Hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America on YouTube and the White House
0:05
has finally commented on what President Joe Biden plans to do if Hunter Biden, his son
0:13
is convicted on tax fraud charges. Before we get started please remember to like, comment
0:19
share and subscribe. Those little things of course really help us out and they help our
0:24
channel continue to grow. So, Karine Jampier was speaking to reporters when obviously the
0:30
subject of the Hunter Biden indictments was brought to her attention. Now these reporters
0:36
were asking, you know, how does the President feel about it? Is he still proud of his son
0:41
Do they still talk on a regular basis? These are the kind of questions that are normal and
0:47
of course you'd want to know the answers to them but they don't involve presidential power
0:52
They don't involve what President Joe Biden could do to actually assist his son
0:57
should push come to shove and he be convicted of these charges and that's been a subject of a lot
1:03
of debate. A lot of people are wondering will Joe Biden wield his presidential power? I mean
1:08
listen, his whole life Hunter Biden's been getting out of jams because of his father. Will he do it again? Will he pull a rabbit out of the hat? Let's take a look at what she said
1:16
A few questions on the Hunter Biden case. Any reaction to what we saw last night
1:22
new charges and then I have a follow-up. Sure. Look, I mean the President has said this before
1:28
and he will continue to say which is that he loves his son and supports him as he continues
1:34
to rebuild his life. I'm going to be really careful and not comment on this and refer you
1:38
to Department of Justice or my colleagues at the White House Council but that's what I'm going to
1:43
I'm not going to go beyond telling you all what the President has said over and over again
1:48
He's proud of his son and he is and building his life back up. Sure. I know he wants to
1:56
charge us directly but can you speak at least to the emotional toll
2:00
the charges are having on the President? I'm just not going to comment beyond what I just shared
2:03
Are they speaking to each other? I'm not gonna and this is we've been pretty consistent on this
2:08
I'm not going to comment on private conversation that the President has with his family members
2:13
One more on this, only because you've said it before, I just want to re-up in light of these
2:17
new charges. You said before that the President would not pardon his son. Is that still the case
2:24
Nothing has changed. That is still the case. So she's saying right now that he won't pardon him
2:28
but here's my thoughts on this. A couple of things. One, if he's convicted before the 2024 election
2:36
and sentenced to prison, no he will not convict him. I mean he will not pardon him before the
2:42
2024 election. However, if he were to lose the 2024 election to President Donald Trump or former
2:50
President Donald Trump, I do believe at that time before he left office he would absolutely pardon
2:55
his son. He has nothing to gain by not doing it and I think if he wins the 2024 election
3:03
one of his first things would be to pardon his son because there's nothing you could do about it now. You can't you can't unelect him. So either way, I think he absolutely would despite what he says
3:13
I believe he absolutely would pardon his son. I think a lot of parents would. Let me know what
3:17
you think in the comments. Also guys, please remember to like, share, and subscribe. It
3:22
really helps us out. I'm Carmine Sabia. This is Explained America on YouTube. We love you guys
