As you have probably observed frog fishing was a one way thinking fishing lure. It had the body shape with no real limbs. Just some tassles in the back that look like.....tassles.
For some reason this fooled fish and still does today. So why make a lure look more life-like? Well lunkerhunt set out on that mission and they have definitely made it a reality. I believe this is the most like and functioning frog fishing lure I have seen.
However, it has several flaws that could be easily fixed. Weighted hooks to previous rollover. That is the big one. I am really starting to understand why Patrick Sebile went with a single big hook for this Sebile Pivot Frog. Now that I lost it... I want it back!
If you are thinking about getting one of these give it a try. It is not too expensive, but I would recommend adding weight to the hook and maybe not buying the pocket variety unless you have ultralight gear.
