How To Delete Your Etsy Shop (2024) Step by Step

Welcome back to Tech Press, if you don't want to see your store of Etsy anymore, follow

these steps in order to close this. So the very first thing you want to do is to go into Etsy.com, you want to go into the

upper side and look out for your profile once you are inside it

So let's go here and let's focus into account settings. This one should be sending us directly into my account

So now what I want to do is to scroll all the way down and look out for close your account

Now what happens when you close your account, your account will be inactive until you open

it, your profile, your shop and your listing will no longer appear anywhere on Etsy and

will close any non delivery case that you opened, your account status will remain intact

So that means that in order to close your store, you need to close your account permanently

So in this case, as you can see, I have this notification of the application that says

you need to pay your 8MX balance before you can close your account

So if you have a few statement into the actual finance of your store, you need to pay this

So you click into the elements that you have here, I choose my card, I hit submit my payment

And after my payment has now been successfully done, I can now proceed to close my account

Now, this one should be taking us into close your shop. So here have our actual shop, please help us improve by telling us why you are living

You wanted to import the element, the reason the best suits for you. For example, Etsy is not right for me, personal reasons, business reasons or something else

If you choose something else, you have to add more details about your actual, let's

say the goodbye, saying goodbye to your actual store. So just add the elements that you wanted to add, hit into close your shop

So in this case, we actually don't want to close our shop, but this is the way of

how we can close this permanently. Now, as you can see, no one can use your shop name

Your shop will look just the way you left it. You need to authorize a new credit card to reopen your shop and closing your shop does

not prevent buyers from leaving a review. So you want to take that in mind before you hit into close your shop

Once you close your shop, you're going to be no longer going to be able to, uh, let's

say to sell stuff. But if you open once again, your store is going to be asking you if you wanted to make

active your store once again, or you wanted to keep this, uh, let's say off the market

So if you wanted to use Etsy only for buying stuff, I recommend you to add a new account

with new email and create no online store at the moment. So with that being said, guys, we have not reached into the very end of the video
