Hey ladies and gentlemen, this is Carmine Sabia for Explain America, and it looks like
0:05
the Biden administration really can't help themselves from controlling your life, even
0:10
the amount of beer you drink in a week. That's right, they want to put limits on how much beer you can drink
0:18
Before we get started, please make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe
0:22
Those little things really help us out, and they help our channel continue to grow
0:27
So it looks like Joe Biden's administration has an alcohol czar. Can you believe that
0:33
An alcohol czar. We have that in this country. I had no idea until right now that we had an alcohol czar in this country
0:40
A czar of alcohol. Do we really need that? I digress. The czar of alcohol, and that's just a nickname of course, but the czar of alcohol gave an
0:50
interview to the Daily Mail where he indicated that the amount of drinks that Americans have
0:56
is way too high, and he's looking to put a limit on it like Canada does
1:02
And this will be up for debate basically in 2025. So the limit he wants to put on it, he said it's not going to get higher, it's going to
1:10
move probably closer to Canada's. Canada's is lower. You want to take a guess at what Canada's is
1:17
The Canadian limit on beer for an adult human is two beers per week
1:27
Per week. Now I myself don't drink and I don't partake of beer so it doesn't affect me one way or
1:32
the other, but it doesn't really matter if it affects me, does it
1:36
Because it's another in the long list of things they want to control, be it gas stoves, ceiling
1:42
fans, air conditioners, refrigerators, washers, dryers, electric cars, it's all part of this
1:50
control scheme. And so he says now he wants by 2025 he wants the recommended limit to be two beers per week
1:58
Now I want to point out to you that this is not enforceable by law
2:02
He can't enforce this through law. It's only enforceable if you choose to go by the recommendations
2:10
So currently the recommendations for an adult human is two drinks per day
2:15
Two beers, two glasses of wine, two shots. That's for an adult male
2:20
For an adult female, it's one drink per day. Same thing. One wine, one beer, one shot
2:26
Even the director of the alcohol czar said he enjoys a few glasses of Chardonnay every week
2:31
So you know, I mean, if the recommendations do come to pass, and again, I want to stress
2:37
they're just recommendations, but if the recommendations do come to pass, will you
2:42
listen to them? You know, they say it's not enforceable by law, but I remember a time when, you know
2:48
vaccines weren't enforceable by law, but now they are. So you know, how long will it not be enforceable by law
2:55
And if it was enforceable by law, how would they possibly, possibly monitor it
3:02
That's why I don't think it can be enforceable by law. Be that as it may, it's still another way for them to control you and control what
3:09
you do, control what you think, and control how you operate in this world
3:14
And I don't like, I don't like it one bit. I don't like when the government makes any kind of recommendations about anything because
3:19
well, it's very hard for me to trust that they have our best interest at heart
3:22
Now, he says there are some health benefits to drinking, but that they're far outweighed
3:27
by the health risks. And he said that most, you know, of the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet are from
3:34
the food, not from the alcohol. So take that with a grain of salt because there's other studies that say drinking does
3:40
have benefits. But I want to know what you think about this story. Will you follow the recommendations
3:46
Let me know in the comments. Also, please remember to like, share, and subscribe
3:49
That really helps us out. I'm Carmine Sabia. This is Explained America
