Hantavirus cruise ship arrives in the Netherlands to be disinfected

The MV Hondius has arrived in Rotterdam, where the crew will disembark and the ship will be disinfected. Despite fears of a widespread outbreak, the World Health Organisation has maintained its assessment of this hantavirus outbreak is of low risk. Disease specialists say a global pandemic of the deadly virus is very unlikely. So far, three people have died in the outbreak.
