Chaos In The House - Motion To Remove Speaker Johnson

Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia Jr. for Explain America with breaking news coming

to grow. Today the house passed an over one trillion dollar omnibus bill. In this bill

is a plethora of ridiculousness but the one that stood out to me most, allegedly

over $350,000 given to Jon Fetterman to host a podcast. And I'm wondering

where's the money for our podcast in there? I could use $350,000. Why is only Jon Fetterman

getting $350,000? Are you kidding me? And folks, this is the tip of the iceberg. If you read this

bill, it is chock full of insanity, insane spending. I can't even say some of the things

here because we'll get flagged. But schools for people who want to live certain lifestyles and do

certain things to their bodies and all kinds of stuff like that is in this bill. Funding for all

kinds of nonsense that none of us want. Why have a Republican majority if this is what you get

And so Marjorie Taylor Greene has taken the step to vacate the chair, to remove

Speaker Johnson. And in spirit, I agree with her. Here's why it won't work

Representative Gallagher announced today that he will be retiring, leaving the Congress in April

Now that gives us a one vote majority. We couldn't get the votes to elect Speaker Johnson

for a long time. We couldn't get the votes to elect Speaker McCarthy for a long time because

our majority is so razor thin. With a one vote majority, we're at their mercy. We are one

representative selfishly walking away, selfishly in a temper tantrum like Ken Buck did, like

Gallagher did, selfishly walking away to actually have Speaker Jeffries of the Democrats. Without an

election, we can get Speaker Jeffries. That is today's Republican Party. And I have to tell you

to go out there and vote for them because the alternative is so much worse. But we got to get

rid of these rhinos and get real fighters in there. Real Republicans. Marjorie Taylor Greene explained

why she was against this bill and talked about removing the Speaker. And I want you to watch

of the omnibus bill. No Republican in the House of Representatives in good conscience can vote

for this bill. It is a complete departure of all of our principles, especially if you call yourself

pro-life. This bill funds full term abortion. This is not a Republican bill. This is a Chuck

Schumer Democrat controlled bill coming from the House majority that is supposed to be controlled

by Republicans. But yet our majority has been completely... Members are reminded to direct their

remarks to the chair, please. Madam Speaker, it is the will of our voters and it is the will

of Republicans across the country that this bill should not be brought to the floor

that this bill will absolutely destroy our majority and will tell every single one of our voters

that this majority is a failure. This is the bill that the White House cannot wait to sign into law

This is the bill that rips our border wide open and tells every single person in over 160 countries

around the world, they can invade our country. They can run over our border patrol. They can run

over our Texas National Guard. They can come in, rape our women, murder our people, and squat and

take over our homes. This is an atrocious attack on the American people. The Speaker of the House

should not bring it to the floor and this bill should not pass
