0:26
and get conservative news to people who really need it. Now, before we begin today's story, I want to say Merry Christmas
0:32
to all of you and your families. You won't be seeing us this weekend. We'll be back on Monday, but our stories will be here
0:39
Our stories will still be here. You just won't see me on video for two days. So I want to say Merry Christmas to you guys, to you and all your families
0:46
And another Merry Christmas to Brittany Greiner, who's finally back home. And that's got to be a great thing to be back home in the oppressive
0:55
country of America, where you won't stand for the national anthem. And you talk about how rough things are for you
1:01
And you got a taste now of how rough things are outside of America
1:06
And that's what Tommy Laram was saying in a new interview that she posted. And she was talking about how what she wants to see from Brittany Greiner
1:14
now is her at court side on her feet, standing tall and belting out the national anthem at the top of her lungs
1:21
It is something that it would be a good example for people to say, hey, look
1:27
you know, you're back home and and you've learned something. You've learned to appreciate this country
1:35
which is the greatest country in the world. And you understand that there's places
1:41
that are much, much worse than America. Also, what what Tommy said is she was really disturbed
1:47
that Greiner was traded for the merchant of death, Victor Boot, because we still left the Marine Paul Whelan behind
1:56
And what she said was and it makes sense. She said it must pay to be a celebrity who plays sports
2:03
because that's that's what got that done in her mind. And it's hard not to see that argument
2:10
We left the Marine there. We left somebody who sacrificed his life for this country, literally
2:15
I mean, he's still alive, but years in a Russian prison right now
2:19
And he risked his life for this country. So you're talking about leaving a Marine behind
2:24
but getting a basketball player back. Now, we don't know what happened behind the scenes
2:28
We don't know if Whelan was ever on the table. The administration says no
2:33
But Victor Boot was the biggest trade ship we had with Russia
2:37
He was the biggest he was the biggest dangling trade ship we had. And we spent him on Brittany Greiner
2:43
And I'm glad Brittany's home. I absolutely am glad she's home in America
2:48
because I want every American home and safe and warm with their families
2:52
snug in their beds for Christmas. I really do. Every American. I hate that Paul Whelan is waking up in Russia on Christmas morning
3:01
And so does Tommy Lahren. And so do a lot of you and so do a lot of Americans
3:07
I find it hard to believe that that the Biden administration could not have made a better deal, could not have gotten Whelan back
3:15
because this guy's back on the battlefield. By all accounts, he is back on the battlefield and helping Russia
3:22
in their effort against Ukraine. And that that's a steep price to pay
3:27
Folks, thank you so much for watching. Explain America today again. I'm your host, Carmine Sabia
