Hey, ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia 4, Explain America
0:04
and Representative Rashida Taleb is once again facing calls to have her removed from Congress
0:11
Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe
0:15
Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow
0:20
So, you know, there's things that are obvious, I think, to most people
0:27
and yet there's always one or two Democrats that find a way to just drop the ball and be stupid
0:35
at a time when stupidity is not called for. Rashida Talib is usually one of these people and her cohort, Corey Bush, also one of these people
0:48
And they both are actually being asked to be removed from Congress by a lot of people on social media
0:54
And the reason is because a bill came to the floor. of the House just yesterday to bar anyone who participated in the October 7th attacks in Israel
1:06
by Hamas from ever being immigrated into the United States Now this seems like an easy one right Not for Cory Bush and Rashida Thelib And one other Democrat who just voted present You know who did vote in favor of the bill
1:23
Ilhan Omar! You know who did vote in favor of the bill
1:28
Alexandria O'Sheaquoise. You know why? Because it's easy. This was an easy one. And they blew it
1:36
I want you to watch this story on it. And then I want you to tell me if you think she should be removed from Congress
1:41
so please remember to like, comment, share, and subscribe. I'm Carmine Sabia for Explained America
1:47
We love you guys. God bless you. Take care, everybody. As you know, Hamas murdered more than 1,400 Israelis
2:00
and they still hold more than a hundred of them hostage somewhere
2:04
So it would seem that banning them from entering the United States
2:08
would be a no-brainer, right? But apparently squad members Rashida Taleb and Corey Bush disagree as the only two members of Congress voting against a ban last night
2:19
Let them in, they say. Fox and Friends, we can co-host Pete Hegstead joins us right now from the Hegsteth compound
2:26
Pete you know let just examine it They are Hamas terrorists Okay Hamas murdered all those people and they terrorists I don think I let either one of them in but both of them are okay with them
2:43
Absolutely. It's actually very forward-looking for them. They're looking out for higher education
2:49
Who are going to be the guest lectures at Harvard and Columbia and the University of Michigan without Hamas terrorists
2:54
They were in short supplier or special guests at their Democratic Socialist
3:00
of America fundraisers between the two of them. You know, the nickname for their group has been
3:05
and they've sort of denied it, right? The Hamas Caucus, the squad, the Hamas caucus
3:10
Well, now two of them have just come out and said, well, we're okay with Hamas entering the United States
3:16
They say the law is redundant, Steve. That's their argument. The argument they're saying it would already be on the books
3:21
that these people would not be allowed in. Really? Have you seen our immigration system
3:27
By the way, if Hamas members wanted to get into our country, just get a one-way ticket to Mexico City
3:32
And that's currently the easiest way to get into our country. So it doesn't actually bar them because of our open borders
3:39
but it is demonstrative of their upside world which says no the real terrorists are the United States of America are the IDF and the freedom fighters are the Hamas terrorists who massacred 1 innocent people
3:53
That's their worldview, and their elected members of Congress, and their voters continue to
3:57
vote for them. It's who they are, and we should believe them at this point. Well, you know, Taleb put out a statement last night afterwards, and you know who she
4:04
blames for this whole thing? Republicans, of course. She writes, it's just another Republican messaging bill being used to incisely
4:13
anti-Arab, anti-Palestinian, and anti-Muslim hatred that makes communities like ours unsafe. It's very clear
4:21
We don't want Hamas here. We don't want terrorists here. It's that easy
4:27
Yes. Or if you want to represent the Muslim community, stand up and say, yes, we are pro-Muslim, pro-Arab, pro-Palestine, but we are anti-Hamas
4:37
And we want to be very clear about who we are and who we aren't. And she failed in that test
4:42
All right. Meanwhile, let's talk about something else that happened on Capitol Hill yesterday
4:46
The Senate Judiciary Committee brought in some of the big shots from the social media companies that we know that their products give a dopamine
