It amazes me the wide variety of ways I see plastic worms used. On my website, I show several of these techniques, but there is one thing they have in common. This is the process of SLOWING DOWN. Many pros like Bill Dance have stated over and over again that when the going gets tough.... you slow down.
It honestly doesn't matter, which lure you're talking about either. However, it is almost always true with plastic worms. That is really a lot of newer anglers give up on it. They want to quick hit of adrenaline that TV gives you that only shows professionals catching fish every 15 seconds. If only fishing were that good every day you were out on the water.
The rewards of fishing slow can definitely be felt if you give it a try. I will be reminding myself to do the same when I am out on the water.
