Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America, and you guys know former
0:05
President Donald Trump, he's not frightened at anybody, and he just proved it again
0:10
Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe
0:14
Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow
0:19
The former president did what not many candidates, in fact I can't think of any candidate in history
0:24
has done, as he tore into a crowd, he actually tore the crowd to shreds this weekend
0:31
But what he did that I can't remember any major party candidate doing
0:36
was he went to the Libertarian National Convention, he asked them for their vote
0:40
he asked them to nominate him as the Libertarian candidate as well as the Republican candidate
0:45
He said, look, if you guys want to win, I'm your guy. Well what happened was, a cascade of boos rained down on the former president
0:55
Why? Because a lot of Libertarians, they just hate both political parties
1:01
a lot of people say they just want to see the world burn. I disagree with that, I agree with a lot of Libertarian positions, but not all of them
1:09
You know, I think they're more like us than certainly the Democrats are, and I think they should see that, and see this outreach as, hey look
1:17
we can get some of your policies onto the national stage. But they didn't see it that way
1:22
No, they want all or nothing. They want their little rinky-dink candidate, whoever it's going to be
1:27
who's going to get maybe 3% of the vote nationwide to be their candidate
1:32
Because some people say, hey, I'd rather have nothing than have something
1:37
I find that to be a tremendous mistake, but the point is a major party candidate finally reached out to you
1:44
and you acted like this. And this is why other major party candidates won't reach out to you in the future
1:51
You had a chance to have a seat at the table, and you ruined it
1:56
Now, I will say that at the end of the speech, Trump did get them to cheer for him
2:00
There was some cheers for him during the speech as well, but a lot of boos. The boos were very loud, because it was set up that way
2:07
RFK Jr. played a role in that, handing out rubber chickens to people at the convention
2:12
to make noise while Trump was giving his speech, which is very childish
2:16
But I want you to see what happened here, and I want you to see how Trump tears them to shreds during the speech and mocks them to their face
2:23
Let's take a look. World Health Organization, not a good thing. I passed the most significant, and this is so important
2:35
but I passed the most significant criminal justice reform in history. And perhaps my proudest accomplishment is to have exposed the
2:44
depth of corruption in the Washington swamp. Thanks to me, the entire world knows that the deep state is real
2:51
and the lamestream media, the lamestream media is fake. It's fake. A great libertarian, who may very well be in the room right now, I believe
3:09
but he's a great libertarian. D. Roy Murdoch, who I've become friends with through his writings in The American Spectator
3:17
and numerous other places, wrote an article yesterday in which he mentions
3:22
just some of the things that make me a libertarian without even trying to be one
3:27
That's nice. D. Roy wrote, Donald J. Trump will address the libertarian party
3:37
the libertarian party, and his national convention on Saturday. The libertarian party should nominate Trump for president of the United States. Whoa
3:48
That's nice. That's nice. Only if you want to win. Only if you want to win
3:58
Maybe you don't want to win. Maybe you don't want to win
4:05
Thank you, D. Roy. Thank you. No, only do that if you want to win
4:10
If you want to lose, don't do that. Keep getting your 3% every four years
4:18
The reasons for doing so, policy
