That really really helps us out. Guys you know we all saw what we saw at that

debate. No matter how much the Democrats try to pretend we didn't see

or and hear what we saw and heard, we know what we saw and heard. We heard an

old man who sounds like he has dementia, I'm not saying he does, but I think to my

untrained ears and to my untrained eyes looks and sounds like he has dementia

and now they're doing damage control or trying to but the American people

aren't buying it. The CBS released a new poll this morning that shows 27% and

only 27% of voters believe that Joe Biden is cognitively able to finish

another four years as president. Now I'd like to meet that 27% of people and ask

them what they watched on Thursday. Maybe it was reruns of Seinfeld you

know Thursday night Seinfeld. Maybe that's what they were watching. Great show. It's possible. Maybe they were watching cartoons. Maybe they were

watching the inside of their eyelids. I don't know. But if they were watching

that debate, that 27% which is a very small number, I mean this is the

presidency we're talking about, but what were they watching? How could they possibly think? How could even 1% of people think this guy can finish

four more years? I don't believe it. But the poll actually gets worse for

Biden than that. I want you to watch what they reported here about this

Good morning and welcome to face the nation. We begin this morning with

reaction to the first presidential debate of 2024. Our polling unit asked

voters how they view the candidates now, including their cognitive health. The

results are not encouraging for the president. The number of voters who say

President Biden has the cognitive ability to serve has dropped from 35

earlier this month to 27% after the debate. That's the lowest number since

CBS began asking voters that question last September. Nearly three quarters of all registered voters now say he shouldn't be running, and nearly half

of Democrats say he shouldn't remain the nominee. An extraordinary number for an incumbent who didn't face a competitive primary

primary. We should also note that half of all voters also say former

President Trump does not have the cognitive health to serve. Voters give

former President Trump a significant edge, though, when asked which candidate explained his ideas clearly inspired confidence and appeared presidential
