New Launches of Designer sunglasses, footwear and perfume
Feb 22, 2023
Oakley’s new Kokoro sunglasses collection was launched last week and it’s unlike any other collections the brand has ever had. Oakley teamed up with famous artist Meguru Yamaguchi in order to create unique and bold styles designed to inspire and unite athletes all over the globe through a shared love of sport.
This collection isn’t just about releasing top-of-the-line sunglasses, it is a statement of solidarity providing athletes who during these uncertain times can’t compete with all the hope and support. To express the unique mind, and spirit of competitors, Yamaguchi used a custom-made machine that replicated his distinct brushstrokes onto the sunglasses. In addition, each piece is equipped with Oakley’s leading Prizm Lens Technology that’s proven to enhance color and contrast allowing users to see in more detail.

Portland-based footwear company KEEN has teamed up with the Jerry Garcia family to create a new, limited-edition collection that celebrates and honors the late singer’s artwork and activism.
The collection, which is set to launch on August 1st on keenfootwear.com, will feature two of KEEN’s most popular sandal styles with colors and motifs from Garcia’s watercolor paintings. Though Jerry Garcia is best known to us as a singer and guitarist with The Grateful Dead, he also has produced more than 2,000 paintings, sketches and illustrations, many of which are still shown in art galleries around the world today.

If you've ever wondered what space smells like, a new perfume may answer that question for you. A Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign was recently launched for a new fragrance called Eau de Space to bring the smell of outer space back down to Earth. The fragrance was developed by Steve Pearce, a chemist and the founder of Omega Ingredients, a company focused on the "creation of the highest quality, provenance driven, natural flavours and ingredients for the food and beverage industry," The company says Pearce was originally contracted by NASA to recreate the smell to help astronauts train before launching into orbit. Eau De Space reportedly smells like a mix of gunpowder, seared steak, raspberries and rum.
