January 6 Committee Blindsided - Sued By Star Witness' Attorney

Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and there's some

tough news for the highly partisan January 6th Committee. They're getting dragged to court

Those little things really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow

The January 6th Committee has been sued. And they've been sued by the attorney of one of their star witnesses

That woman, Cassidy Hutchinson. Her attorney is suing them because he said that they misrepresented what he said to

his client and took it just as verbatim fact even though it wasn't

See, the committee said that he pressured her to stay on Trump's side during her testimony

before the House. And he's saying that never happened. They have no evidence of that happening

And he wants remuneration from it. Now, what he did was in December he filed a lawsuit and the January 6th Committee

the government, had until April 15th to respond to this lawsuit. But they didn't respond

And what can happen in some of these cases, and often does, is that a judgment is made

a default judgment is made for the suing party. Now he just filed paperwork this week to ask the judge to give him that default judgment

Tremendously bad news for the January 6th Committee, which has been very maligned recently

The fact that it's coming from Cassidy Hutchinson's attorney, and I think Cassidy Hutchinson is

just an opportunist, is an even bigger deal. I want you to watch this recent video of Cassidy Hutchinson, who apparently, nobody knew who

this woman was really, barely anybody knew who she was, until she went against Trump

Now she's making the media rounds. I want you to take a look at this interview with her, basically, in my opinion, just bowing

before the Democrat party, so she can get some more appearances and make some more money

My door is and has been completely shut to voting for Donald Trump in 2024

Does that mean you'll consider voting for President Biden? I would absolutely consider voting for President Biden

I would encourage, I would never tell Americans how to vote, but I do know there are a lot

of Americans who currently are on the fence about who to vote for. And these are active conversations that we need to engage in over the next six, seven months

But I would encourage people on that fence to really do a deep dive and look at the damage

that Donald Trump has done to our democracy, and what he would continue to do in a potential

second Trump term, and to really weigh that when they're considering who to vote for

You know, and to tie all this together, the fake elector scheme, Trump running for office

again, the people that he's been considering for Vice President, we've interviewed some

of them and asked, you know, would you do what Mike Pence did on January 6th

Several of them have said no. I mean, the soul of the Republican Party has been completely usurped and taken advantage

of by Donald Trump. And that's something that he has done somewhat successfully. I will give him credit where it's due

He's a very good liar and manipulator, and he has manipulated the entire, almost the

entire Republican Party, especially in Congress right now, to be the party of his image

And it's really unfortunate that we see a lot of individuals who I once regarded as

noble statesmen or the future of the Republican Party to disregard the rule of law and the

Constitution in the way that they are now. Cassidy Hutchinson
