French PM survives no-confidence motions

The French ​government survived two votes ⁠of no-confidence in parliament on January 23 that had had been called ​over its decision ‍to ram through the income ​part of the 2026 budget without ​giving the National Assembly the final say. This comes after a three-month deadlock in Parliament, with French PM calling the move a last resort despite promising to not use it. FRANCE 24's Olivia Bizot tells us more from Paris.
