Matt says, how can I 180? I can on 90 degrees. I think you mean you can hop 90 degrees
0:07
I want to say, let's see. Again, three tips for you, Matt. Tip number one. So some tips for 180
0:19
If you're only 180ing, if you're trying to 180 and you're only getting 90 degrees, here are a
0:29
turning your head the way that you want to spin. A lot of people hop and try to 180, but they either
0:35
keep their head forward or they turn it back the opposite way because they get scared. So make sure
0:40
that if you're trying to spin left, that you hop and turn your head to the left. Okay. Tip number
0:45
two, make sure you've gotten a good bunny hop. You need to actually be able to bunny hop. I'd say a
0:50
foot or two before you can get 180. So maybe not two feet, but at least a foot because popping up
0:57
that high is going to give you enough time to get the wheels all the way around and then
1:01
you won't necessarily have to spin super hard. So that would be number two is make sure you have a good bunny hop and then three is play it over in your head This is one thing that helped me out a lot Just kind of close your eyes and envision what
1:16
it's going to look like when you land it. And by doing that, it's not like some weird woo woo
1:22
visualization manifestation thing. It's like when you're visualizing it, you're breaking down the
1:28
process. And so like, if you're visualizing the one 80, um, for me, I close my eyes and I see
1:34
myself approaching a reference point. It's like where I want to pop and do that 180. And right
1:39
before the reference point, I see myself turning my tires a little bit to start to curve before I
1:45
pop and that initiates the spin. And then I see myself compressing my body and getting ready to
1:49
pop. And then I see my tire hitting the reference point. I pop up and start that spin. And so like
1:56
visualizing it like that and thinking about every little detail is going to help you out because then
2:00
you can record yourself and watch it back and say, Hey, did I actually, uh, did I actually do
2:07
what I was supposed to here? Why am I not compressing my body? Why didn't I carve? And
2:11
you can see those things. Um, but without seeing you trying the trick, it's really hard for me to
2:15
give you feedback. So those would be the three things that I would say is just double check that
