Chaos On 'The View' - Whoopi Goldberg Facing Calls To Be Fired After Insulting Christians, God

Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America and VIEW host, actress

and alleged comedian Whoopi Goldberg is in serious hot water and fans are calling for

her to finally, once and for all, be fired from the ABC daytime talk show

Now Whoopi Goldberg is a lightning rod for controversy. We all know this

She does it almost every day on The View with a group of people and I always find humor

in this. Whoopi, Sunny and Joy. Three of the happiest names you're ever going to hear

Three of the most miserable people you're ever going to see. They do it every day

They're very angry. They're very, you know, just they have this elitist attitude about them towards other people

People, it appears to me, that they feel are beneath them. Now Whoopi sometimes is not like this

Whoopi a lot of times, believe it or not, will play it kind of more laid back

She'll try and say, well she understands and she sympathizes with this group or that group

and I think she tried to do that here and totally failed

What they were talking about was former President Donald Trump appearing at the Faith and Freedom

Convention this past weekend. Now at the convention, the former president touted the new justices that he put on the

Supreme Court and the final ending of Roe vs. Wade protections for abortions in the

Dobbs decision. Now, of course, this particular thing is very, very important to the women on The View, to

a lot of liberal women. Abortion, very big issue for them. So they're already not happy

Now the evangelical Christians, of course, cheered for this decision when Trump was talking

about it, as we all would, right? On our side of the aisle, we're Christians

We don't want to see babies being killed. It's a win. It's a victory for life

Not just for us, but for life, for God, for the babies, the unborn babies who are victims

of this brutal, barbaric process. Okay, so fast forward to The View

The View is talking about it and they're talking about the response that comes from the Christians

and the Christians cheering it and also cheering and booing different things that former President

Trump said at the convention. When Whoopi Goldberg comes out and says, basically, that the evangelicals are going to find out

that God may not be on their side the way they think he is

I found that to be abhorrent. A lot of people found that to be abhorrent

When you attack people's religion, their deeply held beliefs, their faith, when you attack

God in such a way as it offends Christians, which, by the way, we seem to be the only

group left that it's okay to offend. You can offend Christians. That's fine

I don't understand it, but I kind of do understand it because it's biblical

We know we're going to be persecuted eventually, right? So this obviously set off a firestorm

She's basically saying, well, you know, these poor evangelicals, they're too silly to know

what they're talking about when it comes to the Bible. They don't know what they're talking about

They don't know what God wants. And of course, none of us know for sure what God wants

But a lot of people do know what's written in the Bible

Thou shalt not kill, very big commandment. It's one of the big ten

And to us, an unborn baby, God said, he breathed life to you in the womb

He knew you were before you were born. That to me says that that is a life in the womb

So yeah, when we see an abortion, we consider it murder and we are going to cheer for that

And for Whoopi Goldberg to say that God may not be on our side, you know, hey, look, Whoopi

none of us speaks for God, including you. And that was just a really rude thing to say
