Paul Parker: Venables urged me to talk to Man Utd

Paul Parker recalls how he signed for Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United. Parker, who joined United from QPR, revisits how he turned down an approach from Arsenal and also held extensive talks with Tottenham and their manager Terry Venables before United called. Rather than push Parker to sign with Spurs, Paul recalls how Venables urged him to speak with United "otherwise you'll regret it".
