Last year, the Sunday Sound Wave Special was his signature bike, but this year, it's the Sunday Wavelength. The reason for this change is that Gary wanted to modify the Sound Wave frames to have a longer, more stable chain stay. Instead of making the modifications to the Sound Wave, Sunday decided to turn the modified frame into a signature frame for Gary and create the Wavelength. I will be discussing everything you need to know about the Wavelength in this video, including the long chain stay which I think is ridiculous. Currently, the weight of the Wavelength is not specified but I'm sure Sunday will announce it soon and I'm guessing it will be under 25 pounds. This bike is expensive, costing $1249, but it's worth the price tag because everything on the bike is aftermarket and buying the complete bike is actually a good deal compared to buying all the parts separately. The Wavelength comes in a 21 inch top tube in matte army green colorway and is available in left and right hand drive. The top tube is best for riders over six foot, but if you're over 6'3, you may want to consider the Sunday Dark Wave with a 21.25 inch top tube. The Frame geometry is different than what you'd see on a traditional BMX bike, with a 75 degree head tube angle, 9 inch standover height, and a chainstay length of 13.65 to 14 inches. The long chainstay makes the bike more stable and controlled, but also makes pulling up into manuals harder and spinning a bit harder. The bottom bracket height of 11.5 inches makes the bike more stable and controlled as well. The forks are 28mm with a meter offset, the cranks are 170mm Odyssey Caliber cranks, and it comes equipped with a Sunday freeze 48mm reach top load stem and an Odyssey Anagram cassette Hub that's switchable between right and left hand drive. The bike has a 25/9 gear ratio and is a cassette. This bike is a high-quality, pro-level Sunday Wavelength frame with attention to detail and full aftermarket components including the Sunday Darkwave Forks with a 41 thermal lifetime warranty, Odyssey Super Highway Bars with the same warranty, Odyssey Caliber cranks, and Odyssey Hazard Light aftermarket double walled rims. This bike is suitable for any weight and is a reliable, long-lasting bike. If any components break, they may have the 41 thermal lifetime warranty, meaning they can be replaced for free. Overall, I recommend this bike if you're looking for a pro-level bike, but I also understand that not everyone will stick to the sport and a high-end bike may not be necessary for everyone.
