Today I'm counting down my picks for the
0:01
10 worst products I reviewed in 2025.
0:04
Now, not every product I review is a
0:05
success, so today we celebrate those
0:07
that missed the mark and have a good
0:08
laugh at their expense, too. So, here I
0:10
present to you my worst of 2025.

[Music]
0:19
We start our countdown with a product
0:20
that looked visually appealing and even
0:22
futuristic and probably looked nice on
0:24
your counter until you used it. And that
0:26
is the Mini Q coffee maker. If you
0:28
actually want to use it to make coffee,
0:29
you'll have to deal with leaks and most
0:31
cups don't even fit. Here's some scenes
0:32
from that review. Mini Q coffee maker. I
0:35
paid 70 bucks for this on Amazon where
0:37
it doesn't have many ratings. The water
0:38
reservoir is right here and it just pops
0:41
off. You can either take it to the sink
0:42
and fill it or you can just add the
0:43
water right there. There's these two
0:45
adapters here that look pretty
0:47
identical, but they are not quite the
0:48
same. This one will hold a K cup and
0:52
this one actually will hold grounds.
0:57
pressing the button.
0:59
The orange blinking means that it's uh
1:01
it's warming the water now. It went to
1:03
straight white. What does that mean?
1:05
Okay, so apparently that's that means
1:06
it's done preheating. I have to press it
1:07
again. We have coffee coming out. Let's
1:09
check the temperature here. They say 185
1:11
is kind of it's kind of all over the
1:12
place right now. I use a similar mug
1:14
here, which doesn't fit. Wow. This is a
1:17
a
1:19
We have an issue here. This is a pretty
1:21
standard size coffee mug. No wonder they
1:23
sent their own. Their own's kind of kind
1:24
of short and fat. This one's a little
1:26
bit taller and skinnier. I guess I can
1:28
fit it that way. W That's really Come
1:30
on. I don't know if I like that or not.
1:31
It seems pretty limited in what you can
1:33
fit in there. You need a really small
1:34
mug. First time it preheated. The second
1:36
time it didn't. This is already 30 plus°
1:38
cooler than the than the first one that
1:40
came out. But I'm kind of wondering
1:42
what's up with that preheating cuz it
1:44
didn't preheat the second time. It I
1:45
guess it just stayed warm from the
1:46
previous use. Seems a bit inconsistent
1:48
as far as the temperature goes. Oh, look
1:49
at that dripping. It drips on the
1:51
outside. That is not good. To me, the
1:53
biggest problem is that you have a very
1:55
limited cup size. It seems like they had
1:57
to include their cup because most cups
1:58
won't fit there. To me, it works, but it
2:00
has too many flaws to choose this over
2:02
other options.
2:04
[Music]
2:09
Number nine on my countdown is the solar
2:11
fan hat. Now, admittedly, the fans
2:13
themselves did work when you charge them
2:15
via USB, but they added these giant
2:17
solar panels that didn't work very well
2:18
and look ridiculous. Let's flash back to
2:20
some scenes from that review. They claim
2:22
that it's a one-sizefitit all solar fan
2:25
hat. They say it has an elastic
2:26
drawstring right there. All right, let's
2:28
see it with the fans on here.
2:33
Oh, yeah.
2:36
All right, that one's on high.
2:39
That one's on high. I don't know if you
2:40
can hear it, but there is certainly a
2:42
sound worrying both of my ears. As
2:44
someone who has constant ear ringing, it
2:46
has a familiar sound to it.
2:54
All right. My initial observations are
2:56
number one, it does feel nice to have
2:59
that kind of constant breeze on your
3:00
face cuz there's no wind at all right
3:02
now. None. All right. So, there's really
3:04
maybe a 5 mph breeze out here. It's It's
3:06
not much of a breeze. I don't even
3:08
really feel these fans. There's just
3:10
enough breeze where I don't really feel
3:11
them. They're they're kind of weak when
3:12
there's a breeze out. So, I don't know.
3:15
If you're working outside and there's no
3:16
breeze, it might help. If you're walking
3:18
around and there any breeze, they may
3:20
not. I'm looking directly at the sun,
3:22
they're spinning, but they ain't
3:23
spinning very fast. It's not even enough
3:25
to make me feel them. Something I'm
3:27
already noticing if I'm facing away from
3:28
the sun, no fans whatsoever. If I come
3:32
over here and face the sun, I get a
3:34
pretty weak fan.
3:36
And I barely I barely feel it
3:38
whatsoever. This one just went off and
3:40
I'm I'm really not even faced that much
3:41
away from the sun.
3:43
Now, the other one went off and this one
3:45
went on. I don't know, man. That's
3:46
pretty weak right now.
3:49
Fans are off. Fans are off right now.
3:52
Over here, the fans are on. Weak, but
3:54
they're on.
3:57
[Music]
4:02
Number eight on my countdown is a
4:04
product that probably seemed like a good
4:05
idea on paper, but did not pan out, and
4:07
that is the candy frame dispenser. It
4:09
supposedly combines a picture frame with
4:10
a candy dispenser, but the dispenser did
4:12
not work very well at all. And do you
4:14
really want your candy up against the
4:15
wall like that? Let's check out some
4:17
scenes from my original review. The
4:18
handy candy frame. They claim that it's
4:20
a retro style candy dispenser that hangs
4:23
on the wall like a painting. So, I've
4:24
got some peanut M&M's here. I mean, it
4:27
seems like it's going to take a while to
4:28
load this.
4:31
Wonder if I can use a funnel.
4:36
Oh, that works.
4:39
One.
4:45
None. I got none. One at a time. This is
4:48
going to take a while. Oh man, this is
4:50
going to take forever.
4:54
All right. Now we are talking. Look at
4:55
that. I'm turning it. Nothing's
4:58
happening. Nothing's happening. Come on,
5:00
man.
5:04
[Applause]
5:08
Oh, we got three. That time
5:12
like nothing's coming out.
5:17
We got one. We got one. We got two now.
5:21
Nothing. Oh, come on, man. I have a
5:23
small amount of peanuts in there.
5:28
Okay, I got one. I got one peanut. I got
5:30
another peanut. Wow. This is Okay, I got
5:33
two that time. Seems like my peanuts are
5:36
going anywhere from zero to three.
5:37
That's about it. All right, here we go.
5:39
Real world test. It's actually mounted
5:40
on my wall. Let's see what we got here.
5:42
Oh, I got a couple.
5:50
It's a Hey, I got I got a big bunch of
5:52
it. I mean, I guess it kind of works.
5:53
It's a lot of turning for a little bit
5:55
of peanuts, but I got something.
5:58
[Music]
6:03
Number seven on my list did work. It
6:05
just didn't work very well. And that's
6:07
the Teimu smart glasses. It was bad in
6:09
low light. It was bad in bright light.
6:11
The colors were terrible. There was no
6:12
stabilization. The quality was poor. And
6:14
the controls were clunky. I don't see
6:16
anybody using this more than a couple
6:18
times and then given up. Check out some
6:19
scenes from that review. In this box are
6:22
a pair of smart glasses. I paid 3237 for
6:25
these onu. All right. Looking at the
6:27
instructions here. Looks like the
6:29
charging port is right here. There's a
6:31
button right here. The camera is right
6:33
here. Apparently, that is that little
6:36
dot is supposed to be an indicator
6:37
light. Now, the first thing we're
6:38
supposed to do to turn this on, there's
6:39
a button right in here. I have to reach
6:40
inside here and hold this for for two
6:43
seconds.
6:45
One, two. Okay, I see a light. All
6:47
right, so it went from a blue light,
6:48
went off, now a red light is on. So, I
6:49
think if I press and hold this, it
6:51
should blink a couple times. One, two,
6:55
let go. Okay, it it it blinked three
6:57
times red. I don't know if that means
6:59
it's recording or not. There's There's
7:01
no way to tell. So, I'm just going to
7:04
walk around and hopefully it's
7:05
recording.
7:14
There should be audio in here. I see a
7:16
couple birds. What happens when I walk
7:18
right to the birds? How would that
7:19
motion look? What's up, birds?
7:22
And they're not afraid.
7:25
They're not afraid. You're not afraid,
7:27
are you? No idea if this is recording or
7:29
not. I also think there's no battery
7:31
indicator. I don't remember seeing any.
7:33
I hear a lot of barking up there. I'm
7:35
just wondering if I can use these in my
7:36
car like as a dash cam.
7:46
[Music]
8:08
Number six on my countdown was the
8:10
amazing lid. And it was amazing.
8:12
Amazingly bad. It was hard to apply. It
8:14
didn't stay in place. It leaked. And it
8:16
was hard to drink out of. Let's flash
8:17
back to my original review and see how
8:19
that went. They claim that it prevents
8:20
spills and keeps surfaces clean with
8:22
this flexible silicone lid that fits
8:23
snugly on a mug or cup. Okay, let's see.
8:26
Just see how it fits here.
8:30
They do have a cutout here which kind of
8:32
accommodates the handle which that's
8:33
kind of nice. I mean it seems to fit.
8:35
How watertight is it? Let's see. Oh,
8:37
it's coming out the There's a hole right
8:38
there. There is a hole right there which
8:41
I guess they have to have so it fits but
8:43
I mean how can it be spillproof when you
8:44
have a hole there that's that's is
8:48
designed that way?
8:51
There's a there's a bit of a rubbery
8:52
taste. And that slit is so small. It's
8:55
like smaller than a than a straw. It's
8:57
like I actually have to barely get
8:59
anything in my mouth. Put a little bit
9:00
of oat milk in here. Let's put this back
9:02
on here.
9:06
And here we go.
9:08
Oh. Oh, look at that. See, in this case,
9:11
the holes are actually above the liquid
9:13
line, so it didn't spill. Oh, there it
9:15
goes. There it goes.
9:18
or the other side. There it goes, too.
9:21
Look at this. It's gonna slip right off.
9:23
Come on now. Terrible. This is not very
9:26
good. Let me try my dry one now. This
9:28
one is not wet. This one should be dry.
9:30
Is
9:35
Oh, it just doesn't It doesn't like this
9:37
glass.
9:41
Oh, it's struggling. It's struggling for
9:42
that size.
9:45
Okay. So, it's not working with this big
9:47
mug. It just won't do it. It kind of
9:49
fits over. I mean, look at that. I
9:50
barely got it over the edge.
9:53
Forget it. Forget it, man.
9:57
[Music]
10:02
Number five was a product that was going
10:03
around social media earlier this year,
10:05
and that was the ice cup. It's an ice
10:07
cube tray that doubles as a cup, which
10:08
already seems like a weird idea, and
10:10
then it started leaking. Check out some
10:11
scenes from that review. Ice cube box,
10:14
also listed as an ice cube cup online.
10:17
These are designed to drink out of. It
10:18
comes in two sizes. This is a smaller of
10:20
the two. Press to release cubes and
10:22
drink right out of the cup itself.
10:25
Well, that is not very much water. I
10:27
think I went over the max fill line. I
10:28
barely put anything in there. No
10:30
leaking. So, I'm going to lay it flat so
10:31
the cubes are perfectly formed.
10:33
Hopefully. All right. This is out of the
10:35
freezer. You can see you can't even see
10:36
through it. So, we're supposed to press
10:37
this down. The ice drops out and we can
10:39
add our liquid.
10:41
All right. It did seem to come out. It
10:43
seemed to come out. We have ice.
10:49
Oh, and it's leaking. It is leaking. Oh
10:52
no. What a disaster.
10:54
It failed. Leaking all over my counter.
10:57
Look at this. Terrible. Oh man.
11:01
Oh man. I was going to go outside, enjoy
11:03
a nice cool drink, but now I have to
11:04
clean up this mess on my counter. So,
11:06
nothing left to test on that one. I
11:07
would say it works okay as a decent very
11:10
small ice cube tray, but as something to
11:12
hold your drink, it failed.
11:15
[Music]
11:20
Number four on my countdown was the tiny
11:22
ice cream maker. Now, it looked cute and
11:24
sounded fun, but then I used it. It went
11:27
from cute and fun to a mind-numbingly
11:29
painful experience. Check out some
11:31
scenes from that review. They claim that
11:32
it's the world's smallest ice cream
11:34
maker. includes everything you need to
11:36
make 1/4 cup of ice cream. Step one is
11:38
to remove the metal canister from the
11:39
freezer and put it inside a sturdy bowl.
11:41
Next up, put about 1/4 cup of our
11:43
chilled mixture into the canister.
11:46
That's not full. Next up, we put the
11:48
Dasher into the middle container.
11:54
Sprinkle a tablespoon of salt over the
11:55
ice. Next, pour two tablespoons of water
11:58
over the salt and the ice. Add more
12:00
crushed ice until it reaches the top of
12:01
the container. Holding down the two tabs
12:04
with one hand, begin turning the crank.
12:06
Turn it slowly and in one direction.
12:09
As your ice melts, the freezing brine
12:11
will get even colder. Keep turning the
12:14
handle.
12:15
[Music]
12:21
Got about 15 minutes of this to go and
12:23
then I'll check with you then and let
12:24
you know how it turned out. And my hands
12:26
getting uncomfortable. This one right
12:27
here, holding it that in place that
12:28
long, it's getting uncomfortable.
12:31
Wow. I I feel relieved that it's over.
12:34
It says, "Remove the canister from the
12:35
bowl of ice and wipe off all the salt
12:37
water off the canister and lid."
12:43
It looks like most of the ice cream is
12:45
on the dasher. There's not much in
12:46
there. So, oh, some nice delicious runny
12:50
vanilla ice cream. What do you guys
12:52
think? Does that look like a delicious
12:55
vanilla ice cream that took me 30
12:57
minutes of spinning to uh to achieve?
13:00
[Music]
13:06
Number three on my countdown is a
13:07
product that probably didn't need to
13:08
exist in the first place and it had one
13:10
simple job and failed at that and that
13:12
is the Oreo dunker. Now, you don't even
13:14
need a special gadget to dunk Oreos,
13:16
especially one that doesn't work. Here's
13:17
how that review went. Take a look at
13:19
this Oreo dipper. Now, I paid $848 for
13:21
this. currently has a 3.5 star rating.
13:23
Now, taking a closer look at it, to me,
13:25
this looks 3D printed. So, what we're
13:27
supposed to do is hook this onto the
13:30
Oreo. Now, I can already tell, look at
13:32
this. I can already tell you that is not
13:33
going to fit. If I push it on there,
13:35
it's going to push it apart or break it.
13:36
One of the two. I mean, it certainly
13:38
does not seem like it's going to fit
13:39
very well. Let me see. All right. Just
13:41
it just pulled it apart. I just broke it
13:43
apart. Here's another regular Oreo. It's
13:46
just too big. It's too thick to go in a
13:47
regular Oreo, which is what the Amazon
13:50
listing kind of implies.
13:51
And it came apart. But I'm going to kind
13:53
of try to seal it back together by
13:55
pressing it together. Oh, I did crack
13:57
it. Looking at it more closely, I did
13:59
crack it right there. But maybe it'll
14:00
stay together. Let's do it. Let's do a
14:02
quick dunk.
14:04
All right. It is dunking. It's holding.
14:05
It is holding.
14:09
Awkward. There is an implication that
14:11
it's only for the double stuffed Oreos.
14:14
Kind of seems like it's fitting a little
14:15
bit better. Although, it's still pretty
14:17
tight in there. It still feels like it's
14:19
pushing the cookie apart.
14:26
Let's grab another one for the fork
14:27
here. Fork technique.
14:31
And that's not going anywhere. That is
14:32
solid as a rock.
14:36
And it's easier to bite them off of
14:38
there because you don't have it all the
14:39
way around the sides.
14:42
[Music]
14:48
I can tell you in two words why the next
14:50
item made my list, and that is Teeu and
14:52
Survival, and that's the Teimu Survival
14:54
Whistle. It sounds more like a quiet
14:56
child's toy, and I would not want to
14:57
rely on this for anything survival
14:59
related. Here's how that review went. In
15:01
this package are a two pack of survival
15:03
whistles I bought from Teimu for a buck
15:06
62. They claim that it's an ultra loud
15:09
whistle for outdoor emergencies. They
15:10
say it's durable, lightweight, and
15:12
compact.
15:17
[Laughter]
15:20
That sounds like a child's whistle.
15:27
Full blast.
15:36
It does work. It's not great, but it
15:38
does work. Now, before I get to my pick
15:40
for the worst item of 2025, a couple of
15:42
items really deserve a place in this
15:43
video. So, let's check out my
15:44
dishonorable mentions.
15:47
[Music]
15:52
My first dishonorable mention has three
15:55
layers of dishonor. It's a below average
15:57
product, horribly overpriced, and they
15:58
use pictures of me in their advertising.
16:00
It's the Chillwell. And here's how that
16:02
went. Let's take a look at the Chillwell
16:04
2.0. Good thing I have my chill well,
16:07
which stole my picture for their
16:08
advertising. Let's put it on turbo mode
16:10
and see what we got. Now, there's the
16:11
mist. I feel it. I actually feel it. I
16:13
got to give them credit for that.
16:15
Something else to point out, when you're
16:16
outdoors, that mist goes about this far
16:18
and then it dissipates. For the actual
16:20
cool mist, I can feel coolness right
16:22
there. I get this far away, I don't feel
16:24
cool anymore. That mist just gets just
16:27
dissipates really quickly. So, you
16:28
almost have to have it right in your
16:30
face for it to really work that well. If
16:31
you look at the thermal imager, you
16:32
really barely even see that mist. It
16:34
just completely dissipates. It's almost
16:36
cool right where it comes out at and
16:38
then it completely dissipates. You don't
16:39
even see it. And this you see a little
16:41
bit, just a tiny bit. This is on turbo.
16:43
This is the highest level. It only goes
16:45
downhill from there. That mist
16:46
definitely dissipates quickly. My next
16:48
dishonorable mention was a phone gripper
16:50
I picked up on Teimu. It's another one
16:51
of those products that sound like a good
16:53
idea until you actually use it.
16:54
Ironically, it's supposed to make
16:55
holding a phone easier, but it actually
16:57
made it more difficult. Here's how that
16:58
review went. This is a pack of four
17:01
phone grippers. I paid a whopping 59
17:03
cents for these. There's two ways of
17:05
using it. One is in your hand, I guess,
17:08
like this. And the other is on a stand
17:10
on a table. So, you're basically create
17:12
like a little shelf hanging off your
17:14
fingers.
17:15
Put it there and rest it. It doesn't I
17:17
guess it feels It does feel like it's
17:19
taking a little bit of the pressure off
17:20
there. Let's stand it up here and see
17:22
how that works.
17:24
Well, it ain't going to work this way.
17:25
It's not going to work that direction.
17:27
Let's try this way.
17:29
Oh, maybe. Maybe it does. Maybe it does.
17:31
So, I'm watching my video right now, and
17:33
you know, actually, it's it's kind of
17:35
stable. It doesn't have to because it's
17:37
such such a low profile, it does not tip
17:39
over. Here's the here's my observation.
17:41
Now, at first glance, on first use, it
17:43
actually feels kind of cool. Put it
17:45
there as like a shelf. You stick their
17:46
phone there, it makes sense. It makes
17:48
sense. But here's the problem. Your
17:50
fingers are stuck in this position the
17:53
entire time. So, when I was on my phone
17:54
for about an hour this morning when I
17:56
was waking up, knowing when you're
17:57
holding your phone, you can kind of
17:58
rearrange your fingers, kind of move
17:59
around, adjust here, they're stuck in
18:02
that position the entire time with
18:04
weight on them. Eventually, that weight
18:06
starts to get uncomfortable
18:08
[Music]
18:14
and it comes down to this, my worst item
18:16
of 2025. Viewers of my channel won't be
18:18
surprised, and that's the Power XL
18:20
Sturmax. It's an automatic stirring slow
18:23
cooker that's more like gambling. You're
18:24
not sure if your food's going to turn
18:25
out or be completely obliterated.
18:27
Whoever decided to put a round stirring
18:28
mechanism in a square pot probably
18:30
didn't think that out very well. So,
18:32
let's flash back to some scenes from
18:33
that review and see how it went. Let's
18:35
take a look at the Power XL Stirax. The
18:37
claims are that it's a 7 and 1/2Q multi
18:39
cooker that can automatically stir and
18:41
shred. And press start.
18:43
See what we got here. It is stirring.
18:46
Looks like it hits a big traffic jam
18:48
over there. It It's freely stirs and
18:50
then it kind of hits that. Oh, it just
18:53
stopped. And for the big reveal, there
18:55
it is. It doesn't even resemble mac and
18:57
cheese anymore. It's like It almost has
19:00
a consistency of like oatmeal. 2 Tbsp of
19:02
olive oil. 3 tablespoons of salted
19:05
butter.
19:07
We have stirring going on.
19:12
It seems like a lot of it kind of
19:13
bunches up on the edges. I'm not sure
19:16
that's really what we want. Maybe when
19:18
we have liquid in there, it won't be so
19:19
bad, though. Oh, yeah. We got sizzle. We
19:22
got sizzle going on.
19:25
Now, my first observation, looks like
19:26
all the ingredients went to the outside
19:27
here. I noticed that it was cooking from
19:29
the center outward, and I guess a lot of
19:31
the uh the liquid was on the outside as
19:32
well. Very strange.
19:38
Look at this. I I don't know about that.
19:40
I don't know about that.
19:44
Oh, it's struggling to stir it. It is
19:46
struggling to stir it. I can't do it.
19:48
Oh, it's struggling.
19:51
I mean, if I have to stir it myself,
19:53
what's the point of having automatic
19:54
stirring? Let's see what happens on the
19:56
next round of stirring. What's it going
19:58
to do? I mean, it's kind of doing it. In
20:00
some ways, it's kind of just pushing
20:01
around, but it it's I don't know, man.
20:03
I'm a little skeptical. I can already
20:05
tell you out here, this isn't going to
20:06
get touched. That's going to stay there.
20:07
So, you still have to stir it yourself.
20:09
Even though it's an automatic stirring
20:11
mechanism. Well, that's it for my worst
20:12
of 2025. And I hope you enjoyed a look
20:14
back at the dark side of freaking
20:16
reviews. And now it's on to 2026 where
20:18
we find our next set of clunkers that
20:20
I'll be talking about next year. I
20:21
appreciate you watching and I'll see you
20:23
next time.
