Fox News Removes Host From 'The Five' Without Warning - He Has Message For Show's Fans

Hello ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and another day

another puzzling move by the Fox News Network. This time tinkering with its very popular show

The Five, which was second really to Tucker Carlson. They actually battled back and forth

for a while for first and second. And you know, so sometimes The Five was actually first

And they're tinkering with their two most popular shows. They've removed the host from, again

the very popular show, The Five. We're going to get right to that. But before we get started

Those little things, they really help us out and they help our channel continue to grow and bring

the conservative message to the people that are not getting it from the mainstream sources

So a lot of you guys are not going to cry about this, right? Geraldo Rivera is the host that's been removed for a time from The Five, but it's how it happened

that's interesting. Just like Tucker Carlson, he did not know until moments before he was set to be

on the show. It came out of nowhere and he was removed from the Thursday and Friday shows

Now Geraldo believes he's going to be back next week, but unless Geraldo has some information

he's not sharing with the rest of us, there's actually no evidence he's going to be back next

week or back ever. Let's take a look at what he tweeted real quick. My appearances today and

tomorrow on The Five have been canceled. I'm sure there's a good reason. Never fear. I'll be back

week after next. Stay safe and happy. Thanks. So actually I was incorrect. It's week after next

that he's going to be back, he says. But why? Why the sudden departure and why now in the absence

of Dan Bongino and Tucker Carlson from the network? Now I know a lot of you guys are thinking, hey

Geraldo is actually the liberal voice on there, so who really cares, right? But it's the dichotomy of a show. It is the balance of a show. It's the arguments on a show

that actually make the show entertaining and enjoyable for a lot of people. Not for everybody

A lot of people would like to see Geraldo go away. Before him it was Juan Williams they wanted

to see go away. It's just like the rotating conservative seat on The View. Some liberals

just want a five liberal show, right? But I think a lot of people enjoy the banter, the perspective

They enjoy watching Gutfeld and Waters tear into Geraldo. But it actually speaks to something a

lot bigger than Geraldo. We were talking the other day about Hannity's ratings in the tank, right

We were talking about Jeanine Pirro and Maria Bartiromo possibly being on the chopping block

Fox News is in a state of flux right now. Their ratings are cratering. They're being boycotted

They're making rash decisions and quick moves. And none of that bodes well for a business

let alone a business that is so high profile, so high priced, number one, top of the game

All I know is Fox News really needs to get its act together quick and figure out exactly what

they're going to do with the rest of their shows and their company. Because right now

it's like a boxer in the ring just wildly swinging and praying that he hits something
