Removal Notice - AOC Gets The News After House Speech

Hey ladies and gentlemen this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

just gave a speech in front of the house that has people calling for her to be removed immediately

have called Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, that squad, they've given them the nickname of the Jihad squad. They have said that these women are

anti-semitic, that they're against Israel, that they support Israel's enemies and it's hard to

make a case that they're not correct. When you see what Omar and you know Omar is probably the best

one of the bunch believe it or not. You see AOC and Tlaib and what they call for it's absolutely

horrible and their main point of concern it seems to be right now at least AOC in the speech is that

Israel's response is not proportionate. 1,100 people were killed in Israel and over 27,000

in Gaza. Well responses aren't proportionate. After 9-11 was our response proportionate

Did we just kill 3,000 people over in Iraq and Afghanistan? No. Now you can debate whether

that's right or wrong but you're fighting for your life. These people want to attack you

Hamas attacks civilians. If you let Hamas live, if you let Hamas as a group live after this

if you allow that organization to continue you're setting your civilians up for a future attack

Apparently either AOC does not understand this or she just doesn't care. Either way her rhetoric is

dangerous and could lead to the loss of more lives in my opinion. I want you to watch what she says

Take care everybody. More than 1,200 Israelis were killed on October 7th and 136 remain

hostage. In response 27,478 Palestinians have been killed 70% of whom are women and children

and most Gazans today cannot reach a fully functioning hospital. This is not war. This

is slaughter and yet after all this destruction and devastation the Netanyahu government is still

nowhere close to their stated objective of destroying Hamas. Moreover the United States

has our own requirements outlawing the transfer of weapons to forces engaged in gross human rights

violations. We have a responsibility to honor those laws, to facilitate a bilateral ceasefire

to move to end this campaign of mass casualty and loss of life that risks bringing the entire

region closer to a wider deadlier conflict. This bill contains 17 billion dollars on top of the

billions we already transfer every year with no conditions and no humanitarian aid for the most

vulnerable. Everyday Americans should not tolerate this squandering of our resources without oversight

on such an inhumane and ineffective operation especially when we are living paycheck to

paycheck and and they cannot see their congress address their most basic material concerns. I yield back
