on select files

And then you're going to use your particular image. So let's say it's this one

I'll click on open, click on set product image. And now this product image is going to be displayed

Now, if you have multiple different images, you're going to click on our product gallery images as well

Now, after that, it's very essential to categorize your product. So you can click on a new category and start building categories

I recommend you build all of your categories firsthand before you start adding

individual products because it makes it a whole lot easier for you to categorize them

So for any store, you know, your basic categories, let's say it's a clothing store. You're going to have tops, blouses, tops, blouses, T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts

So whatever categories that you have, you can add them beforehand. Now, for each product that you're adding

you might have different sizes and variables to add those. Simply scroll down. You have your product data

Now, after that, you have your inventory, shipping, and then you have attributes

You can click on attributes over here and then you can add the particular name of the attribute

So let's say it's size and then let's say it's a 20 cm by 20 cm

Now, let's say the other size is going to be 40 cm by 40 cm

And like this, using the vertical bar, you can separate the different sizes

Now I'm going to click on save attributes. So these would be the two sizes that are available

Once I've done this, I can click on update on the right side of my screen and my product will be updated

Now I can go into my all product section on the left toolbar and you will see you

can click on the view section to see what your current product is looking like

So you guys can see this is what our store is looking like. This is the size information and then we have the availability

Now I can go back into my store and I can actually go on ahead and click on my store visit store to see what our store is

looking like. Currently, our store does not have a theme as our theme was not installing at the time

So you can go back into your plugins over here. And once you do that, you can go on ahead and go into your starter templates plugin

where you can deploy a particular theme or you can just go into templates over here

on your left toolbar and you can click on add new and you can select the type of

template you want from Elementor, create a template and then you can choose

a template from Elementor as well. So in this way, you can build an amazing e-commerce website for free

It has no kind of restriction. You have a free domain, free hosting

and you don't have to pay any third party platform, any kind of fee for you to be
