Press Briefing Goes Off The Rails — Jean-Pierre SNAPS After Judge’s Ruling

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America

And things got chaotic today at the White House briefing room when Corrine Jean-Pierre was confronted about the end of Title 42

and the surge of migrants at the southern border. Please like, share, comment and subscribe

So Corrine Jean-Pierre was confronted about both the death of a child and a migrant child in U.S. custody

And about the end of Title 42, the surge at the southern border. And then she was asked about a federal judge who actually sided with Florida

saying that the Biden administration could not parole some migrants instead of imprisoning them or instead of detaining them

See, by federal law, they have to be detained. And Biden couldn't just, with a swipe of a pen, change that law

That's what this judge, who was appointed by former President Donald Trump, we must say, ruled

But Corrine Jean-Pierre, she lost her mind when asked about it. Let's take a look

On the ruling in Florida last night against these releases and the Biden administration's statement in that legal filing

that 45,000 individuals are going to be in custody by the end of this month

We're not able to go forward with this process of releases. What's the backup plan now

So let me just say on the ruling that you just you just laid out to me

So look, the way we see that it's sabotage. It's pure and simple

That's how that reads to us. The claims that CBP is allowing or encouraging mass release of migrants

and is just categorically false. That is not what's occurring. That is not what's happening

And it is a it is a harmful ruling. And the Department of Justice is going to fight it

That's what we're going to see. And we're going to continue to use every tool that we have

to make sure that we are dealing with this issue in a humane and orderly way

And and so just last night, ICE announced that it is adding thousands more beds

But look, Republican elected officials continue to play games here. They continue to have political stunts and they don't want to solve this problem

They want to use it again as a as a campaign tool for them

And so what we want to make sure is deal with this challenging circumstances

That's what we have done since day one of this administration. Sabotage. She accused them of sabotage

You know, these are the same people who say we must respect our institutions

who get angry at President Donald Trump when he says something about the judge in New York, who get angry at the Supreme Court

who get angry at Justice Clarence Thomas. So only they apparently can disrespect institutions

and disrespect judges' decisions and accuse them of sabotage. This is a serious crisis

And blaming all the congressmen in the world and blaming all the Republicans you want to blame is not going to change the fact that this lies at the feet

of President Joe Biden, who campaigned on a policy of relaxing the rules at the border and has so far followed through on them

Only starting to get tough now when the polls are changing and when things aren't working out quite the way he wanted them to

So now you want to claim sabotage? She should be ashamed of herself

She should be ashamed of herself and the White House should be ashamed. But they have no shame
