Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and Kamala Harris
0:05
worst nightmare just came true. Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share and subscribe
0:13
Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow
0:18
And if you're voting for Donald Trump in 2024, hit that join button and become a member of
0:22
this channel. The last thing Kamala Harris needed was for skeletons from her closet to come out into
0:31
the open again. For those of you unfamiliar, Kamala Harris got her start in the world of politics in
0:38
a relationship with Willie Brown. Willie Brown was the mayor of San Francisco
0:50
He gave Kamala Harris some cushy government jobs. He then went on to really endorse her for the role of district attorney
1:04
She later went on to become California Attorney General. All these things kind of happened
1:10
Senator, they kind of all fell into her lap from there with the political machine behind her
1:16
But it all started with Willie Brown. And there's a series of things that a lot of people feel are unearned power that Harris
1:24
has received. And it all started here. So the last thing she actually needs is Willie Brown to say anything
1:32
But Willie, he just couldn't keep it zipped. He couldn't keep it zipped again
1:41
He gave his endorsement that I think she probably wasn't asking for to Kamala Harris
1:46
And it's got everybody talking about him again, which is a complete nightmare for her
1:51
But I want you to hear some of the things he said in this interview. And then, well, let me know what you think in the comments
1:58
It's probably the most unusual day we will have. And it was made that way simply because all the people, including Biden's, stretched it
2:12
out for three weeks. And every day there was a question, is something happening that makes sense on this issue
2:20
And then suddenly on Sunday, midday, it's all gone. Now you have to do a real story
2:28
Is it historic? It is historic. Of course it is. And everybody wants desperately to be a part of it
2:35
And it will be even more historic when it turns out, in fact, then Biden offering the
2:43
torch to his designated successor, Kamala Harris. Should Kamala Harris be in charge of the ticket now
2:54
Kamala Harris will be in charge of the ticket. She is probably the one person that can beat Trump
3:00
And the goal of Democrats, in spite of their antics in the last three weeks, have been
3:05
to beat Trump. Where do we go now? I mean, you know, Nancy Pelosi has come out and she, you know, has been kind of behind
3:13
the scenes in the past couple of weeks, kind of making noise about it should be an open process
3:20
We've got weeks before the DNC. What do you see happening? Well, I don't know when it's ever been a real open process
3:30
I think the public knows that if there is a convention, the people who are in attendance
3:36
at the convention in Chicago actually are the people who are doing and making the choices
3:44
And that's not an open process. It's obviously open if you can afford to attend in Chicago in mid-August
3:53
But if you are on the streets in San Francisco and you are a working person, a waiter or
4:00
dishwasher or bus driver or even an Uber driver, it's not an open process because your voice
4:08
is not being heard
