Shopify POS Lite VS Shopify POS Pro - Plan Review

Welcome back everybody's text for us. In this tutorial, let's talk about POS for Shopify

This is a quick comparison between the light and the pro version, so let's get started

So everybody guys, in this tutorial, we're going to be talking about the Shopify P-O-A's light boson

and the full version, which is like the pro version. So in this video we'll be discussing a little bit more about the other view between the POS of the Shopify

light boson, the pro boson. We're going to discuss what is exactly a POS

So you all guys know what exactly is this definition. We'll talk about side-to-side the comparison, like a quick and depth review of both

POS sections. We have some feedbacks and test modules. And then later on I want to talk about the final thoughts and recommendations

So let's just get started. All right. So in order to figure out which is like the best tool for us into Shopify, let's define what

exactly is POS. So POS exactly turns point of sale, which that means that this is an actual

device that is used to process transactions by retail customers. Now a cash register, a type of POS

and this cash registry has largely been replaced by electronic POS terminals, they can be used to

process credit cards and debit cards as well as cashed. So if you have already, let's say, paid for a

hair card or a restaurant or you want to buy some clothes. Usually when you pay when you

create all your debit card, they have a point of sale. That small device is an actual POS. So if you

check the out here into our Shopify section of the point of sale, we do have two different

plans that can give us like the right toes to figure out which one is like the best for us. So we

have the startup plan. We have the retail price. The basic, the Shopify and the advanced

are only four small retailers that can give us, let's say, a Shopify customer website, online store

but we are actually focusing into a small business that wanted to pay for a POS pricing

So if I scroll all my way down, we have here the What is POS Pro

POS pricing. And there's only two available options for us, the startup and the retail

Now, a startup plan comes with one POS light location, we have the four casual sellers start selling at pop-apps markets and more for

foundation features for selling in Paris and online now what is included into this

actual startup plan we have the one I'm registered account which is like the most

basic one one POS login and a simple online store now the other section here

we do have these new pro person but if you want to check the out here what

comes with the pro person how the retail now the retail If you are not a casual business, if you are not just a freelancer, you're just getting started

if you're something, you have something much more, let's say advanced professional

Now, this one actually could be really important for us. We have the one pro POS location included

This one has two administrative account. There is unlimited POS logins and a simple online store So if you check it out here try this for free This one should be sending us directly into this new section of Shopify

Usually what Shopify do is to ask us a few questions to figure it out

which is where we are actually standing by in order to figure out how we can continue

So let's get started, which of this bet subscribe to you? I am just starting. Let's say that you're just starting, right

have your retail stores and you want to sell stuff in person and social media and usually what people do

really really simple you don't want to focus a lot into how you can get started though so i have here a lot

So now, this point of sale section is going to be showing me the staffed, the location, and my customer settings here

the hardware of this POS. So once again, it totally depends if you're just getting started if you

already have a business or if you have a business from let's say more than one or two year and you

want to scale up, level up your incomes and all that. So if you check it out here, the POS HotWR

we have the retail kit. So usually this one actually comes for people who have, like

a clothing store or something, let's say much more professional and, let's say

If you have an event, if you, let's say that you have like a label and you're selling stuff from house to house

You don't have an actual store, a physics store. You're just selling from one place into another one

where you can just ask for a credit card, just make the tap and cheap or just slight your actual

credit card and then you can just charge for that. So you can just check it out which one if it's for you the best, let them pay it anyway

Now, what I wanted to do is to go once again, actually up, go into the features, and if you focus

where it says business type, we have the retail POS and the POS small business

Let's click into the POS Smaller Business and see what actually comes with this actual new section

So, we have the manager retail business simply. I scroll a little bit down, and we have now the more than a point of sale

We have the compatible hardware, integrated payments, the features of a small business

I'm going to scroll a little bit down and check it out what it actually comes. with this new section here. So selling into pop-ups, markets, and more with foundation features

for selling in Passen, of course, and into online, for casual sellers, for people who just are

using their phone, they don't need to buy any hotware in order to sell anything. So paying only

$5 per month, I think is a really great, great price to sell stuff not only as an online marketplace

but as an actual physics store. Let's say that we are coming from one dollar into another one

Everyone knows this as a pop-up self. So usually this is like a really great way how you can charge people

So if you have an actual hub where people might be getting more, having like more confidence

They're actually making it really great, strong and saved potcheys, whether or that you're using an actual phone and a number

But if you actually tell people that you're using Shopify and this one is provided by

and for Shopify, you have really strong confidence there. Now, you have two bosons, the light and the pro boson

If you have more than five or ten people who are administering your actual store

let's say more than three people, and you're having more and more and more people involved

into your actual product or into your company, then maybe the retail business can be really

helpful for people who are, let's say, scaled out to a registered account and limited POS login

and simple online store and you're going to be paying $89 per month

And now the POS Pro location has been included. So what is exactly the POS Pro

Now, this is an actual description for retail stores. Every location comes with a POS light, upgrade to the POS Pro to get power of features for

the in person. But this one, the pro version comes with self-management, inventory management, have the customer

profiles, up in the channel selling, client-telling, and retail. ytics. So usually here, we have a limited staff that can access to the POS. That's what I just

told you guys. We have this staff role as in the permissions. We have the rich customer profiles

The customer royalty inside returns and exchange to any location inventory management

up in channel selling professional retail report. Now, with all that information, if I go back

into the POS light version we have the limited staff that can access POS the sample customer profiles and returns at a renal purchase store which I think is more than enough to get started with a point of sale today So yeah I think it really great to have

the pro bosom because we have a limited staff there. There's a staff role, there customer

royalty inside, there's inventory management and the professional retailers, reports. It's something

that is not included into the POS Light Boson. But if we are actually not avat into the marketing

stopped. I didn't think that you're going to be actually needing that. But if you wanted to check

it out like more insight, more reports, you can link to your actual Shopify store with other tools

that are actually totally for free. For example, Google ytics. So if I open a new tab, I'm going to

type Google ytics. And here, what you can do is that I can link an actual website that I

actually own. And then what I'm going to do is to track data from my actual website, how many

users in here, event count, new users, combosions, for example, how many people bought

this product, this other product, and these Google ytics is totally free. So to link

an actual website into Google ytics is not a hot. It's going to the upper side, go into

the repo, it's create your Google ytics account. And the process is actually really

really simple. You want to check that out. We have the video down below in the description. You want to check that out. But actually really, really simple. So usually the POS light

version could be more than enough to just get started here into this new retail or let's say

sell in person. So whether you are like a retail POS or a POS of a small business, I think

the ball actually really useful, you can try it out this new point of sale of the light

version and check it out. This one is actually worthy for you. Usually what kind of this

Shopify staffed. Sometimes usually they are paid by itself if you have a strong and sustainable

website and an online store. So when you think that your store can be, let's say

sustained it by itself, I think that it's better. I think it is like a great way to

scale it up to the next step. So if you are already into this scale it up into this next step

you are now having really great responses, strong customers. Then congratulations, I think

is now ready. You aren't actually ready to focus now into the PLS pro, those and of the Shopify

with that being said i think we'll not cover the basics of which one is like the best of course

the pro boson has a little bit more stuff but that doesn't mean at this point is actually the right

for you you can just start with this small and the light plan and then later on you think that

you're not ready to go you have really strong sales really strong customers and all of that

then you can just move on into the next step to try it out the pro boson not likely before you

check it out for example google ytics there is google tech manager and you think that those

tools they are totally free, let's say, like the best for you, then you can try it out
